Show Notes

Russell Winkelaar (AKA Spiff) discusses accessibility and the lack of it at all levels of society, simple solutions that could be immediately implemented, and the cost to society as a whole when the right voices are absent from the rooms in which accessibility decisions are made.

In his gentle manner Russell offers perspective, humour, and humility. This is an important conversation and one from which everyone can benefit—for the sake of understanding and a more inclusive, and therefore better, world.

GUEST BIO: Russell Winkelaar is a disability awareness advocate, an actor, and an artist living in Toronto.

INSIDE STORIES exists to foster connection in a world suffering and dying from disconnectivity. It seeks to examine the stories we tell and don’t tell and how that impacts us.

The INSIDE STORIES PEOPLE in PLACES PODCAST examines specifically our relationship with Place and its influence on our ways of existing, our beliefs about ourselves and others, and our sense of belonging…or not.
