Meet the Co-Host:
Keith Gause was born in Houston, Texas and moved to Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 2. He continues to reside in Jacksonville with my wife, Deanna, and two daughters: Addison (13) and Kylee (10) and their 4 dogs, a cat, a bearded dragon, and a snake. (If it were left to the ladies to decide, they would have a zoo!)
Keithโs childhood was spent playing sports, being an only child, and watching his father become an entrepreneur by continuously failing and trying again. His father built a multimillion-dollar company allowing him to retire and live the life he always dreamed about. Watching his fatherโs journey taught him a lot about business.
Not ready to jump into the family business, Keith went into the military in the year 2000 at age 18. He spent 5 years assigned to the 20th Special Operations Command in Ft. Walton Beach FL and spent a majority of his military career deployed to places that needed the most attention.
Keith continued in the world of excitement and danger by going into Law Enforcement where he spent 10 years working in Northwest Jacksonville. He worked the nightshift, 6pm -6am, which allowed him to have a full day to make an impact on what he ultimately wanted to do. That goal was to create an empire and to impact as many business owners as possible.
In 2009, wanting to care for his wife and first born in the best way, he took a big risk and spent his entire savings on an inactive business name and one inflatable bounce house. Bounce Around Jax Party Rentals was Northeast Floridaโs #1 party and event rental business. At least that is what he believed!
By 2012, Keith was able to make a 7-figure exit and leave Law Enforcement and began to study all things finance & investing. He focused on learning about any mistakes he had made as a business owner and became obsessed with helping others avoid the same ones. That is how Tideland Consulting came to be. Now, Tideland operates in all 50 states and has created a non-bias ecosystem for growth-oriented entrepreneurs that maximizes how each dollar impacts the business, from protecting assets and reducing taxes to succession plans and exit strategies.
In 2023, Tideland aligned with GFG Solutions as a strategic partner to serve business owners at the highest level, with a white-glove service feel from a world-class team.

Hey everybody and welcome to The Integrated Entrepreneur. I am here with my friend Rob Cressy Rob specializes in teaching and self-development of people and artificial intelligence, specifically around chat, GPT. And Rob, forgive me if I'm wrong, but you said it, you had it named Generative AI. Is that what you called it? Yeah, so generative AI is just using the chat bot version of AI of which chat GPT and Gemini and those are it's a fancier word, but just way easier to say chat GPT. Okay, there we go. let's peel back some layers here. How did that come about? How did you get into this specific space? So I am forward thinking by design as an entrepreneur. I'm always looking forward on where things are going. And a friend of mine texted me the first week Chat CPT was out in beta and he's like, hey, check this thing out. And within the first minute of me using it, I felt like I just used the internet for the first time. And immediately I was all in. I saw what the next decade of business was going to look like. And I was like, holy smokes. I'm already a master creator and you're telling me you're going to give me this magic thing for free and this is real and it completely blew my mind where I then couldn't stop using it because I was like, let me see if I can break this thing. And then what about this? And the thing that immediately separated me, which is the biggest advantage both for myself and everybody that I work with is on Twitter, which side note is great. If you want to be in the world of AI, because it's very forward thinking. I would see posts of like, I can run a blog post that sounds like Daffy Duck. Ha ha. And I'm like, how do I turn a dollar into a dollar 50? I'm an entrepreneur. Immediately. My lens was business growth. I'm not romantic about this. This is just a tool. It just so happens. It's the most powerful tool ever. So I started using it in my own business, trying to break it, trying to impress myself. I created a Facebook group around it, just sharing videos and tips on, Hey, here's how I'm doing this. And this was the light bulb moment. So I go into Google and I, search Chat, GPT coach, Chat, GPT course, Chat, GPT mastermind, Chat, GPT community. You know what I found? Nothing. Zero things on the entire internet ever. on how to help other people with chat GPT. And with that, was like, well, chips in the table. I know I want to be in this industry, even though I have no technical background, no AI experience, but I lived my experience. you want to get in your reps. I was using chat GPT four hours a day, every day for three months straight. I'm already a coach around self-development and brand building. So I took those lenses. started to create intentional content for business owners and entrepreneurs that said, Hey guys, here's a way that you can use this to create a brand voice to build better strategies to do X, Y, and Z. And then from there for the last two years, I've been doing one-on-one coaching and group coaching all around integrating chat, GPT into your business. How long do you think it took you of to say that you mastered it or got proficient in it? Because I can tell you, if I've used chat GPT for 30 minutes, I don't even think I've done that. Okay, great question. And then I actually teach this. Here's how I would think about this. Get to 20 hours because if you get your 20 hours in, you'll be more proficient than 95 % of people in the world. So the only thing actually stopping you from the next level of this is your earned experience. So no different than riding a bike with the training wheels. You're like, all right. Let me ride a bike for 20 hours and you're going to be significantly better. And what you're going to realize is what works, what doesn't work. What am I not doing correctly? And then God forbid we use our growth mindset that says, wow, what if there's anybody out there that can help accelerate the speed in which I'm doing this by giving me a few frameworks for how I can think or see or create with chat GPT. So once you go from zero to 20, now you've seen the light bulb moments, 20 and above becomes All right, now it's self-mastering for yourself. what are some of the more creative things that you've seen run on it? Because I've seen a lot of stories, I just use chat GPT. I was able to do this function and that function and added this to my business. Can you give us some unique cases as to what it can do and how it's helped people's businesses? Just for the average person, let's just say you know nothing about Yeah, 100%. So here's the very first thing that I did in a lot of people usually go there in writing or creating or content So you could just put in an idea like, how do I build a marketing strategy to go to do do do do your wow? I'm a marketing agency. I'm just going to post this blog post on how to create a marketing strategy. Well, that's fine. It's kind of generic because you didn't really say write me a marketing strategy for a small business owner doing between one and five million dollars in this market doing this because the more specific you get the better. So the very first thing that I did when I realized this is I updated my social media bios. So one of my favorite use cases is using chat GPT as a world-class editor and it takes some nuance. to not have you sound like a robot. So if you just do some simple prompting at the beginning of hey, my brand voice is friendly warm professional witty yet brand saved. You can have a drink with me at the bar. Okay. Now it understands how I talk. Cool. This is my current bio. Help me write a value-driven outcome focused bio that speaks to the transformation I deliver for my clients. And it's like do do do do do do do and I was like it did that in like 17 seconds. So what I ended up doing was updating my little tagline, updating my about me. And then I went through to my past history of jobs and I made them outcome focused so that anybody who went to my bio on LinkedIn would see not just, this is what I did, but it's sort of the outcome that I deliver that becomes a set it and forget it. Like the Ronco rotisserie cooker for anybody who remembers that thing. where boom, you do it once and you're done. So that's the lowest hanging fruit there. The next thing, and this came from a client that I worked with one-on-one would be they were an insurance agency and the CEO of the agency for one of their retention and awareness practices would create 52 emails for the year that they would send out to current clients, cold prospects. new people who come into your network. wasn't a sales oriented one. Think of it as nurture, just staying top of mind. It would take him three weeks to create the 52 emails And he wanted the sales team to take over this process because one of the areas in which they were dropping the ball was that they just weren't consistently running that process. They weren't HubSpot people, somebody else was doing it. So now the nurture sequence went to zero. So I start working with them and this is only on the second call of working together. Like, hey Rob, we want to build this email nurture automation. So what in the world we even put on this thing? Our CEO used to do a quote, a podcast and a recommendation. cool. That's a good structure right there. Now that we've created the structure, Hey chat, GPT help us create 52 emails with this sort of structure, keeping this sort of variety and specificity. I was like, cool guys, come back next week and tell me when it's done. It took them only three hours. CEO's old process. three weeks, sales teams process with chat GPT three hours, but here's the more important point. This is now shipped and implemented. So now those sales guys for the nurture of their leads, boom, they've got that drip, drip, drip. It's already loaded in the hub spots. They don't have to do anything with it. So very simple use case. Hey, nurture email drip three weeks into three hours right there. I really encourage people to look into the strategy side of things. If you don't have a written social media strategy or a content calendar, use Chat GPT for it because what you can do is task it to be anything. I want you to be a world-class social media marketer as if you are Gary Vaynerchuk and Seth Godin be very specific. And with this, I would love to create a 365 days social media strategy where we are posting on LinkedIn and Facebook. We want to use both written posts and short form video. And we also have a podcast. Our categories are I don't know help me create three to five categories for what we talk about. So we have a content mix. Do see how detailed I'm getting here? And if you're like Rob, I don't even know what questions to ask. Hey chat GPT. I want to create a world-class social media strategy. I don't know what questions to ask to create a specific one. Can you ask me 10 questions that I answer that will then help you create a specific strategy for me? Wow. Okay. can reverse engineer the strategy to get the questions to then create it. so tell us more about using it, any tips, because I've heard from a lot of people's specifics and I'll just add this one quick little story. We are right now rebuilding a program in which I train people to help entrepreneurs get financing, This is what I've done for 15 years. It's how I've taught people, it's how I create outside agents, And I have agents all over the country that work with us in that capacity. I am redoing the original training course. And so I updated all of the PowerPoints and in the past I've came into this studio and recorded them just like we're doing. And I just sent my chief marketing officer for additional marketing training. And where he got trained, they do use ChatGPT for a lot of different functions, especially when it comes to content marketing and believe it or not, explainer videos, And he's like, I know this is how you've always done this. I know it's gonna be hard for you, but I want you to record the first PowerPoint. the way you always do it, then I'm gonna show you how AI will produce that same video with the same slides, and you can compare you versus it, and it's the information that you're giving it. That was the only variable, Information change, it was just me versus. Well, shit. That's all I'm gonna say. humbling to get beat like that. At least in my opinion, because it was so like, I cannot put the types of graphics and the visual explainers to my face, right? And what this was able to do, like my subject, which I'm teaching at the highest of highest levels, and I'm trying to simplify down to a third grade level. Well, this brought what I was teaching down to like a kindergarten level. And I was floored, floored at just that. Okay, let's peel back this onion and this is actually one of the biggest tips that I can give you for how to use chat GPT. I legitimately say peel the onion because a lot of people where they fail is that garbage in garbage out gold in gold out. So you saw man. I gave this context and data and it gave me something good. But a lot of people will say well after the first response is trash. The first prompt is the start, not the end. A lot of people think it's going to write us a book in four seconds. And when it doesn't, it's like this thing doesn't work. No operator error. So the analogy is to peel the onion to where we're going to start with this. then it, and it yes, is all right, cool. Let's look at this. Cool. Let's look at this. Let's look at this. Let's look at this. So in your instance, here's the nuances for you or anybody else that would immediately level you up. You've got a course or some sort of. Text knowledge library, data slides, whatever it is. So you've got the context of the knowledge here. You can upload that data as the source. So one of the things that will immediately level you up is when, you understand this very simple framework, number one context. The more context you give any single chat GPT prompt, the more it can do for you marketing strategy versus marketing strategy for short form video doing blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Okay. Now we're more specific. Number two specificity. Tell it who you are, who your target demographic is, what you want to do. Be very nuanced because the next part becomes number three, iteration, your ability. to peel that onion right there. So Jonathan, for you, had you uploaded that in there, the one thing that you could have added to whatever prompt is, hey, take this knowledge, be world-class and concise, but make it relatable to someone so that it's spoken on a kindergarten level, So you can say, intentionally drill this thing down. And if it doesn't give it to you, you say, Hey, that's actually too dumb elevate this a little bit. So either way, and that qualifier right there allows you to take complex subjects and make them simple by saying Hey, let's make this thing easier. And for this, in terms of course creation I'm always going to system scale So the more that you can think about your systems for how you're doing anything when using chat, GPT, the better. What is my system or process for how I take my course and unpack it in a way where I can refresh the stuff? So you might actually just ask it, I want to take my current course and I want to refresh it. give me the strategy for the best ways that we can do this. So you're going to outline what it is just to verify that we're both on the same page here. And the good thing is it can take large concepts and make them simple. for example, I had a client who came to me who had a hundred hours. of course footage and scripts and said, Rob, I want to break it down to 10 hours, a hundred hours into 10 hours of scripts. How do I do it? And what we did is we focused on the process because system scale. So many people want to immediately go into, me just start creating the course. No, let's create the process for how you would do this infinite amount of times for any course, any knowledge sharing that you want to do. And when you come from that level, which Jonathan, for people like you and I, you start super high level, man, we're going to help and create a lot of impact in our business. Boom. Here's the big vision. Now give me the strategy. Give me the framework. Now let's tactical go step by step. And when you're uploading the right context to it, now you're doing it in a way where it speaks your language. Does that make sense? 100%. What are some of the more unique things that you've seen this do? things that you were like, I can't believe that just happened. The way that I call this is impress yourself to where you do something and you create it with Chat GPT and you're like, damn, that was good. And I'll share some of the light bulb moments that I've had in this. So early on in word over two years into this journey right now of Chat GPT. But early on, I don't know a single other person who's like using this or doing anything with it. So I'm like, let's see if I can break this thing. Let me see. How good is this thing? Really? So I'm just start pushing the envelope. And one of the things for me as a coach, and it's actually relevant to the conversation we just had is I hired a coach for two years to help me build out my marketing, my automation, my coaching program, the scalability, my website, all of that. was no coach. I was not a coach. Hey, let me build all my assets to me. Two years of work with him, probably $20,000 and working together. to build a coaching program. And all that is is my system of transformation to getting you to where you want to go, but doing so in an organized fashion. So it's not just, Hey, let me help you. It's like, no, I got a process for how to do this. So took me two years and I was all in on that. I go to chat and GPT and I'm like, all right, you think you're good? I was like, let's create a coaching program as this as if Jesus was alive today. And the reason I use Jesus, not because I'm religious, is actually because I thought about if someone had a coaching program at the highest level who would just sell tons of it, who would it be? And I was like, let's see what they would create for Jesus. I was like, I want you to create an eight week coaching program as if Jesus was alive and he was going to be marketing this on Instagram. And because I had gone through doing this myself for two years, I knew how to prompt this quicker because I knew, all right, what's the name of my program? What are the eight modules? What are the three modules underneath these things? How am I going to market? What's my automation? So I knew what to put in there and that blew my mind. And then I decided to have some fun with this. And I was like, all right, what are some ways that I can deliver? transformations for my clients in a way that nobody else has. I was like, what if I gave my clients a self-development mad libs? Do you remember mad libs? I remember the name. like, today I am going to insert location to go see insert person. And the thing we're going to do is insert fun activity. So you're like, Austin stadium and apple. And then you read it and you're like, so I was going down the street to go to Austin when we came across an apple and we got into the stadium And it ends up telling this funny story where all of a sudden instead of Apple, it becomes astronaut or aardvark, whatever. And to create that on your own would take a lot of creativity and thinking of like, how do I make this thing make sense? Especially if. You're coming from the perspective of I want to deliver a transformation for my clients. So I'm not just saying, Hey, Jonathan, here's a fun Mad Libs to do. It's like, what if this was related to your year end goal planning and it was helping you set the vision and intention of what you're going to create. So now with that lens, I created a self-development Mad Libs and it took about 17 seconds. And I'm like, One, I don't even thought of Mad Libs in 30 years since I was like 12, but it was my awareness of something that was once created in the world to then blended into mine. So it would almost be like you being like, I want to create my own Sudoku puzzles to give to my clients that I put in my newsletter. And you're like, well, how in the world do you create that? And Chat's like, I got you, dog. We'll do this in two seconds. Instead of Sudoku, let's create Jonathan's own crossword puzzle. And if you get the crossword puzzle, let's turn that into a lead nurture campaign that says the first five people who solve this crossword puzzle, you're going to get a free call with Jonathan where I'm going to help you dot it out and up. And I'll give an applicable one for all of the parents out here. Super simple. So I've got a three year old son and I'm always looking for things to bond with him. And I'm not someone who is your phone and technology stranger danger. I'm aware. I don't want my kid on the phone all the time. At the same time. I spent nine hours watching red zone and fantasy football on Sunday. So who would I to be to say the TV is stranger danger. So I'm putting him to bed one night and he was a little fussy. So I know one of the things that Chat GPT can do is help you create images in about 12 seconds. So I'm like, hey, son, I want to create an image for you. What do you want me to create you? He goes, a dinosaur with horns. So I type into Chat GPT, create me an image of a dinosaur with horns in a jungle scene, vibrant colors. And it's the first time we've done this. And he's sitting next to me in his room and I sort of play it up. I'm like, five, four, three, two, one. Make that dinosaur, because I know there's like a 10 second lag from idea to execution. And I go, and then boom, this friendly dinosaur pops up and he's like, my God. I'm like, this is working. Create. Let's create another image. And my encouragement would be for anybody who's on the chat, GPT plus program, where you get the image creation, use your children's imagination. and co-create something with them. So now every night, what my son will say is, Hey, Dad, can we play five, four, three, two, one dinosaur? And I was like, that's what you're calling that thing. I was like, let's play five, four, three, two, one dinosaur. So because I played it up now, it's like, what do you want to create in his new favorite character? This is actually very challenging for me. He goes, I want to create mud named mud mud. I'm like, Really? He's like, yeah, these three. So I'm like, all right, create me a character of mud named Mud Mud in mud. But this kid for two weeks in a row has not stopped talking about his new favorite character mud mud. So now there's this thing that looks like a chocolate ice cream cone that says mud mud on it. And he's sitting in mud and there's a farm behind him. Unbelievable. I got to share that with everybody because it's a win for me. Well, yeah, you're teaching your kid what the average person doesn't realize is you're teaching your kid how to use AI to create. Right. It's the same thing I did. I wanted my son to learn business. So I got him a 3D printer and he thinks he's making toys and selling them to his friends, which he is. It's cool. Right. Like he's making all different types of stuff, but he's actually learning how to track inventory. He's learning how to market. He's learning how to sell. He's learning the accounting part of it and he's 10. Right. So I love any like it. That is probably one of the coolest and best ways to bond with me is anyone that can do something that you're creatively teaching your kids real life skills. Because let's face it, schools don't teach them shit. I'm sorry. Doesn't it's completely broken, completely failed. I have spoken with more teachers that back that up. They don't they do not fight it. And it's because they're handcuffed. Right. These are real world skills. All right. So that is Awesome. now I am going, I don't have chat GPT, but I am going to get it. So I'm going to ask you if I wanted to recreate that with my kids, what package do I need? How much is that going to cost? And give me some bumpers or some guide rails or an easy one, two, three startup. Nice and simple. So for anybody listening right now who is starting at zero, this is going to become gold for you. You got two versions free and paid paid is only $20 a month. And for us, Jonathan is entrepreneur is best in the world to have access to the greatest supercomputer ever created. That's going to change the history of the world in the next 10 years for $20 a month. It's a no brainer. The only reason you wouldn't pay for it is if you're not using it at all. But if you're not using it at all, then you're going to get completely passed by everybody in business who is. So let this sort of be the commitment. But why in the world do you pay for the plus version? Number one, the most up-to-date tech. So they are running trillion dollar business at this point, constantly upgrading this thing to save you time, make things more effective, to save you money, to create more with less faster. So as a business owner, whether you're a CEO, an employee, an entrepreneur, This is the no brainer of the century because of what it can do for you included in that is the ability to generate images. So you can say, create me a brand logo for my new 3d printing company with my kid named kids are us, even though that's obviously taken something like that. And there's the logo. So now you're going teach your son branding and realize, wow, that's significantly easier there. So That's a very simple one free. Hey, after this call of you've never used it, just go to chatgpt.com sign up for a free account. You can just link your Google account. That's what I did. And you just start using it. And if you start realizing this thing isn't working for me, go to my YouTube channel, just search unlimited coach or Rob Cressy. I've got tutorials or John that I can share with you resources on how to get started. Know that you just don't know what you don't know. but welcome to the world of entrepreneurship and being a leader where we're constantly going to grow. And then step number two becomes get in your 20 hours. And here's my recommendation for you, Jonathan, and everyone is what I say is focus on your diamonds. And what this means is what are the biggest problems in your business that if you solve them, baby, these are the diamonds that you will create there. So now when you come from a lens of business growth and solving problems, you might be like, yeah, I have not created a social media strategy or I do want to take this course. Get specific. Don't give me generic marketing strategy. Give me, Hey, I'm creating a course that has, is going to onboard new employees. I've already done this once. I want to make this a day, both world-class in kindergarten level. So anybody can do this. and start now looking at your world. So once you take inventory of the problems or the opportunities, now you're coming in this with a specific lens of focus in what happens inevitably 100 times out of 100 with anybody in my world is they start using it and they're like, my God, And they start using it. But all you have to do is get past the initial resistance of I have never used this before, but guess what? Neither did I, and neither did everybody else. So if you see this as an investment in yourself, I promise you this single skill will change your business and life forever. And think of this. My three year old son knows how to use chat GPT a little bit more than the majority of people who have never used this. He's not prompting. All he's doing is saying something to daddy. But if he can do it and Jonathan, if you can create a 3D printing company with your son, because think about this, Jonathan, here's the easier entry level for you. You bring in your son and you say, I'm going to start building infrastructure around this business. Well, what does this look like? System scale. Hey, Chat, GPT. I'm running a 3D printing company with my 10 year old son. I want to teach him financing, inventory, marketing. branding and scalability and hiring his first person, even though he's Ted, create me a strategy for how to do this for a 10 year old so that we can do this together. Now we can learn together. Hey son, what about this? What about this? Hey, what's that thing that you'd want to do? I would love for Tommy and Mark. Okay. Now you just start giving those inputs and this can become collaborative. Don't overthink this or be overly romantic that this has to be anything that you don't want it to be. Make it exactly what you want. Make it fun. Make it creative. Have it grow something. Does that help? Yeah, that's exactly what I wanted. I think everyone got a ton out of this.
