Romans 1:7 says, “Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Grace and peace—two gifts only God can give. Grace is His undeserved favor, His love and acceptance not based on what we’ve done, but on what Christ has done. Peace isn’t the absence of trouble—it’s the steady calm of knowing we’re right with God through Jesus.
I once shared a story about Chuck Norris—the action hero known for Walker, Texas Ranger. What many don’t know is that he’s a man of faith. He gave his life to Christ at twelve, drifted for a while in Hollywood, and later came back strong in his walk with the Lord. Chuck said, “My wife Gina and I are Christians, and our faith is the primary anchor for our souls. It’s what gives us true peace, hope, and a remedy against fear.”
That’s grace and peace in action.
No one is too tough to need God’s grace, and no one is beyond the reach of His peace.
Let those words from Romans 1:7 anchor your soul today—and maybe take a moment to think about your own story. How has God’s grace found you? Where has His peace carried you?
