In 2021, Oliver Stone released the docuseries JFK: Destiny Betrayed. In this episode, I will cover Episode 2 of this series.
⚠️ This episode discusses the autopsy. Please proceed with caution.
➡️ If Oswald was the worst rogue in American history since John Wilkes Booth, wouldn't he have been better protected? Wouldn't they have recorded every interrogation for posterity?
➡️ If Oswald murdered Kennedy for political reasons, once he got an audience, wouldn't he have given his manifesto? Instead, he says, "I'm a patsy!"
➡️ The chain of custody for CE 399, the so-called magic bullet, is nucking futs. No court would accept it.

In this episode of con-sara-cy theories, host Sara Causey discusses the JFK Destiny Betrayed series and current events, including the recent spate of celebrity deaths, particularly those in their 70s. She mentions the shutdown of CERN's LHC on June 29 and its potential impact on time. Sara also delves into the JFK assassination, questioning the official narrative and the authenticity of evidence like the "magic bullet" CE 399. She highlights discrepancies in the autopsy findings and the handling of evidence, suggesting a cover-up. The episode also touches on the broader implications of U.S. foreign policy and the influence of intelligence agencies.

Welcome to con-sara-cy theories. Are you ready to ask questions you shouldn't and find information you're not supposed to know? Well, you're in the right place. Here is your host, Sara Causey.
Hello, hello, and thanks for tuning in. In tonight's episode, I will be covering episode two of the JFK Destiny Betrayed series. As is so often the case these days, before I even get into the meat and potatoes of this episode, we should discuss current events because we most certainly do live in interesting times. On the first of this month, I released the episode "Is CERN Fucking Up Time? On June 29 in conjunction with the beginning of a Mercury retrograde and the night of a full moon, they shut down their LHC, so it's like, are we timeline jumping? Are things getting better? Are things getting worse? To be determined, I guess. I've noticed quite an interesting spate of celebrity deaths that have occurred right around the time that they shut down, and then in the days after. And it seems like quite a few of these people are in their 70s. You know, there there have been times when it seems like a lot of my fellow exers got wiped out. You would just see people primarily in their 40s and 50s and think these folks are way too young to just be falling over dead. It seems like the celebrity deaths that have happened in recent days have primarily targeted people in their 70s, which, in my opinion, that's still too young for somebody to fall over dead. I remember Roger Moore saying that it's like the older you get, the more you're like, that's too young. He would see a 90-year-old's obituary and think, 90, that is way too young to die. I read that Bonnie Tyler, the singer, I mean, a huge her music was like a huge kind of early '80s Gen X staple. She died at the age of 75. I'm recording this episode in the early evening of July 13th, and it was announced, I guess, in the wee small hours of this morning, that Sam Neill had passed away at 78. Randolph Mantooth, who was in that old '70s series *Emergency* he died at 80. There have been some younger folks too. There's a Broadway actor named Josh Grissetti who died at only 44. Lauren Bennett, who was the singer on the hit song "Remember L M F A O Party Rock Anthem, she was only 30-six. On june 30, Victor Willis, who was part of the Village People, died, and he was only 70-four. And they said that it was a quote short but aggressive illness. So we don't even really know what that means. You have the old turtle Mitch McConnell doing hostage-type photographs, proof of life, holding a newspaper, and we're told that he has vanished due to a fall and then subsequent pneumonia. The Daily Beast reports MAGA calls BS on Mitch McConnell's proof of life stunt conspiracy theory mode. They are poking holes in McConnell's staff's version. Well, I'm no MAGA conspiracy theorist, but it's one of those things like it could be fake. It totally could be. It doesn't even look particularly genuine. It could have been taken at any time, and it also could have been AI. He he's always looked like a weird little turtle to me. So it just looks like a turtle in kind of a gingham shirt, in something that could or could not be a hospital bed, with a woman standing there with him, and then he's awkwardly holding on to a newspaper. If this was in a satirical movie, we would all be laughing. And last but not least, old Lindsey fucking Graham, the war hawk who never met a war that he didn't like, never met a war that he wasn't willing to send your kids and grandkids into because he just loves the war machine. He passed away, and it was like it was one of those those things, you know. When you saw the breaking news, it was like, oh shit, like he. and he was 70-one, so you you didn't you didn't think like oh I wonder what happened. You just kind of immediately knew like some shit's gone down, and he pissed off the wrong people, and the details are crazy. It's sort of like okay, if Mitch McConnell the turtle making a bizarre hostage-esque proof of life photograph and putting it on social media belongs in our satirical movie, Warhawk Senator who gets eventually eaten by the Wehrmacht machine itself could also very.
Easily go in our satirical movie, except here we are in this country living with the actual results of it all. So Lindsey Graham goes to a supposedly top secret drone production facility in Kyiv, in the Ukraine. I know we're all supposed to call it Kyiv now or whatever, but I mean, I to me it's always been Kyiv and Yagavro Paruski. Like I, I speak some Russian, so to me, my default sitting is Kyiv. Sorry. So he goes to this top secret drone production facility in Kyiv, and it's the Skyfall drone production facility. Remember, there was a fucking James Bond movie about Skyfall, so he goes there to observe the manufacturing of heavy vampire bomber drones, Shrike FPV drones, and p1 dash Sun Shaheed interceptors. Try to say all of those five times fast. Graham praises the facility's advanced technology and urges a strong U.S. Ukraine defense partnership. He gives a detailed briefing on the manufacturing processes, and he gets to see new technological solutions. We're told soon to reach the battlefield, as well as training programs at the Skyfall Academy. At any point, we just imagine seeing Blofeld come out of the shadows, or I'm trying to remember. Seems like Javier Bardem was somebody called Silva, if I'm remembering correctly. Like we just we imagine some Bond villain coming from the shadows and all of this. So Graham described the enterprise as state of the art and declared that it would be a huge mistake, a quote huge mistake for the United States not to build a technological alliance with the Ukraine regarding unmanned systems. Okay. put put that on one side. So the other side is hours later, after he takes this daytime tour, this drone facility based in Kyiv was among the military industrial sites targeted in a large overnight Russian missile and drone strike, and then Lindsey Graham dies, and everybody's like, "Well, it could have been a stroke. It could have been a heart attack. Now we know that the heart attack-I don't want to say G U N on the air, so to spell it-the the heart attack G U N exists. This this came out. This has come out before Congress. It's public information now. In the write up for this episode, I will drop a link to the clip that you can see. It's available on C-SPAN, but the Charlie India Alpha has a heart attack weapon that was a covert Cold War weapon because you know we're supposed to believe that they did these crazy things during the Cold War, but like they would never do anything like that again, and it was designed to operate with a dart of a frozen neurotoxin. The dart melts inside the body; it doesn't leave any trace, but like a tiny red mark that could be anything-a nick from shaving, a mosquito bite-and then it induces a fatal heart attack. This was shown to the public in 1975 by Senator Frank Church during the Church Committee hearings. So this is not the theory. No, I mean it's been out there in in public view. As of today, what I've heard for the quote unquote official cause of death for Lindsey Graham was that it was an aortic dissection due to cardiovascular disease. Nothing to see here. People move along, move along. IRL, what actually causes an aortic dissection? It can be things like hardening of the arteries. It can also be genetic conditions like Marfan syndrome or Ehlers-Danlos, you can have a pre-existing aneurysm, a congenital heart defect, a traumatic injury like a car crash, for example, or even just a sudden spike in your blood pressure. So if you're powerlifting or you're using a stimulant like Coke, that can, for some people, trigger an aortic dissection. Now, what really happened? You know, that's anybody's guess. But I would highly doubt that it was just a run-of-the-mill oops-a-dayzy Granddad had an aortic dissection and was DRT. Kind of doubt that that's what happened. As far as CERN, more specifically, and kind of the timeline that we're on, I've heard several people just anecdotally saying that they feel like the days are longer. They don't feel like time has been as sped up as it was pre june 29 Now that could be the placebo effect. Fairness, we don't know. I myself have really not felt frantic or frenetic.
I haven't felt like I've got to do this and I got to do that and I got to hurry and I got to rush and every everything is behind the eight ball. And oh my God, I can't believe it's already Thursday and I can't believe it's already this month. I can't I can't believe it's already 5p.m I haven't been having those feelings. Everything does to me feel a little bit more mellow. It feels a little bit more like, hey, it's gonna happen when it's gonna happen, and that's fine. Does that have anything to do with CERN? I don't know. Possibly, possibly not. We do know that they mess around with the fabric of space time, so it's just one of those things to put in your in your collection of this is possible. It's not necessarily the truth. It's just a possibility. In in any event, somebody decided that old Lindsey Graham did did not need to be at the party any longer. So, and then of all things, Skyfall. Really, I mean, talk about predictive programming. Really, I think it would be good for me to do an episode about Skyfall and then to do another episode about Specter, because Skyfall, the villain Silva, has created this elaborate cyber plot, and he wants to get captured, and he wants all of the things that M has ever done in secret to be brought to the light. He wants there to be a public inquiry so that he can physically get to her in person and pop pop her. Then also, when we think about the next film, Specter, it's like yes, it's it's bringing Blofeld back into the movies and kind of confronting some things from James Bond's past. But there's this new character C, and there's a power struggle that goes on between M and C, because C is coming from this privately backed, privately backed cyber policing. Imagine that a privately backed joint intelligence service that's going to merge together MI five and MI six, and C is the one pushing for Britain to join this global surveillance and intelligence initiative called the Nine Eyes, which sounds very much like the kind of thing that we're seeing in real life with an organization like Palantir. I also, at some point, need to get into some of the work that Whitney Webb has done because I heard her on a podcast recently, and I was listening to the clip on somebody else's channel, so I'm not sure which podcast she was being interviewed for. I would like to find it though, because she makes mention that Tefree Tepstein is sort of like the playbook from the '90s and the '80s. This idea of having a physical in-person honey trap, getting wealthy people and hyper elites into sex scandals, filming it, making photographs, getting hardcore blackmail on these people. But now you don't need somebody like Tefree Tepstein. That was the old way of getting the job done. But Whitney argues that you don't need anybody like that now, because what you do instead is you use technology. You can simply look at somebody's data and find incriminating or embarrassing information to blackmail them with. And if they don't have anything, you plant it. Doesn't have to be real anymore. It doesn't have to actually be photos and videos from an actual honey trap. It can just simply be we planted the data there because we want to get you and ruin you. That's chilling, absolutely chilling. So here we are. Has CERN fucked up time? Maybe. Are we on a timeline where a bunch of 70-something boomers are dying off? It seems to be that way. Is time itself just day in and day out going a little bit slower? Maybe we're catching our breath. Possibly. I've been feeling that way. I'll tell you something else before it slips my mind. I have noticed that, like things that it's like health conditions or bug bites, insect bites, things of that nature that might have typically manifested in one way are not always manifesting the way that they did. And I'll give you an example. I'll also drop a link to this blog post where I I posted some pictures of what happened to me. You know, there's this weird parasite going around where it's like if you eat lettuce or raw vegetables, you could get this parasite and have diarrhea for weeks.
They're telling people like just stay away from raw produce that you don't really know where it came from, and make sure that you're cooking everything thoroughly because you might get this insane diarrhea parasite. I've heard that it's because the powers that be are trying to develop stabby wabbies for parasites, so that way you now have to come back and get a stabby wabby as a preventative. Against stomach parasites, I've also heard conspiracy theories that Bill Gates and his various organizations are dropping infected mosquitoes and ticks on the population. Now I don't know if that's true. I can certainly tell you that where I am in the lower part of the Midwest, it's felt more like Florida this summer. It's been constantly stormy, wet, hot, and humid. We are not having a drought, and thank God for that, because droughts and wildfires come with their own crises. But it has been so swampy, and we have had terrible mosquitoes and ticks and just bugs in general. At one point in time, my lower half was just riddled with tick bites, especially from little tiny seed ticks. It was horrible. I contracted a fiddleback bite on my ankle. Now it did not manifest for me the way that they normally do. Normally, you get the rotted skin and it turns black, and it has to be debrided by a doctor or a surgeon. Mine never turned black. Mine developed a weird, hard shell. It was kind of a pinky, fleshy-colored shell, and it was hard, like keratin, like the horns of a goat or a sheep. But then, whenever that hard keratin scab fell off, the skin underneath it was gross. It was not black, but it was red and purple, and it was weeping a clear fluid. I go to the doctor, and initially I get misdiagnosed by a PA who looks like she's all of 10 with a poison ivy, and I'm like, "So you're telling me it's poison ivy with two fang marks, and it's nowhere else on my body. It's in this one very specific spot. And she's like, "Well, you said you like to walk and you like to go hiking. You could have just brushed up against one little area of poison ivy. And I'm like, "Right. So finally, when I got with a doctor who was like an actual doctor and above the age of 10 or 15, I was able to get a proper diagnosis, and I found a news story about it, but it was from all the way back in 2017, and it was a woman living in Michigan who had the same thing happen to her that it was a fiddleback bite. She was bitten by a brown recluse, but it initially was misdiagnosed as poison ivy. And finally, when she got a correct diagnosis, she could get some treatment. But I had to go on antibiotics to help prevent secondary infection and get a medicated ointment. If you are, and I hope never that you are, but if someone is bitten by a black widow, there's an antivenom for that, and it is extremely serious that you get medical attention. For brown recluse bites, there's not an antivenom, at least not that's available in the United States. Sue, that means you basically are just stuck with wound care, trying to keep it clean and trying to keep a secondary infection like staph from getting into the wound, and it sucks. It's painful. It itches like crazy. I'm still not all the way healed, so I just have noticed some weird things like that happening, where it's like a bug explosion. The weather is different. They're talking about a super El Nino, like we may wind up having feet of snow this winter. You don't know because in Oklahoma, people try to predict the winter and they almost never get it right. But that's what we're hearing anyway: is that we could this winter have a super El Nino that could dump absolute craploads of snow in places that don't typically get crap loads of snow. Not a guarantee that that will happen. I would just simply say that, especially when it comes to the healthcare system, like you have to be your own best advocate because a lot of these people anymore don't seem to give a fuck. It's kind of like cattle. You come in, hurry up.
We'll we'll stamp you with a branding iron, and then we want you the fuck out of here. But you don't get a lot of treatment that inspires confidence. It doesn't feel like a lot of them care, and it's on you to say, "I don't believe that I have poison ivy in one strategic spot with fang marks in the middle of it. Okay, and if that person doesn't listen to you, go somewhere else so that you can save your own life. Because the onus is really going to be on you to do that. I would say be prepared for the winter because we just don't know. It could be mild. It could be 70 degrees all winter, or we could be 30 degrees with a crapload of snow. To be determined. Now, at last, let's take a deep breath, take a take a drink of our frosty beverage of choice as a palate cleanser, and we'll saddle up and take this ride with JFK. Destiny betrayed.
Decoding the unicorn, a new look at Dag Hammerschold, was awarded best biography at the 2026 American Book Fest International Book awards in Los Angeles. Sara's follow-up project, Simply DAG. The private man in a public and dangerous office will be available anywhere Amazon books are sold on July 20-nine. And now back to the show.
If you did not catch the review I did of episode one, I'll drop a link to that in the write-up. For this episode, I would recommend that you go back and listen to that if you haven't already, because this series kind of builds one on the other. So, episode two begins with the autopsy. JFK's body is brought back to Washington and taken to Bethesda for the autopsy. Oliver Stone asks Cyril Wecht, "Would Milton Halpern from New York have been a good choice. Milton Halpern, by the way, was the chief medical examiner for New York City from 1954 to 1973. In 1974, he became the professor emeritus at the New York University School of Medicine. He was very well known and well regarded. So Cyril Wegg says that he had been told directly by Milton that he already had a bag packed and had consulted with two other of the top forensic specialists to see if they would be available as well. The idea being that surely somebody with ample experience and a good reputation would be chosen to conduct the autopsy of the deceased president of the United States. Legally speaking, the autopsy should have been performed in Dallas. But Earl Rose, the pathologist in Dallas, was pushed against a wall, and JFK's body was taken illegally from Dallas. Two military pathologists who had never performed an autopsy on somebody who was the victim of a pop pop, let alone somebody who who had just been popped by a boomstick. Two people who had never done that were the ones chosen to do this incredibly important autopsy. Dr. Gary Aguilar says that they realize they're in over their heads, so they call Pierre Fink. However, Fink hadn't performed an autopsy in more than two years. Malcolm Perry and Kemp Clark have a press conference in Dallas. Clark says the throat wound looked like an entrance wound. This is Douglas Horn now. He says Kemp Clark says that JFK had a gaping wound in the right occipital parietal area. This is consistent with an exit wound, and he makes this clear in the press conference. Their statements indicate a pop popper from the front, but none of the news footage has survived. Assistant Press Secretary Malcolm Kilduff's media statement, where he points to the temple has survived, and you can see him doing that. He makes a gesture that there was a wound at the temple. Douglas Horn still talking. He says we do have a transcript of what was said at the press conference. It's White House transcript 1327 dash C. As Horne says, it's a very important document because, according to him, the Shush Service confiscated the videotapes from the local TV stations. We're told that the Shush Service also lied to the Warren Commission and said there was no video or transcripts of this news conference. However, one clip has been found of Dr. Perry recorded after the press conference, where he confirms that he saw a large wound in the back of the head. Audrey Bell, a nurse at Parkland, tells the story of Dr. Perry saying that he was already getting pressure from the people at Bethesda to change entrance wounds to exit wounds. Now this is Dr. Donald Miller speaking. He says he knew Dr. Perry when they later worked together. Miller says that he and Perry had a good professional working relationship, and that he was curious about Perry's role as one of the Parkland doctors after Kennedy was murdered. And Miller would try to get Perry into conversations about it, and he refused to ever discuss it. So Miller tells the story that one night after they had operated together for several hours on a complex case, they were sitting in the surgeon's lounge, just the two of them. They're having some coffee and relaxing, and so he asks Perry once again about the president's neck wound, and this time Perry said to him, "It wasn't that it was an entrance wound. Unquestionably, it was an entrance wound. Perry would testify in front of the House Select Committee on Pop Pops a year later to say that the neck wound was consistent with an exit wound.
Miller says that one of the main reasons that Perry changed his testimony and publicly agreed that it was an exit wound, was because he thought that the shush service had put pressure on him, and he thought that the person doing that was Elmer Moore. So, in other words, Miller is saying that when he and Dr. Perry were alone, allegedly Perry says, "Yeah, what happened to the throat was an entrance wound, which would tell us that there was a pop popper from the front. It couldn't possibly couldn't possibly have been Oswald in the book depository from." Behind the whole time, but then when he gets out in public, he changes it to say, "No, it must have been an exit wound. And we're told that he got pressure from the shush service, and more specifically, that person doing the pressuring was Elmer Moore. He apparently was also in charge of getting the doctors at Parkland, in addition to Dr. Perry, to change their testimony and agree that there was no large hole in the back of Kennedy's head, and the wound in the neck was actually an exit wound. In 1970, Elmer Moore was the head of the Shush Service Office in Seattle, and a graduate student named Jim Gockenauer became friends with him, and he admitted to Gockenauer that he regretted putting pressure on Dr. Perry. We go now to James Gockenauer himself when he says, "I asked him directly, 'Did you pressure Dr. Perry?' Moore says, "Well, I was ordered to. Moore tells him that he had been ordered to put this pressure on by Inspector Kelly, as in Thomas Kelly, shush service liaison to the Warren Commission. He was supposed to go and talk to Perry and convince him that it could be either an exit wound or an entry wound, but not an entry wound for certain. And Gockenauer says he finds it interesting because he's admitting to doing something that would be at the very least, pretty darn close to a felony. Charles Crenshaw was a third-year resident. He was at the ER at Parkland that day. Crenshaw also said in public that he felt the wounds in JFK had originated from the front. We go now to Dr. Gary Aguilar. Crenshaw wrote a book, *Conspiracy of Silence* in the wake of Stone's film *JFK* saying that Kennedy's wounds were not consistent with a shot from above and behind. Crenshaw says in an interview, "For the rest of my life, I will always know he was popped from the front. We now move to Arlen Specter, the man who decides that bullets can be magical. Spector was placed in charge of medical evidence, which seems pretty odd to me. Why would you have a lawyer do that? Why would you not have gotten a medical doctor? And there are medical doctors degreed with law degrees. They're dual degreed. Remember, I talked not long ago about going down the Dan and Betty Broderick rabbit hole, and that was one of the ways that he made his money was to get dual degree at the Ivy League level for having a JD and an MD, so he could do malpractice suits. It's like, why would you not pick somebody who has some kind of a medical background if you felt it necessary to have a lawyer, why would you not look for a dual degreed MDJD to do it? Why would you go get Arlen Specter? So Spector questions Humes and Boswell from the Bethesda autopsy, and they say that two shots hit JFK, one in the neck and one in the lower rear skull. Later, when they are interviewed by the ARRB, Humes and Boswell admit to meeting with Spector eight to 10 times in advance of their testimony, and the ARRB is a reference to the Pop Pop Records Review Board. The wound drawings in the Warren Report were created in the days before that testimony, and were not based on the autopsy photos. Harold Ridberg, who was head of the medical illustration department at Bethesda, was given verbal instruction by Humes and Boswell, and they told him, "We'll draw. We'll tell you what to draw. You you are going to be the illustrator, but we'll tell you what to put in there. Not you looking at the photographs, duplicating it, but we tell you what you're supposed to draw.
Clint Hill is the only shush service agent to run to the presidential limo, and he said there was blood and brain tissue hurtling back over the trunk as he approached the president. He saw a large wound in the rear of the skull, which he could see through with no brain there. Douglas Horn is speaking again. He says O'Neill and Sebert are portrayed unfavorably by Arlen Specter because they provide evidence contradicting the single bullet theory. Neither one is asked to testify for the Warren Commission. Their written notes become classified. In 1997, their depositions were taken by the ARRB. We go back now to Douglas Horn. Both were shown the autopsy photos, and both say that the photos do not match what they saw at the autopsy. O'Neill says the photo looks like it's been doctored. He elaborates and says, "I don't mean the photo necessarily has been doctored. It looks like the head has been doctored. And if you read the transcript, it says this looks like. It's been doctored in some way. He thinks that maybe the doctoring meant that some things had been pushed back in because it looks more towards the end than at the beginning. So that's kind of a convoluted way of saying that he thought someone had pulled a flap of JFK's scalp over the head wound to disguise it. Sebert draws a diagram for the ARRB that showed a wound in the back of JFK's head that's closer to what the doctors saw at Parkland. Sebert said there was a piece about the size of a three by five index card that was missing, and that was from a 2005 interview he did with C-SPAN in the HSCA. report, we're told that the 26 people present at the autopsy disagreed with the observations of the doctors at Parkland. All of those interviewed who attended the autopsy corroborated the general location of the wounds, as depicted in the photos, with none having differing accounts. Now we're back to Dr. David Mantic. Oliver Stone asks him about the declassified affidavits and what they say in terms of differences between the doctors at Parkland and what they saw versus witnesses at the Bethesda autopsy and what they saw. He replies, not only were we allowed to see their statements, but we were allowed to see the sketches where they had drawn the big hole in the back of the head, and this was the total opposite of what the House Select Committee had told us. When the ARRB came along, the witness statements and diagrams came out. The witnesses at the autopsy all agreed with the doctors at Dallas that the defect involved the rear of the head. Yet there's a summary statement basically misrepresenting that truth. They basically lied about what was there. So I've put in my notes I will be much more forceful than that. They did lie. They did misrepresent. I don't think there's any basically or any qualifying language that needs to be added to it. In my opinion, they lied, and I'm sure they did it on purpose. The official autopsy photo of Kennedy's head makes it look like nothing is missing, and that's true. If you look at the photo, it looks like nothing is missing, yet a piece of his skull did not even arrive until after the autopsy was over with. So we go back now to Dr. David Mantic again. The Harper fragment was a piece of fresh skull bone that was found in Dealey Plaza, not on the day of the pop pop, but later by Billy Harper. Now to Dr. Gary Aguilar, it was found in a position where the foxtrot Bravo India said was to the left and rear of where JFK was when he was murdered. It was then taken by this medical student to one of his professors. They looked at it and said it looks like a piece of occipital bone. It measured approximately three by two inches, and therefore would have fit neatly in the rear skull wound visualized by Dr. McClelland. The bone was given to the bureau on the 25th after the autopsy report had been written by Dr. Humes, in turn the bureau gives it to Kennedy's personal physician, Admiral Berkeley. At which point it disappears. All we have to go on now are the pictures of it taken in Dallas.
As the documentary asks, if the head was mostly filled in with bone fragments from the limousine. Where does the Harper fragment fit in? I've additionally written in my notes. To me, this idea is crazy. I don't think there's any way that the photos were created and the head was reconstructed just using bone fragments. That seems so absurd to me. When we think about the memo that David Lifton finds that inspires him to write best evidence about how surgery was performed on the top of Kennedy's head by the time he makes it to Bethesda, and then we think about the stories of John Liggett, the so-called wonderkind mortuary worker, we also think about David Lifting finding evidence of postmortem bruising where Kennedy's body had likely been manhandled. It just doesn't seem plausible to me that his skull was merely filled in with bone fragments. I find it harder to believe that than to believe that there was some kind of chicanery taking place. At this point, Stone shows a clip of mr. X from his movie JFK. You may remember mr. X was played by Donald Sutherland in the movie. mr. X is saying stories about Oswald, Ruby. Cuba, the mafia-it keeps everybody guessing like some kind of parlor game. Now, this also makes me think of Richard Condon's novel *Winter Kills* I did a podcast episode about that earlier. I will drop a link to it. It's been some time back. It made me think of *Winter Kills* because that's one of the themes of the novel, and then also of the bizarre film adaptation that was made, the main character Nick is trying to solve his brother Tim's murder, but he just goes from one rabbit hole to another to another, and everybody points the finger of blame at somebody else. And as the story goes on, the fingers of blame just become more and more absurd. In 1951, Kennedy takes a seven-week trip to the Middle East and Asia, accompanied by Patricia and Bobby, two of his siblings. During their time in Vietnam, JFK wanted to meet with Edmund Gullion. Now, according to Richard Mahoney, this experience becomes one of the most important experiences in Kennedy's pre-presidential career, war was going on between France and the Viet Minh, and 80% of their military material was coming from the United States. Kennedy wants to see what's actually going on. Now we go to Philip Mullenbeck. When he met with French generals, he was given the impression that the war was going well. His opinion changes when he meets with Giulian because he tells Kennedy that the French are actually losing the war and that the war was unwinnable. In fact, he said if the U.S. were to replace the French, the U.S. would also lose the war. We go now to Lisa Pease, because Goulion made JFK understand that nothing short of independence would ever win in Vietnam, and if independence had to come at the hand of the communists, they would go with the communists rather than stay a colony of any independent force. Gillian's warning that America was backing an imminent French defeat caused Kennedy to begin a six-year crusade to formulate an alternative foreign policy that opposed the confrontational, with us or against us mentality that had been advocated by Harry Truman. Truman got away from FDR's strategy of cooperation with the USSR, creating a worldwide Cold War face-off that was later amplified by Eisenhower and John Foster Dulles, and I'm just going to butt in for a second and say, like, it's important for us to remember that the brothers Dulles plural had important roles during the Eisenhower years. You had Allen Dulles, who was the DCI of the Charlie India Alpha, and then you also have John Foster Dulles, who's the U.S. Secretary of State. We go now back to Richard Mahoney. In 1953, JFK sends a letter to John Foster Dulles, who was then Secretary of State, asking him 47 questions about American support for France in Vietnam, and one of those questions was, "What specific evidence is there that France is winning the war? I've put in my notes. Can you imagine a politician doing that now, and like being legit about it? Not not it being, I'm going to mean tweet you or I'm going to do all of this for the cameras.
Like I'm writing you a sincere letter, and I want to know where's the evidence for this, Dulles later provides a response that was codenamed Operation Vulture. So then, Vice President Nixon was the main lobbyist for this air operation in Congress. The air cover to try to save the French resulted in Ben Few in spring of 1954. Vulture also included the possibility of dropping two or three atomic bombs. We go now to Aaron Good. U.S. leadership, John Foster Dulles in particular, took the initiative to offer the French the use of nuclear weapons, and even the French themselves said this is going too far for us, we don't want to be a party to this. JFK spoke on the Senate floor in opposition to Operation Vulture in JFK's own words from April 6, 1954. No amount of American military assistance in Indochina can conquer an enemy which is everywhere and at the same time nowhere, an enemy of the people, which has the sympathy and covert support of the people. His speech is excellent. I will go back and try to see if I can find the text of it again, and I'll drop a link to it in the show notes for this. It's absolutely worth your time to read the full speech. When Eisenhower could not get the British to sign on to this operation, he rejected it, and as Gullion predicted, France lost its war. JFK supported Adlai Stevenson in his speech at the Biltmore Hotel on September 21, 1956. He notes the determination of people to control their national destinies, and in my. Opinion: The tragic failure of both Republican and Democratic administrations since World War II to comprehend the nature of this revolution and its potentialities for good and evil has reaped a bitter harvest today, and it is by rights and by necessity a major foreign policy campaign issue that has nothing to do with anti-communism. So, Adeline. Adali Stevenson kind of craps a brick about this. He thinks that Kennedy has gone too far, and his office wired that JFK needs to stop talking about foreign policy if he's going to continue helping Adlai Stevenson's campaign. So we fast forward now to 1957, and we're back to Richard Mahoney. Algeria becomes the last stand for France. In its imperium, there were about 1.2 million French citizens who were residents in North Africa generally. In Algeria, these people are called peed-noirs, and they were completely behind the war effort, they threatened French politicians, and what happened in the French officer corps was very critical and very dangerous. After the defeat in Vietnam, a secret organization called the OAS threatened the government in Paris that if there was any withdrawal or any negotiations with the Algerian nationalists, the government would be overthrown. The war in Algeria turns into a point counterpoint of escalation and violence. In Algeria, the U.S. supplies weapons through NATO, but not to the extent of Vietnam. The war becomes so violent that the Americans stand aside. They supported France generally, but didn't want to get involved. Kennedy expressed his disagreement with Eisenhower and John Foster Dulles. He attacks the governments of both the U.S. and France for not seeing the echoes of the 1954 French collapse in Vietnam. Again, in JFK's own words, I am introducing a resolution which I believe outlines the best hopes for peace in the settlement in Algeria to achieve a solution which will recognize the independent personality of Algeria and establish the basis for a settlement interdependent with France and the neighboring nations. We go now to Robert Rakoff. Very few people, and none with his prominence, had been willing to say what JFK said, which was a challenge to default Eurocentrism in American foreign policy, to challenge the European first mentality, especially toward conflicts in the colonial world. And Kennedy could even say, "This isn't even doing France any favors. I'm going to butt in and say that, in terms of American prominence, yes, that's true. In terms of the world at large, it isn't, because one of the things that I want to do at some point, I have so many things that I'm working on, so many projects in various phases of development. But one of the things that I want to point out is some of the best things about what Kennedy was doing with foreign policy have an origin story that comes much earlier than him.
So it's actually not fair to say that nobody else and nobody with Kennedy's prominence was making these kinds of arguments because Dag was making those kinds of arguments long before. Quite frankly, I mean, he had he had said the world is moving away from Eurocentrism. You cannot say that Europe is the center of the universe anymore because it isn't. You have these nations that are gaining their independence, and they want to be seen and heard, and they deserve to be. We go now to RFK Jr. and we want to just remember that all of this was recorded before he became, I don't know, co-opted or whatever the fuck into the MAGA movement, which I guess he's calling it the Maha movement, which I'm not even really sure what that consists of. Anyway, he says that speech earned him the vitriol not only of Republicans like Nelson Rockefeller, Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan, etc. but also Democrats like Adlai Stevenson, because they saw the colonial empire as the only thing that was holding the European economy together, and Europe was the bulwark against communism. So the U.S. is expected to support their colonial aspirations and ambitions in Africa. My uncle said, "No, we shouldn't be doing that. That in the long run, it's going to weaken us, and in any event, it's against every American ideal. We should be supporting democracy wherever it pops up in the world. Now we go back to Richard Mahoney. Joseph Kennedy took JFK aside and surprisingly said to him, "One day people are going to see that you really knew what you were talking about, and in fact, that's what happened. The Fourth Republic fell. De Gaulle came in, and he immediately initiated talks with the Algerian nationalists. In Indonesia, Sukarno had fought a long battle against the Dutch, partly as a reaction to the Charlie India Alpha overthrow of democratic governments in Guatemala. Ramallah and Iran, Sukarno and other third world leaders arranged a conference at Bandung, Indonesia, in 1955, and this begins what is known as the Non-Aligned Movement. Oliver Stone is talking now to Lisa Pease. Stone asks, "How did Kennedy's approach to the Non-Aligned Movement differ from Dulles? And Pease responds. John Foster Dulles said that the policy of neutrality was immoral. John Foster Dulles and Allen Dulles came from a Christian background, fucking laughable, and they said what they had to say that was good enough. They said that what they had to say. I need to put the emphasis on that differently. They said that what they had to say it was good enough for the rest of the world that they knew more than the president did, and they were doing things that they did not tell Eisenhower during his administration. That's a theme, isn't it? We see that again certainly when JFK takes office in 1958. Indonesian military dissidents rebelled against Sukarno, and at Eisenhower's direction, the Charlie India Alpha initiated plans to assist them in overthrowing their president. We go now to Bradley Simpson. The U.S. under John Foster Dulles and Allen Dulles saw support for the rebels as a way to weaken Sukarno and potentially break up the archipelago and weaken the Indonesian Communist Party. For more than a year, the U.S. carried out what was up to that point the largest and most destructive covert operation of the Asian Cold War, in which 1000s of U.S. troops were involved and millions of dollars in weapons and supplies were given to the regional rebel, to the regional rebels, and 1000s of people were killed. A Charlie India Alpha pilot, Alan Pope, was shot down and then exposed U.S. involvement, and the coup failed. We go back now to Robert Rakoff. Kennedy, looking at the broad scope of American history and foreign policy, was fundamentally neutral. World War One was the great exception until World War II, he saw nothing wrong with it. He could also draw from the experiences he had traveling in the Middle East in the 1950s, and from the example of Ireland during World War II, which had achieved a difficult and controversial neutrality. Kennedy's interest in self-determination for the Third World led him to become chairman of the U.S. Senate African Affairs Subcommittee in 1958, we go back now to RFK Jr. We had a delegation from Kenya come to our house, and the head was Thomas Mboya, who was a labor leader.
Around 1959, the British said to Kenya, "We will leave and give you five years to figure out how to rule this country. Mboya looked around and said, "There's not a single black child in this country who has a college degree. He wrote letters to every college in America, and 100 of them committed to give scholarships to one Kenyan child. JFK was so impressed that he gave him $100,000 to bring the kids over. Kennedy becomes the man to see for visiting African dignitaries during the 1960 presidential campaign, JFK mentioned Africa nearly 500 times. On the night of the election, the Algerian rebels listened via radio, hoping that Kennedy would win. It came as a shock to many, including Eisenhower and Nixon, when Kennedy won by a narrow victory. We return now to Dealey Plaza. The JFK case was a mass of confusion. The Warren Commission's conclusion about the firing sequence differed from both the Foxtrot Bravo India and the Charlie India Alpha versions. The Warren report has one bullet going through Kennedy and Governor Colony, another misses the car, hitting James Taige. The final shot hits Kennedy in the head. The bureau concluded that all three bullets struck inside the car: two hit Kennedy and one hit Connally. The Charlie India Alpha analysis said that the first shot didn't come from the sixth floor window, and that two pop poppers were involved. Their photographic analysis, based on the Zapruder film, was closely held. Records show that it went only to director John McCone. Like the bureau analysis, the Warren Commission either never received it or they chose to ignore it. We return now to Dr. David Mantic, and he says the Warren Commission put itself in a straitjacket. They could not possibly allow for more than three shots because four shots or more would have clearly indicated a conspiracy, and they were not going to go there. Dr. Cyril wecked when Oswald, under the Warren Commission conclusion, had the best opportunity. It's a lineup, and as the car is approached on Houston Street, then getting closer and closer, there's Oswald. The motorcade is coming right at him, but he waits until the cars turn and they're going down Elm Street at a diagonal downward. This vision is partially blocked by foliage, and that's when you shoot. So somehow the first. Shot, which he should have been better prepared for, he misses. Then the second shot is the one that ultimately goes into Kennedy's back and produces seven wounds in him and Connally. And then the third shot hits Kennedy in the head. As they reflect on this into March and April of 1964, they were faced with a seemingly impossible physical incongruity, because they had a problem with the chronology of the Zapruder film, which showed that Connally is hit about one and a half seconds after Kennedy is hit. The problem was the best marksman they could find, not worrying about repositioning and hitting a moving target. 2.3 seconds for this piece of junk, the most inferior weapon of its genre, the Mannlicher Carcano, now with 2.3 seconds versus one and a half seconds. Arlen Specter gives birth to the single bullet theory. What if one bullet made all seven wounds? What if one went into Kennedy's back and came out of his neck, but then also went into Connolly. Mark Lane dubs it the magic bullet, and it would have had to have been to have zigzagged around the car like a bumblebee. Dr. David Mantic, C.E. 399 was the magic bullet, and all government investigations so far have treated that bullet as absolutely foundational to this case, never doubted that it was involved in the case, and never really looked at the provenance of the bullet. Around the 60th anniversary, the service agent Paul Landis claimed that he was the one who planted the bullet on a stretcher at Parkland. There is a lack of damage to CE 399 Doctor Joseph Dolce, who was a battlefield surgeon in World War II, explains for the Warren Commission, they gave us the original boomstick, the Mannlicher Carcano plus 100 bullets, six and a half millimeter, and we went and shot the cadaver wrists, and in every instance, the front or the tip of the bullet was smashed. Under no circumstances do I feel that this bullet could hit the wrist and still not be deformed.
Dolce came to believe that two bullets had struck Connally. Arlen Specter pre-screened the medical witnesses so Dolce doesn't wind up in the Warren report. In 1978, the HSCA tries again to link CE399 to the case through Dr. Vincent Gwin in a test called the neutron activation analysis, which tried to show that all fragments and CE399 came from only two bullets. We go now to Dr. David Mantic, Robert Blakey, who was in charge of the investigation for the House, claimed that their work with neutron activation analysis was the linchpin of the case against Oswald. But the test comes under severe criticism. We're back now to Dr. Gary Aguilar. People who had deep experience in neutron activation analysis at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory looked at that and said those fragments that came out might not have come from a Mannlicher Carcano or its bullets, and they could, and they could have come from any of five bullets, not the two. So the test was completely debunked. So much so that neutron activation analysis, which the Foxtrot Bravo India used to use in prosecutions has given up more than 10 years prior. They don't do it anymore because they know that it was junk science. And so I've written in my notes: Imagine if you were prosecuted for a crime based on some bullshit like that, something where it's like we can't even really say that this bullet was even used in a Mannlicher Carcano. The evidence around this test has been debunked as false. The bureau doesn't even do it anymore because they know that it's junk science. Like, why would you imagine that a bullshit unreliable test is good enough for a presidential pop pop. Just saying, there's no proof that CE 399 is the same bullet that came from Connolly's wrist. Even Connolly himself disbelieved the single bullet theory. We go back now to Dr. Gary Aguilar. The Warren Commission conducted human skull experiments in 1964 at Aberdeen Proving ground, they filled human skulls with human equivalent material, which sounds creepy as fuck, and they were testified to under oath by Larry Sturdivant for the House Select Committee. He says, as you can see, every skull, all 10 of them, moved away from the boomstick. Dr. Michael Chesser, the trajectory from the sixth floor of the Texas Schoolbook Depository, equivalent to z3 12 or z3 13, the trajectory would have resulted in a blowout through the face, and this was confirmed even by the government's own data. The autopsy photos show JFK's face intact. So now Oliver Stone is talking to Brian Edwards. Oliver Stone asks, "Is the boomstick in evidence today the same boomstick that Oswald ordered through the mail? Brian Edwards says the boomstick that Oswald allegedly ordered under the alias of Alex Heidell was obtained through Klein's sporting goods store in Chicago. It's a mail order, and he got it out of the American R I F L E M A N magazine. He wrote on the coupon that he wanted a 36-inch model Mannlicher Carcano. Robert Frazier was one of the examiners. He was a firearms expert for the bureau, and he testified that when he measured the boomstick in evidence, it was 40.2 inches. So there is a 4.2 inch difference in the one he ordered versus what they found in the book depository. Klein's might have delivered the wrong model from what Oswald ordered, but there are other anomalies to the story. The strap attachment points also do not match. There are discrepancies in the so-called backyard photos of Oswald holding a boomstick and leftist propaganda. For instance, one photograph shows a ring on the right hand, but another photograph shows a ring on his left hand. Why would he stop in the middle of Marina, supposedly taking these pictures to move his wedding ring from one hand to the other, while he was still in custody, the Dallas Police Department showed him one of the photographs, and Oswald said, "That's my face, but I don't remember that photograph ever being taken of me. We're back now to Brian Edwards. If the boomstick was sent from Klein's to the post office box rented under the name Lee Harvey Oswald using the alias of A. J. Hydell on the coupon, it would have been sent back immediately because Oswald's name was the only one on the post office box. He was the only one authorized to receive mail there.
If a boomstick addressed to a different person, not with the authority to have any mail received at that box, had been sent, then it would have been sent back. Of course, the documentary asks the obvious question of why would anybody use a boomstick in a pop pop, knowing that there was a paper trail that would lead right back to them. I mean, you got to be an absolute stone cold dumbass to do something like that. Brian Edwards says the foremost fingerprint expert in the bureau had Sebastian. I think it's Sebastian Latona is the the name. All right, so the bureau gets Sebastian Latona to take the boomstick and attempt to lift prints off of it, he testifies to the Warren Commission that he found no usable prints anywhere on the boomstick, on the metal, or the stock. But yet, Lieutenant Day in Dallas, before the boomstick went to Washington, said he found a partial palm print on the trigger guard on the left side and a partial print underneath the stock on the barrel, but Sebastian Latona said there was no evidence of a lift that had ever even been attempted. So, in other words, there was no evidence that there that they had tried to dust for fingerprints at all. So, how would that have even happened? To be usable in court, there has to be eight points of identification on a fingerprint. He found nothing that would match that. A reporter who is said to be on friendly terms with the Dallas police goes in with them to conveniently film the finding of the boomstick and the three shell casings. There is also the story of the shell casings being moved from their original location and scattered about, which makes it sound like the police wanted things to look more haphazard, as they would if those shell casings had actually been fired from the boomstick. We go back now to Dr. David Mantic. The magic bullet was supposedly found on a stretcher at Parkland Hospital, and it went through several hands before it got to the shush service. Richard Johnson was the first service agent to handle it, and he carried it back to Washington D.C. When he got back to D.C. he gave it to the chief of the service, who was James Rowley. He gave it to Elmer Lee Todd, and Todd then took it to the bureau lab and gave it to Robert Frazier. We have interesting information produced by John Hunt, a private citizen who went to the archives on four or five occasions to track down the story about the magic bullet, and what he found was truly astonishing. We go now to Deborah Conway. He practically moved into the National Archives in Washington. They allowed him to set up a desk with a computer and his own scanner, he also did something different. He didn't interview policemen and bureau people, and he wasn't swayed by their excuses. He went straight to this is what you told me, and you signed your name. John Hunt asks the most basic question: Was CE 399 in evidence the same bullet that was found? On the stretcher, Dr. David Mantic at 7:30 on the night of the pop pop, a bullet appears in the record, and it is signed for by Robert Frazier, who is the main investigator at the Bureau Lab. And it's not just one document; there are multiple documents that indicate that Frazier signed for a bullet at 7:30 that night. Elmer Lee Todd received the bullet at the White House from the chief of the Shush Service, James Rowley, and Todd documents this very clearly in writing that he got the bullet at 8:50 p.m. How is that possible? How can Robert Frazier receive the bullet in the lab at 7:30 from Elmer Lee Todd when Todd didn't even get the bullet until 8:50 p.m. Todd initiated that bullet, the one he got at 8:50 p.m. Everyone else who touched the bullet after that initialed it too. I mean to say initialed it. He initialed it at 8:50. So everybody else initials it as well, including Robert Frazier. Mantic says that he went to the archives himself to look at the bullet, and specifically, what he wanted to know is, do we see Todd's initials on the bullet? He said he initialed the bullet, but the initials are not there.
Todd's initials are not on the magic bullet. I know that gets super confusing, but the bottom line here is, you've got this set of Keystone cops that are all saying different times that they supposedly got this bullet, and everybody's initialing it. Yet some of the initials are missing, and some of them are giving times that are not even possible. Dr. Gary Aguilar, again, I was very interested to find out what the review board would show us about this, so we began scouring their evidence, and we found out something very interesting. We found out that the Warren report from the bureau, a report saying that the guys that found the bullet later identified that as the bullet from the scene. The internal record didn't show that at all. The internal record said that this bullet didn't look like that bullet at all, but the bureau reported to the Warren Commission that it did and it lied. When we talked to the bureau agent that was supposed to have carried the bullet around Bardwell Odom. He said, "I never had that bullet. I never showed any bullet to anyone. If I'd had the bullet, there'd be a 302. I would have filed a report. Particularly in that era, everybody was getting very uptight about getting things right. So we scoured for 302 reports. His name appears nowhere in the records. This is just something that the bureau invented. Dr. David Mantic in 1966, Josiah Thompson, who authored Six Seconds in Dallas, interviewed O.P. Wright, who was head of maintenance at Parkland Hospital and who had handled the bullet. He showed him a photograph of the magic bullet, which had a rounded tip, and OP said nope, it wasn't like that. Back to Dr. Gary Aguilar Wright, who worked as a policeman, knew bullets and said no. The bullet we found at Parkland had a pointed tip. Then he pulled one out of his drawer that had a pointed tip and showed it, and it looks nothing like CE 399 Dr. David Mantic. It's conceivable that some mysterious bullet showed up from who knows where. Todd did not initial it. It ended up in the bureau lab as the magic bullet. But then we have the second bullet that arrives at 8:50 p.m. Is this possibly the pointed bullet that was seen by O.P. Wright in Dallas and then that disappeared. We don't have any idea where it is today, but this scenario that would fit the known facts. So let's think about this for a second. If you have a bullet that supposedly took out the president, wouldn't that be evidence number fucking one? I mean, wouldn't wouldn't that be high on the priority list to keep that safe and to keep it properly cataloged? Wouldn't you want to do everything possible to make sure that you had the correct chain of evidence on that? One would think. So now we go back to Dr. Gary Aguilar. So it appears that a different bullet was found on the stretcher than 399399 shows up after it's been to the bureau lab, and one can only surmise that somewhere in the bureau they realized that they had to close the loop on Oswald's guilt, so they just switched it out, because none of the four people, either the guys at Parkland or the two shush service agents, could identify the bullet. The guy who is supposed to have gotten confirmation that they did identify the bullet. Says he never got it, and the record supports that. So there's good reason to be very suspicious about that magic bullet. We go now to Dr. Henry C. Lee. The chain of custody doesn't start from the lab; it starts from the crime scene. Each piece of evidence should be photographed, documented, and preserved properly from the scene. Evidence is collected and sent to the lab. We have to keep the chain of custody when they enter, who examines it, who does further analysis, and each step has to be maintained until it's submitted. If the chain is broken, the evidence becomes inadmissible, which. To me, is like one of those duh moments. Wouldn't wouldn't this be one of the most important pieces of evidence in all of American history? And we've got a bunch of jerk-off officers that act like, well, I don't know. Did you have it? I don't know.
I got it at 730 Well, I didn't have it till 850 I initialed it. Did you? Yeah, but the initials aren't there. What the fuck? This is insane. Oswald is questioned for hours, yet there is no stenographer present. The police also say that there was no tape recorder in the room either. In this documentary, they even show a news clip of Oswald saying, "I've been photographed in a T-shirt, and now they're taking me to a lineup in a T-shirt so that I will be identified, right? And the detective says back to him, "That's right. Wow, wow. So here's potentially the most notorious criminal in American history since John Wilkes Booth, and you're going to play some kind of fuck around. You're not going to have a stenographer. You're not going to have a tape recorder. That makes no sense. Oswald denies he committed the crime and asks for legal representation. If he really had murdered Kennedy in some kind of politically inspired blaze of glory, why wouldn't he have taken credit for it right then and there? He's on national television. He has a captive audience, millions of eyeballs. He can say anything he wants to about his political cause. At that point, if he had said "fuck all of y'all, "All hail Fidel Castro, "All hell communism, if he had been like breaking down the Soviet anthem, "Sayus ni rashi, mi raspublik sabafnik, wouldn't? Why wouldn't he have done that? He had millions of eyeballs on him right then and there to say anything he wanted to say. Instead, he says, "I'm a patsy. A video of Oswald's transfer is played with two car horns. One as Oswald emerges, and the other the moment before Jack Ruby fires, conveniently also an ambulance is already there. J. Edgar Hoover sends a memo to LBJ that evening to say the thing I am concerned about, and so is mr. Katzenbach, is having something issued so we can convince the public that Oswald is the real pop popper, mr. Katzenbach thinks that the president might appoint a presidential commission of three outstanding citizens to make a determination. The day before, Hoover has told Johnson that the case as it stands is not strong enough to get a conviction. The next day, Deputy Attorney General Nicholas Katzenbach writes a memo to the White House saying the public must be satisfied that Oswald did not have Confederates who were still at large, and that the evidence was such that he would have been convicted at trial. We need something to head off public speculation or congressional hearings of the wrong sort. The bureau becomes the main investigatory arm in the JFK case. There was never any serious discussion that independent investigators were needed. The idea in Washington now became to contain the crime to Oswald, therefore cutting off any connections to some kind of wider Russia slash Cuba communist conspiracy, which could provoke the threat of atomic war. The day after JFK, or the day after he was murdered, the New York Times pronounced Oswald as the killer of President Kennedy. All right, so the day after Oswald is killed, the New York Times says that Oswald was the killer of President Kennedy. There's been no trial. There's really been no evidence presented to the American public. It's just like boop. Here you go. End of story. The Warren Commission concluded that Ruby shot Oswald acting alone. It was not premeditated or planned, and Ruby had no help entering the building. Jack Ruby is on film saying the people who have had so much to gain and had such a material motive to put me in the position that I'm in will never let the true facts come above board to the world. I believe that is true. Two months after winning his appeal and being granted a new trial outside of Dallas, Jack Ruby is found riddled with cancer in his prison cell, he was placed in the hospital. And one month before his new trial, he died. The Warren Commission never exposed Ruby's connections to the mafia, the bureau, or with weapons running and gambling, and and the associated figures in Miami and Cuba. On screen, we see Santos Trafficante, Joseph Savello, and Louis McWillie. Brian Edwards is back. He says on other parts of the case that the government put against Lee Harvey Oswald, obviously he was dead. He had no chance to cross-examine witnesses.
He had no lawyer appointed. Mark Lane tried to get legal representation for Oswald. In fact, he even went to the commission and asked, "Can I represent him? And they denied it. That is not the typical court hearing. That's not your typical inquiry that really wants to get to the truth. Robert Tannenbaum, I can tell you from my experiences, having tried several 100 cases to verdict and being responsible for 1000s of cases as the head of the criminal courts and running the homicide bureau, that I don't believe there's any courtroom in America where Oswald would have been convicted on the evidence that was presented before the Warren Commission. Mark Lane also tells the media about the paraffin test, which shows that Oswald did not even fire a boomstick on November 22nd. second. So obviously, this all stinks to high heaven. If you have the most notorious criminal in American history, certainly the most notorious since John Wilkes Booth, why wouldn't you say we are going to protect him at all costs? We want this fucker alive. We want to get as much information out of him as possible. When he's given the audience of millions of people, people are going to be seeing this this news clip around the world. If you're popping Kennedy for a political cause, wouldn't you say, "Here's what I believe in. Now that I finally have your attention, here's what I want to say. Why would you just scream out, "I'm a patsy" if you did it for political reasons, if you did it to further communism, or you did it to spark off a revolution, like if he was some kind of early accelerationist, why didn't he say so?
