Earth, mother and friends, you cross our heart. Hello, hello, hello, and welcome back to the Lola Yogi Tales and Other Stuff podcast. Oh, oh, wherever you might be vibrating out there in that wondrous multiverse. A tune this way. Let's have some fun together. Let's go play. And today, the play, the game, is a continuation, chapter three, of Spirit Foot, Test of the Sovereign Self. So the game is a tough game. And I had heard along the way, in my many journeys, that when people have to do really hard things, when humans have to do something that's really, really tough, make it a game. And if you make it a game, you condition it, and you find a way to make it easy. You find the way through. I believe one of the messages I have right now that I'm kind of holding and sitting with is to trust that there is a way through. No matter where we might be on our journey, no matter how dark it may feel, trust that there's a way through. And that really does speak to The, chapter today, Spirit Foot's, voice is going to really speak to that, trusting the way through, so I'm going to begin, I'm going to begin with chapter three, Test of the Sovereign Self. Reminded, reoriented, now the real work begins for the Garuda. One is one, a point in space, and nevermore shall be so. The sovereign self must be found, and it is this process that heals the will and makes the Garda fly. It is the gift given through the practice of spiritual resuscitate and earned through the test of the sovereign self, the the gauntlet that leads the spirit yogi and the shard to the heart hearth. The journey to the heart hearth is the journey to the middle way. Oh you Spirit Foot, in your middle way. Oh yes, it's true. As for the quest of the shard, it is the only way. No really, believe in a god, perish. Believe in nothing, perish. Either way, you're owned And the soup will have its way Unless the attention of the middle way is directed Guiding the mother's grief to a new tapestry. In the end, beliefs only lead one to the hooks of the realm of beauty. Might as well dissolve them. Like a racketing, rocketing ball of destabilization, they draw attention and take power to feed themselves. Beliefs often sit on wounds and are used by the debtors to hook the shard. My practice is always to allow myself to get hooked. Oh, poor pitiful weak me. Please help. Always draws the worst predators. Then I introduce them to my shard. Have some light. Here, I'd like to introduce you to an old friend of mine. Here, dark crappy stuff. Meet my friend, the great Mother's Love. Most often the darkness backpedals, but they can't leave, as they've already bit into, poor little me. The light of love draws them in and turns them into something new. Pure creation. Nothing more fun. No harm, no foul, as no being is being hurt in the journey. Each hook wants to shock you. It's how they draw your attention at the end. There is no shame loud enough that is not used to draw creative's attention. The mother's grief at the end is very daunting. The shock and outrage of the unseen and unheard being so in need of a Garuda's love. The outrage is the power waiting for the Garuda. Fuel. Fuel for their jewels. The second birth for the shard is the birth where they realize, without delusion, right where they are, in the mother's depths, ready with the shard of attention and will to eat, create, repeat, until there is nothing left, then eating a little nothing, just to be sure the job is done. The second birth is the result of completing the test of the sovereign self. It is always easier to be owned. Lighter and softer, it feels good to feed our life force to the law we choose to own us. Having it drawn from us is a sticky, sweet, feel good experience. This is the soup all beings who surround us are caught in, trapped in their burning cell, feeding life force to pay the mother's debts and keep the God's hearths lit. The test is to learn how to make this life force To learn we can wield it and invest it as we choose with our human will and attention Many systems have created structures, pathways to this place of understanding, and all of them call it the Middle Way and the path of honoring the mother. This is because if you are in the Middle Way, then you cannot help but to meet the needs of the mother, so honoring her to her end. Ah, being a Garuda is so elegant. Just place them in poison. Let their natural intelligence kick in. Remind and reorient. Seeing the state of things as the moon bears witness. This is the second birth and the moment the Garudas settle in. Will intact. Until the task is complete. Loving returned to every corner of mother creation. The shard is instantly blessed with a shell of Shiva's terrible wrath, the most potent of Nemesis's soup. In that shell, the shard starts to feed, to generate creative from their heart source to protect the precious beings from destruction. It can be like coaxing an old machine to start, to rekindle a shard's ability to generate and direct their creative. They do get a taste for it, and then you can't stop us. Poison turns to medicine. Chi, mind, creative, flows from the shard, and they find there is no end to the mother's love and the mother's means. There is always deep wellsprings within us, and we find it when we surrender. Make open space and allow the charge to be met with the shard of Shiva Kronos. Like a perfectly tuned carburetor. The Shard meets the Mother's debts and pulls them with perfect venturi effect, weaving it into the light of the Golden Age. To watch Kronos tip the Shards into the Great Mother Creation, first just a few fall. The first to enter are the greatest of emanations, and they know they will not survive. Few become more as the shards of Kronos fall and gather into the depths of the neglect. Those following remind the first as it is our pact. The soup of Nemesis is the ground. Oh yeah! The shard is your means. Oh yeah! Let go of your rage and indignation and use your will. Oh yeah! I love making tea. And this always makes me think of the fairy bubbles forming. With the warming of the water. The will back on line. Remind, remind, remind. We remind each other to use the attention that is our shard to weave the darkness into a new age and a new dream. All life is a waking dream. We remind each other, each shard again, remind them, to have compassion for those beings who see it as solid and real. And the final reminder, to put that shard in the hard hearth of our human meat sack. The fairy bubbles ante up and start to spittle. They start to spittle the joyful wrath of the crab bubbles. These ride out into the soup, adding the rainbow luster into the mix of the unseen and unheard. There is a bard's tale that speaks of a fortunate story holder who was blessed enough to see the falling of the shards into the depths of the mother's wrath. Her tale is one of rebirth, and the transformation of the shards, who once has their will reinstated, become Garudas of mighty prowess. What is a Garuda? Oh, you Aethers, you, you are good. The question for which every shard needs the answer. One answer is a mythical bird with the eagle's head and wings and a lion's body who overpowers the Nagas. Overpowers is a dark age interpretation. As I have already shared, the Naga's venom is the soup, and the overpowering, quote unquote, is the Garuda's ability to imbibe the venom and transform it into the gems and jewels of the new age. Once a Garuda is reminded to weave the soup, at least by the lowly bard's description, becomes a seething froth of creative. Live crab bubbles become the raging boil of love. Freeing one's attention from the soup of ownership is the process and the test which each of us must endure to take this path of the sovereign self and the Garuda. Without our will and our attention, the soup owns us and feeds on our creative any way it can. It will come through and wound To take its creative needs, as creative is fire, and fire is life. It is important to remember that there is no aspect of the dream at the end that is not a petty tyrant. This might seem like a no duh moment, but at the end, the mother's sufferings are veiled, and so reside in the depths of the final test of the sovereign self. The test leads one to the means of suffering without giving up, which is an essential skill for the Garuda. It teaches us that the suffering is the power of the dream, it is through this skill of good renunciation, the Shard creates the means to take the suffering like a thread processed through the spindle of will and weave the new dream with all their brothers and sisters. To pass the test, one must choose to let go and see the illusion. The Shard must take a loss. Sometimes, a great loss, if the soup has tricked them, to find the ground of the sovereign self within them. Knowing one's nature and trusting it is the path, and there is nothing to trust outside of oneself. Point here, my definition of trust is to trust a being to be what they are. Watch them, and they will share, they will share their nature with you. Once a shard knows a being's nature, they can trust that nature and allow it to find its proper place in the whole shards. Coronas is wondrous. Soldiers a light. Give yourself grace and gentleness, as I remind you that there is nothing likable about the Great Mother at her end, but she must be loved to her very end regardless. This is the pact of the Garuda. Kronos, Shivos, Shards, unite and weave. Pain and suffering is just power. Don't be shocked. Just weave. There was a great shard who fell hard and deep into the mother's wrath. Fearless, he planted the seeds of Shambhala. He gave a piece of advice that was very helpful. He shared with his fellow shards this guidance. Right now you are a chicken, but you could be a Garuda. He was giving guidance in the task of each charge to find the place of good renunciation, where there is no ownership, nothing is held on to, allowing the dream to flow and take its natural course. Ownership blocks the natural flow of the mother's plan. That great yogi, who so playfully offered insight to the test of the sovereign self, offered these words to describe the experience. One is one, hadot in space, and never more shall be so. Certainly describes the experience. It is uncomfortable, not to be owned, to hold the responsibility of one's own attention. For the shard, attention is a responsibility. As it, our attention, creates indiscriminately. This is an important reminder that comes as we need, as we cross the threshold of the Sovereign Self. As it must be understood, at least I remind myself of this fine detail, that attention is invested and pays out at a very high return as a shard Creation is so very potent. Actually, a very interesting point, and the reward of passing the test, is that as one takes on the responsibility of the sovereign creator, then one has the potential, the foundation, to move from chicken to Garuda. The test of the sovereign self is a constant while residing in the soup of nemesis. invaded and used against the shard. This is the mindfulness practice of the Garuda to allow the soup to find its way into the venturi draw of the shard's loving kindness. To blend and weave, warp and weft, the shard in their full expression of the Garuda display is the being who has taken back their attention and rather than being trapped in the pain and power of debts, marrying the creative within them. And so becoming a dream weaver, only when a spirit yogi, shard or otherwise holds the means of their own attention and the understanding that they can use that means to weave a new dream. Do they find their instrument fully realized? Passing through the test of the sovereign. The spirit yogi. Believe me, I know as I did it myself. Spirit yogis find the path to the Garda and the dream weaver. Gardas are dream weavers. That is their role known and forgotten by all of us until it is time to remember. Once again, we help each other to awaken from the evil dream of ownership and as one, bring the ultimate wedding gift. Shiva's gift to Parvati, love, Kama's return. Now, I will let you know, that is a fun journey. Ah, that is a fun journey indeed. I'm so glad that you all found me and that you have all joined me for chapter three of Spirit Foot, Test of the Sovereign Self. Well, I must say, it is always a joy to share these stories. So once again, I thank you. And of course, if for any reason you feel that this lowly yogi might bring blessings to someone you know and care about, do please share the tales. And, if there's any love at all in there, you might consider sharing a little yogicash, as this lowly yogi will take it and use it to further sacred works.
