Faith in Jesus brings forgiveness of sin but not immediate perfection. The deeper we grow in our faith, the more we become aware of our shortcomings and desire to experience victory over sin. No matter how hard we try on our own, it is impossible to live an absolutley perfect life every day. In Romans chapter 6 we read what has been done and what we can do to live a new life in Christ. The exciting process of becoming more like Jesus is called sanctification. Come to Rockwell Church this Sunday to be encouraged to see yourself dead to sin and alive to righteousness as you commit to follow God’s plans for your life. It’s communion Sunday https://rockwell.church
How you can Experience Victory Over Sin
1. Victory because we are CALLED to live a New Life (Romans 6.1-4)
2. Victory since we are Set Free from the CHAINS of Sin and Death (Romans 6.5-10)
3. Victory when we CONSIDER ourselves Alive in Christ (Romans 6.11)
4. Victory when we give ourselves COMPLETELY to God and His work (Romans 6.12-13)
5. Victory when we CHOOSE to obey God and become Holy (Romans 6.14-19)
