I share a personal shift that changes how I handle stress and how I define success. Coming back to church after years away helps me slow down, regain perspective, and reconnect with what matters most.
• drifting away from church as life gets busy with work, family, and business
• noticing how modern stress and constant pressure can take control
• finding perspective that goes beyond money, success, and daily chaos
• feeling more peace, clarity, and gratitude through returning to faith
• why faith can support better decisions, stronger grounding, and healthier focus
• a simple nudge to reconnect with what once grounded us, without needing perfection

Welcome To Go Big With Gibb
SPEAKER_00Welcome to the Go Big With Gibb Podcast, where we talk to professionals, business owners, and entrepreneurs about their big wins. Welcome to Go Big With Gibb. Today I want to talk about something a little more personal, something that has had a real impact on my life recently, and that is returning to church after being away for several years. Like many people, life just got busy. Between work, family, business, stress, and everything else going on in the world, church slowly stopped being part of my routine. And honestly, I didn't realize what I was missing. Because you're moving fast all the time, you don't notice when you've drifted away from things that ground you. So let's take a minute and be honest. The modern world is stressful. There is always something happening: work pressure, financial pressure, family responsibilities, news and world events, technology pulling at our attention 24-7. And if you're not careful, that stress starts to control your life. Your mind is constantly racing. You're always thinking about the next problem to solve. Going back to church gave me something that is hard to find in the modern world, and that is perspective. It reminded me that not everything is about money, business, or success. It reminded me to slow down, to be grateful, to think about something bigger than myself. And honestly, it brought a sense of peace and clarity I didn't realize I needed. Some people think that faith and success don't mix. I think the opposite is true. A strong spiritual life helps you stay grounded, handle stress better, make wiser decisions, focus on what truly matters. When you step back and remember that life is bigger than the daily chaos, it changes how you approach everything. Your family, your business, your relationships, your purpose. If you've drifted away from your faith or from something that once grounded you, maybe this is a sign to reconnect with it. Remember, you don't have to be perfect. You just have to start. Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs in life happen when you slow down long enough to reflect on what truly matters. Thanks for listening and remember, go big or go home.
