Nexcast is an engaging podcast from Nexus International School, Singapore. It is led by our talented secondary learners, guided by the nurturing expertise of Mr. Kevin Bennett, our dedicated music teacher. Our mission is to dive into the world of podcasting, creating episodes that are not only entertaining and informative but also deeply connected to the values and interests of our school and the wider community. Shogi takes off at Nexus!

Originally from Hungary, David’s professional journey has taken him around the world, from the Netherlands and Germany to Greece, Turkey, and finally Singapore. David is multilingual and has worked for several years in Singapore as an English lecturer, bringing a deep understanding of language acquisition from both academic and personal perspectives. He believes that digital tools and a vibrant classroom atmosphere are essential for enhancing learners’ knowledge both inside and outside the classroom. His journey in learning and teaching languages has kindled a love for learning that he eagerly shares with his students, inspiring them to achieve their dreams.
In addition to being an enthusiastic English teacher, David enjoys playing Shogi (Japanese chess) and game development. His eldest daughter is also enrolled at Nexus.
