I do this totally on a voluntary basis and as a hobby.
I focus on mostly local events from historical, sports along with the odd solo pieces from myself ..I like to cover happenings and events that don't attract mainstream media interest.

The Cavan Kayaka Run is an an Adventure Race ,( running, kayaking and cycling discipline ) which first began in Maudabawn, Cootehill, Co Cavan in 2010. For this episode I talk to Michael Fitzpatrick, one of the main organisers of the event. We talk about the plans for this year and also take a look back at the history of the very popular event.
