Sovereign Heart Frequency Podcast
SHF Podcast, Season 2, Episode 12: Profound Astrological Themes with Virginia Rosenberg
In this episode, Katherine Finley and Miriah Feehery welcome renowned intuitive astrologer Virginia Rosenberg to explore the profound astrological shifts shaping our current moment. Virginia reveals that we're standing at an unprecedented historical threshold- all outer planets (Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) have simultaneously shifted from earth and water signs into air and fire signs, creating harmonious aspects not seen in over 4,000 years. Most significantly, Saturn and Neptune are forming a conjunction at zero degrees Aries, the world axis, signaling a complete collective rebirth. Virginia explains how Uranus in Gemini is breaking down binaries into multiplicity, moving us beyond black-and-white thinking into more complex, nuanced understanding, though this evolution appears as increased societal fracturing.
The conversation explores how these cosmic shifts manifest in our daily lives, from the surge in spirituality and return to structured religion (Saturn in Pisces) to the emerging questions about work, purpose, and identity as old paradigms collapse. Virginia emphasizes that with Neptune and Saturn now in Aries, we're being called to redefine reality and identity on deeply personal levels- asking ourselves "Who am I? What do I truly want?" free from external programming. Rather than resisting the chaos and change, she invites listeners to recognize their agency in shaping their own reality through conscious intention, suggesting that each person can choose which "game" they want to play as humanity reimagines what it means to live on this planet.

Welcome to the Sovereign Heart Frequency Podcast. I'm Katherine Finley with Sovereign Heart Coaching and I'm here with my co host Miriah Feehery of Whole Being Counseling. We recognize that we're living through an intense time on our planet. There seems to be more polarization and division and less connected communication than ever before. We are here to change that. We intention to hold conversations in a container of love and authenticity. We believe that when humans come together from a heart centered place, we can not only understand one another, but we can get creative together, solving problems we couldn't solve alone. It's time to reimagine and rebirth a new world in which everyone's authentic voice is included in the harmonic orchestra of human voices, to create a world that works for all of us. Thank you for being part of this conversation, we're excited to have you. hi everyone. Welcome back to the Sovereign Heart Frequency Podcast. I'm Katherine Finley and I'm here with my co-host Miriah Feehery, and we are so excited to have our friend and resident astrologer, Virginia Rosenberg here with us today. Virginia is a renowned, intuitive astrologer based in Western North Carolina. Her mystical yet rooted writings have made her a household name. She wields astrology as a healing art and navigation system, and a spiritual form of time travel. Virginia is the founder of Sky Scholar, an immersive astrology school where students weave together through their shared love of wisdom keeping and way finding her annual cosmic calendar and forecast reach an international audience devoted to living in harmony with the greater whole. So Virginia, we are so excited to have you. We love, the way you look at astrology and how it relates to. What's going on in the world, and Miriah and I are often talking about the patterns that are going on in the world, the social trends. And so we're excited to hear you reflect on how that's connected to the astrology happening. So I didn't know if you wanted to start with the trends collectively that you're noticing. I feel like there's a lot up right now. But those that are interesting to you that you'd like to start us off with. So many trends, and it seems like things are getting weirder and weirder, and it's more. Difficult to have a grip on consensus reality than maybe ever before. I know that you have been talking on this podcast about heightened polarization and division, which is certainly a trend that I see and I'm aware of. On the internet, it's not actually a trend that I see so much in my daily life or my in-person encounters, but there is like a cultural swell of, intolerance. Mm-hmm. Towards. The other, the perceived other, the person who's perceived to be on the other side of the aisle or, um, of a different religious belief or of a different orientation towards, values. So I'm seeing that. I'm seeing heightened tension. I'm seeing the binaries break down, which I think is something that's due to Uranus in Gemini, the name that I gave for that transit, Uranus, Gemini, is. Schism to bridge. And my thought is that Gemini is a sign of two is a sign of the twins, right? So it leads to a binary. But from there, this just like when an embryo forms in the womb, there's first the, the cellular split into two, and then the cells continue to divide and multiply. And this is. To me, descriptive of the archetype of Gemini. And I believe it's part of what we're seeing as a sociocultural trend right now where anything that is a binary is actually further breaking down into multiplicity, into complexity, perhaps into factions. But I think that this is actually a good sign that we are overcoming of black and white existence and sort of transcending that. If we're able to understand nuance and complexity, or at least be present to nuance and complexity, then it can bring us into more of a spectral kaleidoscopic, fractile understanding of existence in ourselves. I love that. That's interesting.'cause I was, thinking as you were speaking about how. It can feel like in society the there was the left versus the right and now there's factions within the right and factions within the left and factions within religions. And I think I was holding that in my awareness as, negative or, like we're being coerced into, to fractioning more and more. And as I sit with what you're saying about it. We do then notice more that we have in common with one another when we're not just in a binary, in one or the other. So it could be leading somewhere that's more whole. Absolutely. And it actually, to me, it's a signal of higher intelligence when we evolve beyond a binary. Mm-hmm. I feel like we're the only democratic society that only has two parties, or we have the independent party, right, in some other ones, but they don't have a seat at the table, you know? So it's definitely, I feel like, more advantageous to allow for more diverse voices in. A political sphere, like how could there only be two choices? That just seems completely insane when you're talking about, society or even, even in those two choices. What if I believe half of one side and half of the other side? Then what do I do? You know? So I feel like, politically, it certainly seems like a, a sign of evolution, although I'm not really seeing. Any movement in the, in the two party system yet. But I am, I'm hearing you and holding out a lot of hope and faith that, that could happen. A lot of things could happen with all of these really profound kind of once in a lifetime astrology transits, right? Like obviously changes in the air and a lot of radical. Quick lightning fast revolutions and changes will be happening in the next several years. So maybe there will be a, a no party system. It won't be any government who knows. It could be anything. Maybe it will be a one world government, like some, some people are afraid of. We certainly hope not for that, But yeah, I think we're in this place where, it seems like there can be a lot of excitement about the future because, if we are responsible and empowered, it seems like so many things are possible and we could influence them, but at the same time, it also seems like things are changing so fast, and it's kind of like whoever's got the lead on the. Fastest computing AI model is gonna win. You know, so it's, it's really, an uncertain time, but also kind of an exciting time. I, I like change, so I find it to be exciting, but some people don't. So maybe it's not exciting for them. But do you wanna comment on what the stars are saying about. These big changes we're in for in the next couple years? Or, I mean, obviously you're not like a fortune teller, but just the possibilities that could be offered. Well, I never said, I'm not a fortune teller. No, forgive me, forgive me. I think I've told the story another podcast before, but I think when I had either my. Eighth or ninth birthday, I had my mom set up a tent in the backyard and I put on a fortune teller outfit and I had a crystal ball and I had people come in and get readings for me, so, Aw, that's awesome. But absolutely. Yeah. I mean, whether or not you're excited for the changes, they're happening and they're gonna keep happening. So there's An invitation to shift your own relationship to what is happening because that's something that you do have. Control over. And that's a place where you have a lot of agency is your relationship to what is and your relationship to change and your relationship to what's happening. And so if you can change the state of your own relationship to what is, that may actually have a far bigger influence and impact on what ultimately occurs. If you're able to orient in a, an authentic way and potentially a positive way. Because we are standing at a threshold of one of the greatest historical transitions that's ever been described by astrology. And the reason I say that is because all of the outer planets in our solar system as we know it to be today, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, they've all changed signs. Relatively simultaneously over the course of several months, they all changed out of earth and water signs into air and fire signs. And not only that, but as they are making this change, they're forming. Friendly, harmonious, supportive, and exact aspects to one another. While they do it, they're creating what's called a a minor trine or even a basket pattern, and the other piece that is exceedingly rare and historically significant. Is Saturn and Neptune are coming together to form a conjunction. They're doing so at zero degrees of Aries, which is the the world axis. This is the very beginning of the tropical Zodiac. This is the point that represents a complete and total rebirth. And so far, from what I've heard in the astrological community, we do not have evidence of these types of. Planetary convergences occurring in this manner for the last 4,000 years. So, I mean, this is where we are. We are right before this, archetypal rebirth as illustrated by the planets that are. Holding collective consciousness through their geometric relationships to one another. So that's where we are. And what does that mean? Well, I'll be sharing a lot about what that means in my cosmic calendar and the forecast that I do at the end of every year, in depth. I'll be sharing what that means. But I think what we can all feel about what that means is that we have come to the end of an iteration of existence. There is an obsolescent paradigm that is falling away. And it is collapsing. It, it is no longer holding energy. It's no longer holding life force. It's no longer in favor, and with a way of being a way of existing in a paradigm that is coming to completion. We as humans are also invited to reimagine. What it is that we're doing here on the planet, who it is that we're living into and why? Like, what the heck are we doing? So. On a concrete level, one of the things we can think about to sort of bring this into more tangible understanding is I think we are hearing these narratives and, and we can see that technology is rapidly advancing in capability and innovation, and it's going to completely shift the landscape of. What it means to work, for example, and what kind of work, people still want to be engaged in and need to be engaged in for a thriving society. And I think we can feel ourselves start to wonder, you know, if all of these jobs get taken away or replaced, what does that mean for. Why am I here? What am I doing with my time? What does that do to life on a larger scale? So that's one place where we can see this end of a paradigm reflected back at us where we don't know necessarily what comes next. But there are some theories and some concepts and some ideas about what comes next. And I personally think it's all dependent on what we're doing with our own consciousness and our own creative life force. Well, everything feels so chaotic and it's so hard to know what's true and what's not true. things feel like they're moving so fast. And when I feel into that in my own system, as you were talking, Virginia, it's like. I don't know that there is anything to do except come back inside and pay attention to our own awareness, our own consciousness, getting centered, getting connected to the earth. And I know that I can get caught in the chaos that is the outer world and what we're being fed and shown. And I'm in this question of, of like, we wanna create something new from our hearts and how do we do that, in a way that's not based on this imprint of the dysfunction of our past. And I don't know if you have any thoughts about that. I mean, I'm living into that question as are you, and that really resonates with me that question of how do we create from our hearts untethered from the familiar context of reality that we've grown accustomed to. Yeah. I've really been feeling that, feeling that question of like, where do I tap into? Pure, unadulterated, creative influence, creative energy. How do I reconnect with that embodied knowing or sense of where life force energy wants to go, what it wants to do. Why am I here? What do I really want? If I took away all of these external influences and incentives? And I don't have the answer to any of those questions yet, but those questions are all feeling really, really vital and really compelling for me right now. More so I think than they have ever before. It's like the game that we've been playing is totally changing. Like the rules of the, the game no longer apply and I'm just thinking of my children now and how, when the rules of the game no longer imply, you just, you invent a new game. Yeah. The, the game that has. Been invented for us in, in our lifetime is is full of unfairness, you know, who wants to play that game? It's like the bullies made up that game in a lot of ways about, the primary wage earning society. You know, the whole model of sitting at a desk for your whole childhood and then sitting at a desk for your whole adulthood and then sitting at home in front of a TV after that, you know, like I know that all of us have kind of already made a different game in some ways for ourselves and our children, but a lot of people haven't. A lot of people are still. Kind of just taking that for granted. And I, I think it's ripe time for a new game to be played. And I know it can be tricky to talk about, capitalism because the alternatives to that that we've already, experimented with as humanity have been sort of, critically flawed in a lot of ways. Post indigenous tribalism, right? All the modern fabrications of society, all the modern games for that metaphor, have been just riddled with flaws. And I love the idea of a free market, society and capitalism. But then now we're seeing. Oh yeah. Earning money for a living is kind of demented. Like, can we not just live, not have to earn, we just be connected with our innate, right to be upon this earth with all of the abundant resources that it has. And not have to sacrifice, our free flowing life force energy to some kind of wage earning. And I know that may not even be the game that changes in this threshold that we're in. Maybe that's one that stays, who knows? It's all kind of, seems like what you're saying. It's maybe all up in the air and. Maybe they'll even be, like you said, these fractals and, and possible, factions or complexities that come and there's so many more games that people can play. And if people wanna play the, capitalism game, they can't, if they wanna play the communism game or communism game or socialism game, they can. But if they wanna play the innately, God given right to life, human game, then they can play that one too, which, we see in more indigenous cultures. And it would be beautiful to see that interwoven with more modern society if people wanna play that game. I kind of wanna play that game, you know, I wanna. I live in a place where I can just plant mulberry trees and harvest, you know, silkworms threads and build a pond and have ducks that are my friends and share their eggs with me and have bees that share their honey with me. And I tend to lovingly and all these things and talk to my friends, whether it's Anna. On a cell phone or telepathically or holographically or teleporting, I don't care. Like, I just wanna be able to do that in a way that maybe is different than our ancestors did, where they were so isolated and like, I wanna do that and be a part of this much bigger society that we have on the earth now. So I feel very hopeful and inspired by what you just said about this threshold, this unprecedented time of, of creativity and co-creation that we're in Right now. I have a curiosity about another theme, Virginia, I'd love for you to speak to. And that's this theme of. This big surge of, Christianity coming in. And I Feel like in our history, and not just our history, certainly in Europe, there's been more and more people that were moving away from any sort of religion and identifying more with atheism or agnosticism. And recently, I mean, it feels like very recently, the last couple years or year, there's been a huge surge of. Evangelical Christianity. There's, I guess, some surge of Christianity in Silicon Valley, which I don't really understand, but that's happening. And there's this idea of Christ consciousness, which some link to Christianity, some don't. And I wonder just your thoughts and musings about that, how that might relate to the astrology you're seeing. Let me start by saying this. I think this shift has been happening maybe the last like five years, but I've only seen it really in the last three-ish years, and I think that it's really coincided with Saturn. Transiting through tropical Pisces. Saturn brings rigor and discipline and, Responsibility, wherever it transits. And Pisces is all about spirituality and it's also about compassion, oneness, universal love. But Saturn isn't the only planet that's been in Pisces, so. Since I think 2011, Neptune has been transiting Pisces, and while Neptune has been in Pisces, we've seen just such a huge popularization of spiritualism often coming out in the form of what many refer to as new age. So we've seen this massive rise in yoga teacher trainings as an example, Reiki as an example. And that to me, I really credit to Neptune in Pisces. And Neptune is a very diffuse. Boundless, ethereal, mystical planet. So there's been this big drive towards mysticism that doesn't have a lot of structure. And so when Saturn entered Pisces just three years ago, well not even quite three years ago, I believe it was in March, 2023, Saturn is saying, alright. Some of this has gone too far and gotten too loose, and the spirits are just running rampant all over the place. So Saturn and Pisces is bringing people a desire for structure when it comes to spirituality and when Saturn and Neptune are together in Pisces as they have been the last few years. I think part of what we're looking at and dealing with is a collective reckoning with Godlessness. This feels like we're kind of in the downstream effects of all the consequences that have been wrought. Societally institutionally, but also from a place of not having shared moral or ethical grounding. Right? So I think we're all kind of feeling we're suffering the consequences of that in some way and feeling like, all right, things got too far. Things got too messy. Everything is just a soup and I need something to hold onto. Now. I need something that's gonna be like a firm pillar of light or something that will, will clear this energy, will clean up this mess. I mean, I think when we look out at the world, it's really obvious why there's a draw to. Spiritual organization to community that can be hopefully self-governing and nourish its members and people want to belong to something that also feels. Safe or clear as we're in such a time of crumbling, unraveling, and collapse. So I feel like I do generally about most of the impulses in the world right now is that it's complicated and it's often double-sided where there's often, and usually an organic component like consciousness looking to reunite with. Spiritual grounding and godliness that there feels something organic to that. And there also feels something, a layer of social programming, orchestration or tampering, like distorting an innate organic impulse that's there and attempting to. Draw it into a direction that will hopefully serve the quote unquote powers that be and, and the hidden, agendas. So I see both of those impulses at work. I see this very genuine desire for spiritual communion and sharing that with other people and reconnecting with God and with, A groundedness in society again. And I also see some of that being co-opted and sort of, like twisted in a way. And ultimately, I think where we're going, we are not going to be able to re recapitulate religion. In the same way as it's been done in the past, you know, the failure of religious institutions is part and parcel of what got us to where we are now. So I think there's, there will be, a revival. Of some kind and that may look different for each individual. And going back to what Miriah was saying earlier about how everyone may end up playing a different game, and it may be a game of their own choosing, I just kept thinking the whole point of a game is to have fun. That's the reason we play. That's the reason we play games. And if the game isn't fun anymore, then why are we doing it? Like, just stop playing the game if it's gotten boring and start playing a new one. So anyway, yes, I think that this, upsurge of religion is a signifier of this rebirth that. Maybe the collective unconscious is just aware of that. We're in a massive spiritual rebirth right now. And however you find that resurrection or that rejuvenation or that renewal, you know, within your own spirit, I think that maybe begins to answer the question we had earlier about, creativity and how do we live when the rules of the game no longer apply. What do you think? Well, I love what you're saying and, I know I've felt that in myself. I've felt this, calling to, I mean, I've always felt I a spiritual path, but I've certainly felt more of a calling too. Live that in my daily life in a real grounded way. And I see what you're saying with the ways that the powers that be might try to twist that and use our impulse, to gain more power in some way. And I feel like for myself, the way I look out for that is. If there's any teaching or teacher or something I'm listening to that's, teaching me to outsource my power in some way instead of listen within, that's a red flag for me. And I believe that's part of the astrology now, right. Of coming into we are our own guru, leaving the time of. Finding the guru, which I have done in my life. I've looked for the guru and very much wanted to have that guru and teacher and have really organically let that go, maybe because that's what's in the collective consciousness. But to come back to myself and my inner divine as my own guru and always checking in with what's aligned in my heart. Is that right, that there is something shifting with that sense of coming into truth of self instead of looking for it in the other? I love that. I mean, my first inclination is to say it's so subjective. You know, that some people may need to orient further towards truth of self, but others may need to recognize oh, I really led myself astray, and I need to renounce those behaviors that I used to be involved in and really find some anchor in a system or structure. That is outside of me, you know, before I can really come back to integrity in a different way. But the second response that I have to that is, yeah, Saturn entered Aries, Saturn entered Aries this year, and so did Neptune. So Saturn and Neptune have been in, Pisces was just talking about that. And in March and May of this year, 2025. They entered into Aries, and Aries is the sign of independent self identity. So with Neptune in Aries. I think I titled that in my calendar. A New God Rising. Actually, I just remembered that. Um, and I, I found it so fascinating to see this archetype show up in the world. For example, the US change the name of the Department of Defense to the Department of War. I don't know if you caught that. And so there's all this news a around, the. Emergence of war culture. And a lot of people are feeling all kinds of way about that. The way I feel about it is it's just the literal astrology, translating and like, that's Aries. Aries is the sign of war. It is the sign of battle conflict, ferocity, warriors, soldiers. And there's a way in which, you know, you can be. Upset about that, or there's a way in which you can just acknowledge that it's intrinsic to the archetypal reality. And so how can we have maybe a, a healthier or a less of a resistant attitude or relationship towards those themes that the Aries archetype encapsulates Anyway, so yes, Neptune entered Aries and Saturn also entered Aries, and it really does bring these. Evolutionary impulses into a self-based lens where when Neptune is an Aries, the central question becomes who am I? Why do I exist and what am I doing and what do I want? But when Saturn enters into areas, it says, I better get clear what I want. I better get clear who I am and I better get clear which of these paths I was born for and what is meant for me and what am I meant for, and what am I doing with my limited time and energy here, and how am I going to very, clearly and wisely start to rally the troops and point my energy into a direction so that I can achieve a certain outcome. So yeah, it's subjective in the way of, I don't know what each individual needs,'cause everybody is different. But I do think that there, it actually comes down to the title for the transit, Saturn and Neptune, coming together in Aries that I gave in the calendar is redefining reality and identity. And what's coming to me now as I share that is. When there is no objective reality anymore, it comes down to each individual. it's like, what is the image you're living in? What is the image you're embodying and whatever you live into and show up to every day. With a concentrated effort, persistence, dedication over time, that is the forge that brings reality into existence. So, yeah, that's what's landing for me as you asked that question. Yeah, it's, it's like what you were saying in the beginning about there's a lot of division online, but you're not seeing that in your reality, so you're not necessarily. Determining that the world is, just devastatingly divided these days. You can kind of, even if you did see it that way, you could maybe even decide inside of yourself, I'm not going to play into this division in my personal life, and I'm going to just. Work on expanding my consciousness to allow room for other people's differences, whether I agree with them or not. And I'm going to give people that respect and dignity to have their differences. And so you can really choose whether or not you live in a divided world, just like you were saying, taking that personal responsibility to create your subjective reality. So Virginia, you've been mentioning your calendar throughout this week. Yes. It feels like this beautiful tool to help navigate. The, chaos and change that is our world right now. Could you share a little bit about that Absolutely. Yeah. Thank you for asking and I've been mentioning it because I've been deep in it. You guys, it's a really intense project. I do it every year. It takes months and months of focused work. I mean, it's essentially like I publish a book every year and this is the one from last year. I have it right here. The title is Immersion and it's got folk art. For every month. But inside you find just like some poetic musings from me on the signs of the times, as well as a complete astrological year ahead overview. And there are interpretations for every sign so you can look for your sun and your rising signs and what's going on for you personally based on that for the year ahead. And then it has, a monthly. Grid with the transits of every single day listed alongside it. So as it Yeah. That is a book. It's this spiral bound mini planner. Like a book. Yes. It's a planner and it's a calendar and it's a book. And yeah, it's my deep dive into the mythologies that we're living into, and. Well it came up to me as you were talking last Maria, was something about, oh, you were saying about the division, like how we're not seeing division, or I'm not seeing division in my personal life, but I'm hearing about division so much online, you know, and what came to me for that is who's telling those stories? Hmm. And why are we just believing whatever stories we're telling if we're not directly experiencing them and living into them? You know? And just the power of story and the power of archetype and myth. To me, that's what astrology is all about. And so I use this calendar throughout the year to track what's occurring on that mythic. Soul archetypal level. And through that I'm able to be more aware of how that larger story of the cosmos is interweaving with my own soul story and how it's showing up in my life and in myself and in my relationships, which then gives me more agency to decide how I wanna relate to that. And more power in telling and living into my own story. So that's the calendar. Yeah. And, uh, I'll soon be revealing the title for next year in there. There's gonna be like a little free, mini calendar retreat in October. I forget the date, otherwise I would tell you right now, I think it's the third week of October, but I'll be revealing the title for 2026 then. Beautiful. Well, I have this year's calendar and I highly recommend everyone getting a calendar. And Virginia, it's been so lovely to have you on. I know we have to let you go. But thank you. I feel like you've given us so much to sit with and, guide us through what's to come, anything else you wanna share about where people can find you before we go? Just my website, which is my name, Virginia rosenberg.com. And I have a lot of regular posts on Instagram, which is also just my name, Virginia Rosenberg. So those are some places, and I really appreciate your time and your heart. Thank you for inviting me and I'm glad we did a short one today. Because sometimes I just say too much and it's like. Too intense for people. Potent. Potent. It was perfect. So maybe we can have you back. We'd love to. Yes. So it's take this little bit and you know, digest it and figure out what you think and believe. And then we'll do another one. Well thank you Virginia. Thank you everyone for listening. We'll see you next time. Thank you, Katherine. Bye Miriah. Bye bye. Make sure you subscribe, like and share the video for more content!
