Hey there and welcome to the Teacher Entrepreneur Podcast, a podcast for online teachers and other online educators looking to start and scale an online business as a teacher! I’m Katie Gettys, a former elementary music teacher turned teacher entrepreneur. I quit my classroom job back in 2018 to move abroad and travel full time, ended up finding online teaching, and have never looked back. I now have an online music studio that’s served thousands of students, manage a team of teachers and virtual assistants, have a range of digital products, and coach other teacher business owners to do the same.
Each week on the podcast, I’ll give actionable tips and strategies on topics like getting started as an online teacher, expanding your reach by hiring a team and building systems, and scaling with digital products.
