I've worked in radio in the past and always have had an interest in broadcasting. The new era of podcasting excites me , as I come to realize, the benefits of the new medium. I've loads of ideas of stuff I'd like to do, stories about my own life, local history and other community events and happenings. Who knows where it will lead. The possibilities are endless.

Music In National School,( The Croppy Boy and some other school class favorites of the time,
In our early years in Primary School, in the classes of junior and senior infants and 1st class singing was part of our education. Once or twice a week, our teacher would coach us through some of the traditional songs of the time. One that stands out in my memory is the Croppy Boy , the story of a young lad who had participated in the 1798 rebellion , and what happened to him when he decided to go to confession before going off to battle.
