We have been stepping into the new book, Nandi's Quest. And I, you know, I really wanted to share, you know, the experience of how fast it came through. It, it, it came down in about seven days. Um, just like a lightning bolt for real. And I didn't know anything about Nandi actually before the process began. Uh, I mean, I knew he was, she was, uh, bull, she was ride. Um, you know, and all the gods, you know, in the, in the, in that system, they, they all have their rides and Nandi, you know, of course, very sacred. And I understood that and I understood, you know, the preciousness of the bowl was certainly due to Nandi, but the depths of it, I didn't really grasp until writing this piece, you know, this is definitely the great mother coming down and teaching, me, and hopefully you, this new, New view. New, new, new, new, uh, understanding of a very old being. So, we're gonna, we're gonna step right in again. chapter two of Nandi's quest. Memories of friendship. Kama is a good friend. If there was ever a need to be filled, love made it happen. Nandi couldn't stop rocking his great head in shock. I got to put my eyes on him. Nandi's only intention. Kama's beauty was the way he flowed through the Great Mother, meeting her every desire. Watching Kama move through creation was like watching a wave of creation activate the Mother's laws, bringing wonders on wonder in every cascading move. That couldn't be gone! I have to get my eyes on that Kama of mine. Forward, into the mist. How could he be a firehorse? Nandi's thoughts rose and fell as he let his attention dance through his vast mind for a solution. Nandi took his attention to the first time he and Kama found each other, and the very beginning of their long friendship. Nandi met his friend through his lord and father by choice and deep devotion. Nandi was so devoted to his Lord Shiva that there was no boon he would not take, as it was not his Lord's love. He, the great bull, started as a lowly yogi, full of human desire and devotion in search of a rare gem called pure love. Every realm came, and Nandi held, will undaunted, dissolving one dream into the next. Each god realm revealed suffering equal to each and every realm. Without this love, there was no mercy, only the tyrant of duty, and even the great bull knew there was more. Nandi settled illuminating the jewels of his mind letting his gallop take him into the open channels He relaxed at his anger for the upstart gods, fired his rejection for them, and he watched as the lowly human gave his form, gods and all, to pass through the only boon worth seeking, the unicorn of love. Devotion was the means Nandi used to get to his friend Kama, and it was in that act where the meeting took place. Nandi's now father reformed the lowly yogi with all of his devotion into a great bowl and bestowed the role and purpose to be the ride of Paravati and Shiva, Lord Love, for the Golden Age. Nandi opened his attention and remembered how Shiva had placed his personal fire, Love's pure flame, in his heart's center. This is when the friendship began. Kama flowed from my father to my heart, and the boon of Nandi was granted. Nandi knew the worst was true, as he no longer felt Kama. His home abandoned to duty and law. Love demanded that Nandi find his friend. The emptiness made the longing and desire possible. These led the bull's way to find the unicorn without his horn. Grief washed over Nandi and tears fell as he felt the loss of his friend. Hey, why are you crying? You didn't even cry when you surrendered your body and found your new home. Nandi looked up to take in a blurry being beyond words, but don't let that stop me. Muscles rippling with pure flames of potency, dancing from the core of Kama's being and out again. Nandi raced to his friend and began rubbing his great jowls, being mindful not to gore. Rubbing his whole body into Kama with love and joy at the sight of his friend. Ugh! You were covered in terrible wrath! How can you withstand it, Nandi? The other gods withered in my presence. Don't you worry about this, old bowl. I have danced with my lord's terrible wrath on the darkest battlefield. And I'm not gonna lie, you feel a bit like that right now. Get in here, give this old bowl a hug, then come back up and let me take you all in. I cannot even begin to tell you how worried I Oh, oh, well, snap. I do believe I wasn't worried enough. What the heckfire? There is no heck about it. Pure hellfire carved this old love god into what you see before you. Wow. They weren't lying when they said you were a horse. What a majestic beast you have become. Oh, you stop it, Nandi. No, no, actually, really, keep going. I could use some compliments right now. Well, the flames over your eyes are a stunning blue purple, which brings out the pure rage. The rage really pops, Nandi said with a smile. I am so happy I found you, Kama. I knew you, of all my friends, I knew you had the will and the devotion to find me here in the depths of fire and shame. And here, only because of another, I have done nothing to deserve this. Flame of terrible wrath, tempered in the potent fire of love's creative, began to dance over his equine body. You are going to give me a love bath. NHI smiled as he braced for the wave of unrequited wrath to come. And with Nhis grace, the wave freed itself from and burnt up all in its path. Untempered creative meeting and raping all as. The graces no longer offered the temper and transition of comm's potency. That is why I have traveled to the realm of monsters. I can touch nothing without harm. Hey, my friend, you can touch me. Get over here and give me some love. Talk about a day going sideways, huh? Kama came in and met Nandi's love with love, and his fire settled. Small moves into the heart, you know the drill. You taught me, Nandi, with soothing Kama. With his words and his touch. Remember when you were telling me about your yogic journey, the descent that took you past the new and the old Gods? Oh, yes. You listened and understood how each realm was its own realm of fire and suffering, truly the will of a bull. You would not stop until you found me. You weren't even afraid to shed your body. Oh, how your father wept until you scolded him. I am a gift at a boon to you from Lord Shiva himself. Why fear what is to come, knowing his love for you and for me? We must relax into his great plan. Yes, my father did have to take in and be with the idea of death in a new way the day I left the mortal coil, only to return boon in horn. I found, just as I told you before, that each realm had a different feel. But all stunk of the debt of ownership. Different wrapping, same stink. And I just couldn't shake that this is not what my heart desired. And so I would not stop until I found you. I didn't know you then. And that didn't matter, because my heart did. And my heart guided my cells to the death and rebirth I needed to find you, comma. There was no second choice. Only you, my friend. I must say, I have the same feelings for you, Nandi. Look, yourselves did it again. You found this wild fire horse. So what now? Well, Lord Ganesha was kind enough to tell me about your demise. And before I could come to you, he gave me three stones and said the unicorn had split into three. He did not know what to do, and he hoped that you might know what to do. Karma burst into tears. Fire rained from him in a storm of grief. Oh, not my three! My loves, my guides, and pulse! How could this be? Well, Ganesha was kind enough to offer the consolation that even we gods are subject to karma. And the falling of the ages. Not gonna lie, he almost found Shiva's mount goring his head and throwing him into any abyss I could find. Kama settled into Nandi and wailed his grief for his three graces. Now cold stones awaiting the turning of the age and the final boon. Nandi joined Kama as the Graces were ancient friends, and the idea that their laughter would go unheard, was unbearable to consider. Fire Horse and Bull rocked to soothe each other as they came to terms with the losses. Rocking together time and rhythm gave the two heart beings the resolve to move forward. Kama held his three loves dear to his heart and with resolve let Nandi know their path. Nandi, if you will join me. We must take my three to the safety of Persephone's garden. And then it is to the depths with me to join the ranks of Shiva's monsters in the dark age. There it is. Chapter two. Ha ha ha. Nandi's quest. This one touches my heart for sure.
