Lydia Carpenter and her husband are first generation farmers in Manitoba, balancing farm production with environmental considerations. Some would say they have unconventional ways of looking at agriculture. A busload of students and researchers from the University of Manitoba travelled to their farm to learn first-hand about their practices.
