Speaker 1:

Hey, welcome back to the King's perspective with King Chill. And that's right, this is episode 4. Who would have thought episode 4, but I am back, and I am back to enlighten you and share more information on pop culture, whether it be film, music, television, sports, gaming. Did I forget something? Don't believe. So I am back to share my thoughts and perspectives on those genres. So I am back to share my first favorite genre film. Now the films that I am getting ready to talk about have a IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes score here with popular movies. So the first one here is Spider-Man. No Way Home has currently a 94% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes because of the synopsis. Peter Parker's secret identity as Spider-Man is revealed to the world. Desperate for help, he turns to Doctor Strange to make the world forget that he is Spider-Man. I remember when the film came out in the trailers, kind of just showing that synopsis had everybody intrigued, and then once they revealed another trailer showing that it was a multiverse film and the worlds were kind of collapsing in on each other. So then you saw Spider-Man Toby McGuire, spider-man Andrew Garfield and their villains coming into the world of the current Spider-Man played by Tom Holland. It was just like an Avengers event which really made the film that much more intriguing and exciting. If you have not seen that film because you are kind of on the fence with Marvel films, I would definitely say it is a film to check out.

Speaker 1:

The Matrix Resurrection has a 67% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes scores. This synopsis on this film says Neo, who seemingly lived an ordinary life as a video game developer, has trouble distinguishing fantasy from reality. Ah man, that Matrix film when it came out and I watched it and seeing the other Matrix films, I will give them credit for them trying to say that essentially, either Matrix, not Matrix, but Neo got out of the Matrix and lived an ordinary life, or he had been living an ordinary life and everything that we knew as a Matrix was all made up by him at that point in time. So the premise I understood it, but again it just it paled in comparison to the other films that I had seen. So it just ah, it was just tough to watch.

Speaker 1:

Don't Look Up has a 55% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Now it tells about this film as a or two, a strong or sorry, attempting to warn humanity about the approaching comet that will destroy human civilization Immediately. This film came out roughly somewhere in 2020 or 2021, star Leonardo DiCaprio trying to warn civilization about a comet getting ready to hit Earth and there would be no survivors. So essentially the premise was if you knew the world was ending and you knew, kind of timeline wise, how much time you had, what would you do with the time? Would you make the most of it? Do things that you've never done before? Ah, etc. It was pretty much the premise and you can kind of see everybody's personalities throughout the film, what they were like before and after and how it played out.

Speaker 1:

The Lost City has a 50% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes scores. The plot follows a romance novelist and her cover model who must escape a billionaire who wants to find the Lost Ancient Burial Chamber described in one of her books. That movie stars Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum and also has Brad Pitt. Very interesting premise of that film. From what I've seen on the trailers, I still haven't gotten around to watching that film, but I definitely will because it still has my curiosity. So I'm going to try to get around to watching that film eventually here.

Speaker 1:

And then, lastly, the King's man has a 44% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It says this film is set in the early 20th century, during the World War I, and follows Orlando, duke of Oxford, and his son, conrad, who joined forces with other spies to stop a cabal of history, worse tyrants and criminals, from starting a war that would wipe out millions of people. So it follows the King's man series. From what I can see here and I think this is the third installment they keep baking them Apparently. People like them. So I've never gotten around to watching any of those, but I definitely need to start with the first film and then work my way up to this third one here. So it seems very interesting.

Speaker 1:

Now on to current films that are coming out. In the month of January we have a film called Origin, and the film explores how the legacy of slavery in the United States, the Holocaust in Germany and the caste system in India have shaped lives of millions of people Cult Killers. The film follows a young investigator who follows no forms and alliance with the serial killer to clear the name of her mentor, who's involved in a case with a wealthy family of dark secrets. Sounds pretty interesting. Inside the yellow cocoon shell, the sudden death of his sister-in-law brings an unexpected responsibility to Thine who, reluctantly, is tasked with bringing his five-year-old nephew Dao to their countryside home. So a bit of a coming of age story, it feels like. Seems like that should be interesting.

Speaker 1:

Now, one that I am interested in seeing in May C in the coming week is a film called American Fiction. It tells the story of the loneliest monk, ellison, a black writer and professor, who writes a satirical novel full of black stereotypes as jokes. But it becomes a sensation when the novel is published and praised by the public. It's like writing all the worst things about your culture or your ethnic background and putting it out to the masses All the worst things, all the worst jokes, and it's being consumed. And while it's being consumed, it's being consumed, very praiseworthy, and what the author finds is they want him to continue to write. So then it becomes an issue, probably for the writer's conscious, where it's like you know, I like making money, but I don't like what I'm talking about, because now I'm kind of feeling a little torn or conflicted. It kind of reminds me of a bit of when it comes to playing into stereo types and denigrating a little bit of one's community.

Speaker 1:

A bit of what we once saw with Tyler Perry, where at first, when he came out and playing this Medea character. It was great, and putting all the things out there in the black community some of the best things, some of the worst things. It was well received, well praised, but over time it became it ran its course is the best way to put it. But at some point it continued on and then it just became a thing where some men in the black community felt that some of the depictions of males in the black community was a little off, and then the same with the black females in the community felt that some of the depictions were off. So that's the give and take when you kind of play into those tropes. But either way, jeffrey Wright, who's going to be playing this character, is a great performer, great actor. So I'm willing to sit down and see this film and I'm anxious to kind of see how his acting is in this film. It's set up as a comedy, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Speaker 1:

Now we're going to move over to another second favorite genre of mine music. Now, this is according to YouTube music charts and their top songs and hardest videos for YouTube are Red Moon by Lil Uzi Vert, all Too Well. The 10 minute version, taylor's version from the Vault by Taylor Swift. Easy On Me by Adele, which we talked about last week, where again she's making a resurgence from some of her old music. Stay by Kid Lloroy and Justin Bieber. Bad Habits by Ed Sheeran. Some of the top artists for YouTube are Taylor Swift, adele, ed Sheeran, lil Nas X and Drake.

Speaker 1:

Now, promising artists who are making waves in the music scene on 2024 are Chappelle Ronan is a singer songwriter from Missouri who blends pop, rock, soul with her catchy and emotive songs. Ellen, a French Algerian rapper and singer who mixes hip hop, r&b, afro beats and her bilingual tracks. Hmm, I have to check her out. Fontina, a British Nigerian singer and songwriter who creates uplifting and empowering anthems with a fusion of pop, soul and Afro beat. Friday is a Canadian rapper and singer who delivers witty, infectious bars over trap beats. I can say this man, it's going to be tough for you out there in Canada because you already got one guy who's holding it down with Drake. There's not too many rappers out of Canada that people can think of. When you think of Canada and you say, oh, who's your favorite rapper out of Canada? Most people say Drake. So that's really tough competition coming out of Canada for him. But if he's making this list. Apparently he's broken through, but, again, not too many make it through out of Canada. Besides Drake. And then Hayley is a French singer and producer who crafts atmospheric and ethereal pop songs with a touch of electro and indie.

Speaker 1:

Now I'm doing a new topic here. Now this topic is going to touch on every state's popular or famous artist, and I'm going to start here with California and that's not being biased, because I'm from California, but the plan is to touch every state and then give you the top artist from that state or band, some that you are very familiar with and then some that you had no idea were from your state. Okay, now for California. You've probably heard most of these artists, so this will come as nothing new to you. Okay, so we've got Billie Eilish gain popularity in 2015 with her single Ocean Eyes. She is known for her unique songwriting and musical style and anesthetics.

Speaker 1:

Dr Dre I mean I'm not sorry because it's like I don't want to do this, but it's just like we all know Dr Dre. Right, if you've been living under a rock, which I mean it could be a possibility, but Dr Dre, famous rapper, producer from NWA and Aftermath, helped discover the careers of Eminem, 50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar, so it's not much that needs to be said on him. Katy Perry again another one, but here it says has sold over 140 million records worldwide and has won five American Music Awards and four Guinness World Records. As a reason, though she's kind of been Bowen, I would say middle, but she's like most like Top three, top four. You know, you've got your Taylor Swift, you've got your Beyonce, you probably got your Dylan there, and then Taylor, and not Taylor, but Katy Perry somewhere Right after that group. So she's right in the thick of things.

Speaker 1:

Travis Parker, best known as the member of the rock man, blink 182, pro-lific, producer, collaborator, who's worked with little Wayne, machine gun Kelly and post Malone. For the most part he was the drummer, and that's not saying oh, he's just a drummer, like to denigrate him. But no, like he was the drummer in the band, but like his percussion, his drumming skills are unmatched. I know most hip-hop artists will usually call him in to do some live instrumentation for drumming. I would probably say he was very instrumental in that band, like that of a Ringo star for the Beatles. So, and then lastly, rounding it out here, kendrick Lamar, a rapper, songwriter from Compton, california, who has 13 Grammy Awards and a Pulitzer Prize for critically acclaimed albums such as good kid Matt, city and to Pimp a butterfly. That's it. That speaks for itself, far far as I can look them are.

Speaker 1:

There's really not much more I can say about the guy, other than if I do have the window to open up a small little critique, little caveat, when Well actually goes back to the Pulitzer Prize. So roughly two years ago he released an album called Mr Morale and the Big Steppers critically acclaimed album, so it probably will too, over time, get a Pulitzer Prize. My critique on that album though it did not like his previous albums and I don't want to compare him and say that they had a sound like the previous albums. It just sonically did not move me With any emotion, quite like his previous months where it draws you in With the instrumentation and the lyrics. Now the subject matter was very important on what he was talking about, but the way it was layered over the instrumentation and that instrumentation just didn't seem to have a hold on me, to move me or Move some type of emotion out of me, like his previous albums, just kind of fell flat and it was really great subject matter. So that would be my only critique with at least any of his albums he's released. That particular one just kind of fell flat, but overall his career has been great. No complaints really on him as an artist or personally, far as anything that we've heard about him in his personal life.

Speaker 1:

Onto sports in the NFL, the list for the 2024 Hall of Fame finalists have been debuted, so I'm gonna go over that list here and see if any of your famous or favorite NFL players have made this list. We've got Eric Allen, jared Allen, willie Anderson, jari Evans, dwight Franey, antonio Gates, ronnie Harrison, devin Hester, tori Holt I was not a fan Because I'm a Dallas Cowboy fan of Tori Holt in the sense of he was with the St Louis Rams but man Growing up and watching that team in the early 2000s he had Isaac Bruce, tori Holt, marshall Falk, kurt Warner. That team was just amazing. They called them the greatest show on turf. So they won a Super Bowl and then had a chance to go up against the New England Patriots in a Super Bowl and Ironically it was the first Super Bowl for Tom Brady and he ended up winning against them and then that Started the career for Tom Brady to continue to have a historic career and win Super Bowls. So yeah Again, tori Holt, probably one of the best wide receivers you'll see ever. So just go back and on YouTube and watch some of his highlights. Andre Johnson, another great receiver. Fred Taylor great running back. Reggie Wayne if I had my choice out of the Indianapolis Colts during that time when Peyton Manning was there, you had Reggie Wayne being thrown to by Peyton Manning, but if I had my choice, I still would go with Marvin Harrison. I felt like that pairing Was a better dynamic duo or combo. Nothing to take away from Reggie Wayne, but I still like Marvin Harrison, patrick Willis and Darren Woodson.

Speaker 1:

The 2024 NFL Pro Bowl. The roster for the Pro Bowl games was announced on January 3rd. Some of the notable players who made the cut Brock Purdy, chris McCaffrey, george Kittle, nick Bosa and Fred Warner of the San Francisco 49ers, who have the most Pro Bowlers with nine. Some of the players who were snubbed Josh Allen, brandon Ayuki, cooper Cup and Patrick Mahomes Now, those that got cut. It's interesting because Josh Allen is literally in the playoffs as we speak. Brandon Ayuki and Cooper Cup play for the Los Angeles Rams and they are currently in the playoffs, and Patrick Mahomes is in the playoffs as well.

Speaker 1:

I would say the wonder kid Dynamo. He's revolutionized the NFL quarterback position, like that of Steph Curry. So them being snubbed, it has to be more of just really maybe the list was just up talent that was being put in getting very stiff or close and they just had to really break it down, maybe close to, I would say, statistics. And if one player had better statistics over the other, that's the only thing I can think of, because there's no way a good batter indifferent about Patrick Mahomes, how his season has played out, that he's not there. Same with Cooper Cup Josh Allen. To have nine San Francisco 49ers on a Pro Bowl is crazy. But I guess the reason why I'm a little biased on that as well is because I know eventually, if the Cowboys go a little further in this playoff, we will have to face off against them, and 49ers are like a jigger, not right now. It's the team that you don't want to face right now in the NFC playoffs.

Speaker 1:

All right now for the Walter Payton man of the Year award our finalist star, patrick Mahomes, cooper Cup, saquon Barkley, demarcus Lawrence, max Crosby, tyron, matthew Cameron, hayward and Bobby Wagner. Some great finalists, and not only great finalists, but great football players on the offensive side and defensive side. If I were to take a crack at this, looking at the list of this finalists here, I would probably say man, I wouldn't be surprised if Patrick Mahomes wins it. He gets snubbed in the Pro Bowl, but you get the Walter Payton award. So keep an eye on that.

Speaker 1:

Now the matchups for the playoffs. Okay, we're going to start with the AOC here. So Baltimore has a buy because they've got the best record in the AOC. Then for the first round, we have Buffalo Bills versus Pittsburgh Steelers. Now my money is on Pittsburgh. I have a sneaky suspicion that they can pull an upset. If they pull up that upset, they're making it to the next round. So I'm going to choose Pittsburgh.

Speaker 1:

The next team up is Kansas City Chiefs versus the Miami Dolphins. I've got another upset here. I think that it's going to be the Miami Dolphins because they are winning at the right time, which they've been doing Far as Kansas City. They're on a bit of a weird streak where they've won some games and then lost some games and they can't seem to find their footing. It's almost like they lost their confidence, and once you lose your confidence, especially in a foul, it's over, you're done for. They are a team that seems to be just like let's just go have fun and let's call these plays and what will happen will happen organically. But you can just look and see just something's a little bit off with that team. And they just won last year, the Super Bowl, so they're the defending Super Bowl champs. So if you're again the defending Super Bowl champs and you lost your confidence, it's not good.

Speaker 1:

And then, lastly, to round it out, houston Texans versus Cleveland Browns. Now my money would be on the Texans, with CJ Stroud as their quarterback, who's looking to win Rookie of the Year, and I believe they give out an award for offensive player of the year, which I believe he can win. But the Cleveland Browns have caught fire as well. I didn't think they had a shot in hell to win any games really. Furthermore, get into the playoffs. So I'm going to give you a percentage and say that it's a 60-40, because it's almost like they're evenly matched teams. Okay, so I'm not going to put too much on that one, but it's going to be tough watching that game because it can go either way.

Speaker 1:

Now on to the NFC. We have the San Francisco 49ers, who have a buy because they have the best record in the NFC. Now, first round matchups. Here we have Dallas Cowboys first Green Bay Packers and again, I've already talked about it already that I'm a Cowboys man but we won't go there. But they're facing off against the Packers and they are second best in NFC Going up against the Packers. My thoughts on this game are I didn't expect the Packers to even make a slot at all in the playoffs. I mean, I've been looking at the record and it just looked like they would not be able to get in. But they did, with a little luck. So they're kind of this back against the wall mentality right now. And, with that being said, that's a little dangerous for our team because we play good when we really need to, especially against teams like the Packers, and then, when it comes to teams that are winning or have great records, we stumble mightily. So playoffs or a whole nother beast, it's a whole new season. I expect the Green Bay Packers to come out swinging and not stop swinging, because their life is on the line with this playoff.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to go out of limb here and say it's the Packers man. I know anybody listening who's a Cowboys fan as well. How can you say that Look at how our season's gone? We can't be. We're not too consistent like a team like 49ers where we take care of business. So we're not taking care of business consistently. So there's room for the Packers to come in and beat us. And I would be surprised, though, if we went. Our playoff luck for these last 24 years honestly, since the 2000s up until now just have not been great, so I would say I'd be surprised we beat them and then get to the second round, which we'll talk about next week.

Speaker 1:

Now, another match up here we have is the Detroit Lions versus the Los Angeles Rams. What we're seeing here is a little backstory Now. At one time, jarrett Goff, the quarterback for the Detroit Lions, played for the Rams, and then at one time, the quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams currently right now Matthew Stafford, played for the Detroit Lions. So when that trade happened, a little time went on and then one of those quarterbacks won a Super Bowl. That quarterback was Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams. That was roughly about two, three years ago. So with that being said, with that backstory, my anticipation is Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions is gonna come in with a chip on a shoulder, trying to prove that he ultimately was the better quarterback in that trade, even though Matthew Stafford has already won a Super Bowl and I anticipate more. The same for Matthew Stafford to kind of come in play, keep his team above water, advance and survive. But I think there's a possibility, with Jared Goff, having that chip on a shoulder may work against him trying to go out there and do too much, proving that he was the better quarterback and ultimately cause his team. The only saving grace, though, right now with the Detroit Lions is their defense immaculate. So where he may make some mistakes, he's got his defense to fall back on. So look for that to keep them in the thick of things and keep them right in it, even if there are some mistakes being made.

Speaker 1:

One last thing here, far as teams go, are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Philadelphia Eagles. Now Tampa Bay just start winning games at the right time and catching fire, which I mentioned before, with Baker Mayfield as their quarterback. And then you have the Eagles, who are on a bit of a losing streak here, which is weird because at one time they were the top in the NFC where they had the best record. Lots of few games, maybe one or two and then he slipped down to number two in the whole NFC, which gave room for the San Francisco 49ers to take that record. Then they continued to win and then they hit a bit of a losing streak and then dropped down to number three and the whole NFC. And then who took that number two slot was Dallas. Far as this matchup goes, I know I said that a couple episodes that Buccaneers would be a bit of a dark horse coming into the playoffs, but I'm getting a vibe now that I feel the Eagles will more than likely pull this game off. I think they're gonna come in and stop wanting to be pushed around and finally want to get their life together and win something. So they're gonna prove that here with this game against the Buccaneers and then, once they have found themselves, I think then they'll have that confidence back and be the most, be their old selves and be a strong team to compete against in this playoff.

Speaker 1:

A bit of a sad news here for you Patriots fans. Bill Belichick, the legendary coach of the New England Patriots, has ended his run with the team after 24 seasons. However, he has not indicated intention to retire, so that news hit a couple days ago and they had a bit of a press conference with the owner, bob Kraft, a farewell, and it's odd to see him leave, because what we knew of the Patriots was 1A Bill Belichick, 1b Tom Brady. And then Tom Brady just left the Patriots about a few years ago, went down to Tampa Bay, won a Super Bowl and then retired. But Bill still hung around and was still trying to rebuild that Patriots organization and still keeping it Patriots way. He was hoping to find just that right quarterback so that he can continue on his magic to prove that, hey, the glue is really me. I don't need Tom Brady. But now looking at it, they needed each other. Even though Tom Brady did win another Super Bowl, I still say his best days were in New England.

Speaker 1:

On to the NBA, we have Luka Donchich of the Dallas Mavics, who scored 34 points and a thrilling win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. His defense, especially against Carl Anthony Towns, stood out the most. When you call him Luka Donchich, donchich, luka the Don and once LeBron retires, I would probably say probably next season they're looking for a face of the NBA. Right now there's not many that they have that they can say, hey, this is the guy that we're gonna, you know, jump on. But you've got Victor Wimbanyama from France, who plays for the San Antonio Spurs, who is kind of being ushered into that, but he's got a little ways to go. So Luka's been proven, even though he hasn't won a championship. I think that might be a possibility that they may be trying to put Luka as the face and then to have an international player as a face of the NBA. It's kind of great as well.

Speaker 1:

The Suns had a mixed performance, winning their first four games after Christmas, but when one and two in the second half of their six game homestead Suns are struggling. They've got Kevin Durant, you've got Devin Booker and then you also have his name escapes me. I can see his face. They just added a third star. His name escapes me from Washington. At the end of the show I'll come back and add his name, but I just think it's a chemistry thing. I think sometimes when you put a team together almost a super team that team for the most part it's gonna take some time, and this is like their second year, at least with Katie and Devin Booker together. So hopefully, if they can get to the playoffs, they'll start clicking at the right time. Dreymont Green has been reinstated after his 12 games suspension, so let's hope that him coming back helps them get back to winning warrior form.

Speaker 1:

Giannis entered to cupo, put up 44 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists against Victor Wimbanyama we just talked about him who delivered 27 points and five blocks. So you've got the battle of the Giants there, with Giannis who's about 7-1 and Victor who's about 7-4 and a half. So those are impressive numbers by two Giants, if you ask me. Shay Gildris Alexander shakes up things with the Kia MVP leader climbing up the charts with number three slots. He's making waves right now. That kid is cooking at the right time for OKC. I can definitely see why he is definitely number three candidate for the MVP race, especially with an average right now of 31.6 rebounds and six assists.

Speaker 1:

Again, college football in some, some, some breaking news here, which was crazy. Nick Savin, the legendary coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide, has announced his retirement. He spent 17 seasons at Alabama and won more college football national championships than any coach in the modern era. It's again crazy because it broke right around the time of Bill Belichick. But when you think of that Alabama team, it's Nick Savin and everything he's been able to do to bring in players, and then Hall of Fame players, nfl talent. So good luck on the retirement, savin. It's going to be interesting to see how Alabama goes forward, especially with this upcoming season, how they do. Michigan won its first national championship in the college football playoff era that night, defeating Washington with a score of 34-13. So when the college football championship was played against Washington and Michigan, michigan was a victor, kind of what we expected it to be, as I mentioned on the last show. So I'm glad I was right on that one.

Speaker 1:

Now on to television. Here are some top TV shows that are currently popular in training on Rotten Tomatoes Forming one season one with a score of 75%. Berlin season one with a score of 50%. The Sandman season one with a current score of 94%. Cobra Kai season five with a 100% rating. Black Mirror season six with a 93% rating. I mean they got to get that rating up for Black Mirror. That anthology is the greatest thing that Netflix has had. It's not some other series, but Black Mirror is just like Outer Limits, twilight Zone, tales from the Crypt, you name it, any of those weird kind of shows that have some dark twist and turns with a message behind it. Black Mirror is your show, love and Death, plus Robots, volume three, with a 91% score. Season four has a 97% score. Doesn't surprise me, everybody loves the boys.

Speaker 1:

The Expand, season six, has a current score of 100%. The Mandalorian, season three, has a score of 94%. That should be 100%. It's had three seasons A great origin, original story of the Mandalorians and then Grogu, who's a species that's like a Yoda character. But the series is great. The series. It should be way higher than 94%. The Hand's Maid's Tale, season five, has a current score of 89%. The Umbrella Academy, season four, has a 90% rating. The Walking Dead, season 13, has a 92% score. Season 13 is crazy to me with the Walking Dead. I remember when that thing premiered, I believe it was back in 2010. And thinking that this is great, you know, for the zombie genre. And then I would say, since this is season 13, I want to say man, by season six or seven, at least for me, I got zombie fatigue and was just kind of like all right, man, this is, this is it for me, but it's still going, still going strong. The Good Season, season five, has a 97% rating. And then, lastly, to round it out here, the Marvelous Miss Maisel's season five with a 95% rating.

Some documentaries that Netflix wants you to check out Making a Murderer about Stephen Avery. The Wild Wild Country tells the story of the controversial Indian guru Bagwan Sheree Rani and his followers, who built a utopian city in rural Oregon in the 1980s. The Chef's Table a series that profiles some of the world's most renowned chefs in their culinary creations. The Toys that Made Us the history of some of the most iconic toy franchise, including Barbie, gi Joe and Star Wars. So those are some of the top documentaries that you should check out, all right. And then, according to MSNBC, the 2024 Golden Globe Awards show, which aired on CBS this year, saw a 50% increase in viewership compared to last year's show on NBC Interesting. So it's essentially just telling me that sometimes a change of scenery makes all the difference. I guess, all right.

And lastly, here on the genre of video games, the screen actors Guild, american Federation of Television and Radio artists, have signed a deal with Replica Studios to a generative AI voice company to make it easier for actors to license their voice for use in video games. So that's cool, keyworthy video games of the month of January and February Tekken 8, which will be on platforms such as PS5, xbox and PC, debuts on January 26,. Suicide Squad Shield of Justice League, which we talked about last episode, will be on platforms such as PS5, xbox and PC, makes its debut on February 2. Now it says this is a sequel to Batman Arkham Knight back in 2015, based on DC Comics Team Suicide Squad. The gang follows Captain Boomerang, deadshot Harley Quinn and King Shark, who were sent to Metropolis to stop Brainiac and kill the members of the Justice League brainwashed by Brainiac. Final Fantasy Rebirth for PS5, debuts February 29, is probably the most anticipated game of the year. Final Fantasy Rebirth well, originally it was Final Fantasy 7 in 1997, helped establish PlayStation as a dominant entertainment force. The remake trilogy, whose first installment launched in 2020 to critically acclaim, is meant to honor and continue that game's story.

According to Rankers, some of the most popular video games right now include Among Us, fall Guys, overwatch and Rocket League. As far as Among Us is a social destructive game where players work together to prepare a spaceship from departure while trying to identify or eliminate the imposter among them. The last man standing is King of the Hill. So they've got many obstacle courses in that game and it's just all about survival. Really interesting game. Overwatch is a first person shooter game where players form a team and compete against each other and complete objectives. Rocket League is a game that combines soccer with driving, where players control cars and try to score goals. So I played it out a few times. It's piqued my curiosity but didn't hold it for long my interest, so I kind of moved on from there, so it wasn't too bad.

Oh, to make an update here for the sports, when I was mentioning the team currently constructed for the Phoenix Suns, where you have Kevin Durant, devin Booker, that third star is Bradley Bill, who came from Washington Wizards, so he's the player that's their third star, bit injured off and on, but they're hoping that those three players together can come together and their chemistry can form to push them deep into playoffs coming out of the west. So we'll see again how that team goes. Well, again, that's the show. I'm King Chiu and this has been King's Perspective, episode 4, down in the books. I hope you enjoyed what I was talking about, what you listened to. If you do like, subscribe, comment, share with a friend or family and I will be back next week to do this again with you.
