Earth, mother and friends, you cross our heart. Hello, hello, hello, and welcome back to lowly yogi tales and other stuff podcast. Oh, I'm so happy you found this lowly yogi here out here in the multiverse. Wherever you find yourself vibrating a tune this way, let's have some fun together. Well, I was taking some time this week after the school for yogis to see what will be the offering and I puttered around and I was I came across Nandi's Quest, and Nandi's Quest is something that had come through like a lightning strike a little while back. But to share this, I realized there's some background that might be necessary, because the story itself just jumps right in, and it's really quite fun. But you might need to know who Nandi is. And of course this whole story is built on the premise of comma. So if you're not familiar with the God comma, well then that might be a challenge as well if we hear this story.'cause those are the two main characters. So NHI is Shiva's Bowl. Now Nandi was a great yogi. Nande was an extraordinary yogi, and he was actually a boon of Shivas and he was given a human birth. And in that human birth, his father was so overjoyed to have a son and it came clear that his son was going to have to die. And the, the, the father of course became quite distressed as any father would to lose a child. It's such a beyond imagination. We put it in that place. Just not, not, nope. We don't give that attention. Right? Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. And in that conversation, his dad expressed his grief. The child, and the child said, Dad, you really need to have more understanding and devotion. I'm a boon of Shiva's. I was given to you by him directly, and if this is the case that I am to die, there must be a reason for it. And what wisdom, of course, because of truth, yes. This young boy has such devotion, such deep devotion, and, and, and, and his devotion was in love. He loved Shiva's love, and there was no boon he would accept otherwise, but Shiva's love. And he went through all the god realms, and he went through each and every challenge, and each and every gate. He made each and every outrage, and even when it came to the point where he was going to have an enlightened human body, he said, no, no, no. I want Shiva's love. And, love he was given. Nandi was transformed into Shiva's principal ride, greatest warrior, and heart's son. His body is out of a pure bowl, white, pristine. He has all the powers and potencies of Shiva. And Nandi's best friend is Kama. This was the boon he received. Kama is the heart fire that resides in Shiva's heart, that pure creative. And this story is based on On Kama's demise, and it's going to begin here soon. I think I might start next week. Yeah, we'll start next week. We'll start Nandi's quest. Now that you have the background story, you know who Nandi is. You might do a little research yourself. I have great devotion in this bowl. You'll see the way that it is expressed. In visual aid, is that Nandi, the bull, is always looking at the heart fire of Shiva in any temple you visit. And that is the teaching, Nandi's great devotion. I just had a realization as I'm talking here. There's another piece that's going to be important in this, and that is another set of stories about the graces, the three graces and the three graces. There's a whole story here where at a certain point, law is made more powerful than love. And in so doing, you know, it's said that actually. She recastrates himself, but even further, it's said that this is when Kama is burnt up in his terrible wrath. And that when he's burnt up, Sati is Kama's love. She steps into the fire because she will not endure ownership. And in that blaze, which she invites because Agni loves her so much he won't do it. So she does it for herself. She becomes three stones, three graces. And those three stones are also a part of this tale. So, of course, you'll want to know the reference there. The three graces. The three graces are, well, I say it every week, I offer you grace. Joy, plenty, and glorious. Joy, being the antidote for fear. Plenty. Being the antidote for hope and glorious being the fire that guides us through the middle way. So, you'll, you'll hear reference in the story to come of the three graces as the three stones. And that should give a little ground as we tell the tale. Oh, thanks again for finding me. And if you enjoy Loli Yogi Tales and other stuff podcast, do please feel free to share, share, share.
