South African singer Tyla, gained international attention posting a back to camera dance on her TikTok account. Performing her song "Water" at live performances, users reposted videos of themselves dancing the choreography. This became known as a "#waterdancechallenge", and caught the Recording Academy's attention to give a Grammy nomination in a new category!
