0:02 Business Efficiency Through Lean Operations
3:22 Trading Strategies and Insights
7:32 Speaking Challenges at International Conferences
You got discipline, you got discipline. That's why you can run this company, one-man team, A lot of fucking discipline. What's the key man? How do you run, do all that volume with one? How do you do it, man?
Speaker 4:Discipline Concentration, remove the distractions. I work out three times a week, like. My gym is like two minutes away from my home, so I always go on vacations. I spend time in nature. That's important Wow.
Speaker 1:You know, I saw that you were in some profile where you told me you were a one-man group. I'm like, bro, I didn't know you were, it was just you. That's crazy man. But that's actually better man, way better to talk about this at the show about. I had all these people on my fucking team and, bro, like, our revenue was high, but then our margins. I told you what we did a couple years ago. Yeah, you had to trend 4.2 million in net profit, but if we really didn't need all the people we needed, if we had it right, we should have done like five and a half minimum to six, maybe seven, eight.
Speaker 1:The thing is that we were just too fat Like we would hire somebody for boosts and pay them 50, 60 grand a year. I could get someone to do that part-time for 10 grand a year. I remember telling you about that too. You did tell me that.
Speaker 6:But, the fact that I was making money for that.
Speaker 7:I remember that yeah, I know.
Speaker 5:But the more you start what's the word like? Utilizing, like really good offshore people like me as a BPO person, person, it's like you see it, yeah, I'm like my whole business model is based off of running lean, tight shop. Um, you know, obviously you pay good money to people that deserve good money. But, like, if someone is replaceable for 30 grand or 50 grand, why am I going to give them 200 grand? You know what I mean. You know those type of salaries have to be earned through loyalty.
Speaker 1:Yo, most of the time when people have salaries, they don't work, man. Yeah, they never fucking work. It's crazy, it's like a curse man.
Speaker 5:People have to be paid based on performance, Someone who claims they're going to be a killer, sales rep. And they promise me all these deals. And I'm like, okay, let's do a lower base and a very higher upside. And now they panic. I'm like, oh, but you're so confident that you're going to bring me so many deals, why are you scared now? And that shows that they're not as confident as they're pretending to be when they're trying to hustle that base salary out of you.
Speaker 4:If they need security, they're not confident.
Speaker 5:Exactly, if they need security, they're not confident.
Speaker 1:Bro, that's huge man. That's so fucking true man.
Speaker 5:And you guys as media buyers. You're not managing people's money. You're spending your own money because you're confident in your ability to do performance marketing.
Speaker 1:No, it's true, man. That's awesome man. Fuck man I don't know where the fuck we're in the middle of.
Speaker 5:We're outside right now.
Speaker 1:We probably passed Cuba.
Speaker 5:Yeah, well, we can't go over Cuban airspace, but you can't.
Speaker 1:No, oh shit, I guess.
Speaker 9:But no.
Speaker 5:I think we passed it. Yeah, I wonder if I'll see PR on the way down.
Speaker 1:So, bro, we want to do Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico.
Speaker 5:That one is going to get way more traffic than here. Why do you say that? Because, number one, you don't need a visa to go to Puerto Rico. I mean, you don't need a passport. So it's like, it's like you're flying domestically within the United States, and then, of course, you know you got all these guys' wives that won't let them go to Colombia.
Speaker 1:It's real talk right there. Now we get traders. I want to get some traders, man, I want to blend the Philly market with some traders. We're very similar, man.
Speaker 5:Yeah, no. So look, I got my boy in Puerto Rico. He has a Discord that he sells people access to it. He's a professional penny stock trader and he tips them off on his alerts when he buys and when he sells. And you know there's people that do that, that they prove their main income is from the trading that they're crushing. You know six-figure weeks, seven-figure weeks straight from trading. And then you know they're making a little extra five to six figures a month maybe on their subscriptions and they're providing value.
Speaker 5:You know I never subscribed to his thing. He put me in it for free just because you know he saw that first of all, as a penny stock trader he benefits when people buy after he buys because these are micro caps, low liquidity. So as a friend, he put me on and he also knows I buy with large volume. And then he gave me a few good trades that you know. He asked me yo can you post that on your story and shout me out? Um, and I did it and it ended up getting him subscribers anyway. So even though he put me in the group for free, you know it's still he's. He's creating value both ways, for himself and for us. So yeah, there's definitely, you know, a a lot of things to think about and talk about in the trading place.
Speaker 5:You know, and I got a boy who he does emerging markets so he's like trading government bonds.
Speaker 1:Is that the?
Speaker 5:one with Lebanon at two cents. Yeah, he'll tell me, like yo I just made 3X on Argentina today, or yo, venezuela just went up 50%. Like it's crazy, it's like he's trading based off of like geopolitical, like relationships and stuff.
Speaker 1:Listen, you missed it. You missed it. But why don't ride the motherfucking momentum? Exactly.
Speaker 11:Buy that 12, man.
Speaker 1:Maybe if you're wrong you get out nine cents, whatever Right, but when you're right you play that game. So that's been my maturity Took me a long fucking time to learn. It's ego man, I know.
Speaker 5:And emotion and you also just got to become numb, to like pain, like you remember how bad my trades were in the beginning of the year and how, by the grace of God, I magically made it all back. But yeah, you got to put emotion aside and listen to the professionals not the emotional people.
Speaker 1:That's what it is, bro, and that's what I do too.
Speaker 5:I got these guys, fibonacci guys, whatever there was a wall street guys, hedge fund guys, it's funny we were, we were doing gold, we were gold early Go away. We both fucked up early.
Speaker 1:We fuck up. You like we were talking too much.
Speaker 5:We're each other out, gave each other too much information. We should have been yeah, and then we like we're out, literally the next day starts.
Speaker 1:I know we we left millions on the table.
Speaker 5:You and me started making money trading when we stopped talking each other. We stopped talking, we stopped giving each other tips.
Speaker 1:I tend to ask you buy 50. Next, we said it on the LFG show with the girl from Budapest. That was perfect timing. By the way, you came out of nowhere. That wasn't even planned. But it's true.
Speaker 5:We stopped trading. Opposite of what I do, when I go long short, when I go short long, you'll become a billionaire.
Speaker 1:That was good. But yeah, it's true, man. I mean the thing about the market. You miss an opportunity there's always another opportunity, 100%.
Speaker 1:It's almost like a vertical. It's almost like me in paper call. I did a ride with Medicare AC a couple years ago. I haven't been able to get those numbers again. I'm chasing, I'm chasing. Why do I chase? I focus on what I'm good at Home improvement. I'm good at that. We're good at that. Focus on those. Why am I focusing on shit I'm not good at? Man Right, it's dumb. So you start chasing man.
Speaker 1:You're always gambling, trading, yeah, and then you try to spend yourself too thin, yeah, and then you get unappreciative of what it's fucking crazy man. I love it. My voice is so fucking good. I think it's great man. I mean, damn, maybe my voice sounds. The other day people were like your voice is my fucking voice sounds good. What are you talking about? How's my voice sound? One to ten you should be a singer man. Yours sounds, I think, six out of ten. Mine's a four man Right now.
Speaker 5:Maybe five. I need to recover man. Mine's a four man right now. Nah, maybe five. I need to recover man. Nah, it's a six. It's definitely a sub-six Yo.
Speaker 1:You know what's funny? Man In Bangkok, in Bangkok, it's fucked up. Anyway, in Bangkok you were with me in Bangkok in 2022. I had to speak. It's worse, it's terrible when you gotta speak the last day of show. Oh, you're dead. You may have been in that one man. I woke up, my voice was fucked and I started drinking green tea, all this shit and it was like an hour before I got to get on stage. I'm like oh my god, this is fucking terrible man. Literally right before I got on stage, the fucking shit came back. It was like god, like oh man.
Speaker 7:It was amazing that's happened to me twice.
Speaker 1:It happened to me in Dubai, it happened to me in Barcelona too, but I feel for ColumbiaCon. The first day at Legion World, I went home I was like man, I'm going to fuck myself. This ain't cool. But I think the awareness is making me speak a little bit different. Man Right being aware of it, I'm talking, god bless you. I'm speaking at ColumbiaCon, god bless you. I was speaking to Columbia. We're hosting this thing, so I got to be on point man, yeah, yeah, no for sure, he was at Patrick Vett PBD. He was there when Trump won.
Speaker 5:He puts on that conference Valuetainment. I want to go to it, we should go, but it's always conflicting with industry events, it's true right.
Speaker 1:So Chance was there. So Chance was there and Sammy the Bull Gravato came on stage. Man, no way Bro. And we tagged him. He reposted that shit man. Sammy the Bull reposted it. Sammy the Bull, man, I'd like to have like some old-school mobster, like that man, on the fucking show. Sammy told though yeah, that's the problem, man, that's the thing that's kind of like I don't know we we were thinking about getting Pavel Esquire's bookkeeper here. That would be crazy.
Speaker 10:He and.
Speaker 1:Medellin. We should have done that man. Maybe we could still do it. But think about the numbers. He's the bookkeeper, the numbers he was seeing Crazy. I think he had like $30 billion back in fucking 1989.
Speaker 5:That's wild, that's like over $100 billion now?
Speaker 1:Yeah, something like that Crazy.
Speaker 5:What's your favorite part about Ben and Gene? I like the topography a lot. The climate Topography, no, honestly, I meant more to say the.
Speaker 1:That was awesome. So what would it be like? Abcd, get this shit right. I would never expect more to say topography Yo, that was fucking fantastic, the oxygen. I like the topography.
Speaker 5:Yo, the oxygen there, man, you're breathing in Oxygen. The oxygen there, man, you're breathing in Oxygen. Holy shit, no, for real. This guy's a philosopher. You're in that high-altitude rainforest that's like the Amazon You're breathing in. I just love the air there. The food is good, the people are great, the climate man. I just I love everything about Medellin, man. It's just beautiful place. You know it has a dark past, but it has a bright future. In my opinion, bro, I think anyone that's successful has a dark past.
Speaker 1:Exactly, and you can say the same about anyone, anyone, in any place. That's a fact. It grows character.
Speaker 5:It makes you look better.
Speaker 1:It 100%.
Speaker 5:It's good man. It builds character. I'm proud of my fucking dark past, Fuck yeah.
Speaker 1:Bro, my favorite part about Medellin the fucking, the photography. Yeah, not.
Speaker 5:Cheers guys, Cheers guys, let's fucking go to Colombia, let's fucking go.
Speaker 8:We're going Medellin, yes sir, how are the girls there? We keep the best.
Speaker 5:I'm an engaged man so I don't really know about those type of matters, but I'm sure if you ask some guys on this flight they'll tell you. They'll know. They'll know, yeah.
Speaker 1:My wife's from Medellin, so that says a lot, right, but what I was going to say is that the fucking bang for your buck, right, yo, we go out. You've been with me. You drop X amount.
Speaker 5:I want to know who Dude you pop bottles at the nicest club there and you spent $500.
Speaker 1:You spent nothing.
Speaker 5:You feel like you're ripping them off. Yeah, you feel bad. You're like you guys should raise your prices. Yes, miami, I take two guys out and I'm getting fucking head cracked for 5K. Fuck out of here. And you're like shit, yeah You're. And the doorman is like yo, man, get it together and stay in line properly, or you're not getting in. And it's like yo, go fuck yourself. I'm giving you five Gs here. You can pay him $500 and you're the king. You know what I mean.
Speaker 1:I got a funny story. It's kind of related man. So my buddy Alex came in. He's the owner of one of the biggest solar companies in America. We get off, they dock it, these other people get. He had a big one. I'm not good with the terminology we had one of the bigger ones.
Speaker 5:It was a beautiful yacht. We parked the ship Cataraman, or whatever the fuck it's called, I don't know.
Speaker 1:Some of my shit, some of the sunset.
Speaker 5:I don't know the terminology of it either.
Speaker 1:So we get off. We're a little tipsy. They started yelling. They're like yo spend your money better. Bah bah, bah, bah bah. You know who the fuck you?
Speaker 5:You guys stink, they're like and bro they were like having like a fuck you, my yacht is better than yours, yeah, yeah, that kind of thing.
Speaker 1:And then his girl shout out Gianna, she's from Jersey. What, what the fuck? You can't give her a penis. You're like bitch. I'm like bro, we about to fight. Man like this is crazy man, but that's the kind of shit that happens in America. You can't fucking fish. What the fuck's the problem? You're just fighting over who's yacht is nicer. It's like dumb man, you know, but that kind of shit that's a dick swing in context. I haven't seen that happen in a place like Medellin no, no, no, people are more respectful there.
Speaker 5:Yeah, there's consequences.
Speaker 1:Correct man. But anyway, that was kind of funny. But honestly she kind of made us get, she diffused the situation. We were ready, we were like this is beautiful man, it was nice, but anyway, what the fuck were we saying we're talking about? Yeah, man, I went to Nobu six people in Vegas With 4K, yeah, 4,300.
Speaker 5:With the drinks yeah.
Speaker 1:And a couple of those guys didn't even drink, yeah, oh, and if they wanted to get hammered, your bill would have been six grand, exactly, man, and I was completely off. I thought that bill was going to be like two. I was way off. Yeah, 4,300, man, I wouldn't even think you spent 4,300 on Medellin.
Speaker 5:No, you know, it's fucked up when it's like a tip for five or six.
Speaker 1:No, that's the problem, man. That is the problem. I lived in Greenville, south Carolina. I went there in 2012 building a call center. I didn't own the call center. They brought me in to build these campaigns. We took the call center from four agents. There's like 250 agents. When I first moved down there, I would get wrecked because they got this shit called splitters. You ever done a splitter? It's like half a shot, right.
Speaker 1:So you get like splitters for like two bucks. I go out there. It was like being in Medellin. Now that's in Charlotte, no, greenville, south Carolina, okay, so it's like rural. I was getting wrecked, man, because I go to New York and you spend a few hundred bucks, or whatever I go to Greenville, spend 50 bucks and get everyone drinks.
Speaker 5:It was great man, that's the thing. Like you got parts of America I guess they call them like mid-tier cities or low-tier cities. It's actually super cheap, but we're always in Miami, new York, la, chicago, the hubs. You know what I mean. So we're getting head cracks everywhere. We go Fucking Vegas and I fucking hate Vegas. Yeah, I'm going to go to ASW.
Speaker 1:But that's his every time.
Speaker 5:The devil's city. The only reason I'm going to ASW Is because my cousin just had a baby In LA, so it's my excuse To pop out to the west coast, since I'm already going to be in the area. Otherwise I wasn't even going to go, because I hate going to Vegas and I got a good deal In my booth out there.
Speaker 1:You know what Vegas is. Rough man, because I'm known for working hard, playing hard, right, I'll go out late. You're the same way. Four, five, six in the morning.
Speaker 5:And, bro, it's dry as fuck there, so your lips get mad chapped.
Speaker 1:Six in the morning. There is nine o'clock here, business starting.
Speaker 5:Oh yeah, you're not waking up when market opens.
Speaker 1:Yeah, man, I always have a position in the market, Like one time I had Rivian I don't know if I was long Rivian, the electric car maker.
Speaker 5:Because you overslept.
Speaker 1:I knew the market was open, like god damn, I'm down on this shit. It starts to reverse.
Speaker 5:I was down, yeah, but sometimes oversleeping works in your favor for sleeping wicks, in your favor, but this time, yeah, I wish I would've slept that night at dinner.
Speaker 1:I was like I want to be up for the fucking market. Shit, Fuck this stock. They got some bad news.
Speaker 5:I think you FaceTimed me that one time. It was like 6 am in Vegas and you FaceTimed me.
Speaker 1:Yes, Bro the fucking what's the thing? The stock I think I had like 60, 70k of the stock. No, I have options. Thank.
Speaker 5:God, I have options. I would have been really fucked.
Speaker 1:I had, I think, like 2,000 or 2,500 shares. I remember I was 32. The shit was like I got 30. And I remember the weekend before like I don't even know what it would have been, I didn't take the loss, I didn't to fucking do this. It opened like it's trading pre-market at 28. It wasn't that bad. So I buy a little bit more and it went to like 30 and my average price was like 30, 40. I got it like 30, 10. Like you know what, get out of this motherfucker. It took like an $800 loss. I was down like 12 grand 800 loss, not bad. I go to sleep. I wake up, fuck. That's one time I wish I slept. Fuck, because then I would have been instead of losing 800, I would have been the worst. And then I think it ripped to like 35, 38 the next few days, which is why I got in originally. I'm like it's going to go here, but I remember.
Speaker 5:I was in that fucking stock too, and I got out before I probably lost on it.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I think it went to 10 a fuck.
Speaker 5:Nah, honestly, honestly, no. Ankur, yeah, ankur, no. After I'm going to sneeze again. Bless you, thank you. After I accumulate enough wealth, I don't want to be trading, I want to be investing. You know what I mean. I don't want to fucking deal with the stress and die young from it. You know what, bro?
Speaker 1:this is what you know. Have 95% of it. Have that 5% for thrills man.
Speaker 5:Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, 5% for thrills. You need it, I need it too. That's how it is, bro. Get your dopamine fix. You got to know yourself right. That's what you want to do. I got to make sure I'm still alive.
Speaker 1:I got to feel something you got to feel are bro. Yeah, it's amazing, all these guys I know they got hundreds of millions, some might have a billion, but these guys don't stop, they're still animals.
Speaker 5:You see, that too right they're savages.
Speaker 1:It's a pursuit, is what it is 100% and once you get it, it's like what the fuck? Yeah, that's why I married Musk. Musk, what $600 billion.
Speaker 5:When he first exited PayPal, he had a few hundred M's, like he could have just been set for life. He risked all his money and that's how he became the billionaire that he is now. Actually, he might have risked all his billions. Maybe it wasn't a few hundred M's, maybe it was a few bill and like he turned his few bill to a few hundred bill, or it was a few M's I don't know the exact number, but like he risked it all because he was like nah, fuck that. Like okay, yeah, you got enough money to put your kids in the best schools, fly private everywhere and stay in the nicest hotels, drive the nicest cars, but that's not enough. You want more.
Speaker 1:You know you want to fucking keep going. Of course, man. You want to have a purpose. What's inspiring, though, man? Yeah, Inspiration. You know, you got your uncle here right, yeah my uncle, what did he?
Speaker 3:say to you.
Speaker 1:He wanted to be around the young kids. He don't have to do this, but he wanted to be around the young kids, right.
Speaker 5:Yeah, yeah, yeah, he's asleep right now. Look at that man. You got to get people doing it became an industry legend. There we go. That's so to my uncle.
Speaker 1:so to my uncle, my gangster brown uncle, there is a new endeavor called roofs in the box that just man from day one has taken off.
Speaker 12:When I first started getting in the roofing industry, what was happening was my fixed costs were always there, and so for me, I was looking at how can we kind of one, save on these costs, and then, two, how do I not lay people off during down times? But also maybe even the ability to pocket more money during the slow season or even the peak season. Since we've done this before, like with our Legion companies where we have virtual staffing from Argentina or Colombia, I'm like why don't we do the same thing in the construction business? Now, once we figured it out, we reduced their fixed costs by 70%, and so now during the downtime they have real, seasoned, veteran type of players, but during the uptime they pocket. 70% of their operational costs are now going back in their pocket, and then, when it's time to scale, you have the back end prepared, already ready to go to help them lift off. Depending on what state you're in, you're averaging about 12.5% on what you pay out on taxes, insurance, like all the different insurances that you have to pay out, right? So, yeah, you don't have to pay out unemployment, you don't have to pay out bike insurance, medicare, social Security the things that business owners have to eat.
Speaker 12:Roofs to Box is not just limited to roofing or home improvement companies. You can use it for any services, right? You can use it for IT. We use them internally for data cells, for hygiene, for analytics. It doesn't even matter what the vertical is Like business in a box at the end of the day, pretty much, yeah.
Speaker 1:Represent Lebanon, right, yeah, yes, sir.
Speaker 5:Yo.
Speaker 1:Let's go walk out there. Yeah, let's take a walk, let's take a walk, let's take a walk. Yo man, you know what he?
Speaker 5:did. Let's introduce you guys to the gang you motherfuckers don't got to be here.
Speaker 1:You know why he's here. He wanted to be one of the young guys. He wanted some action.
Speaker 5:That's what life's about, man, you need some fucking action baby. Nice flying private man.
Speaker 1:Say hi to of the camera. Carlo means uncle in Arabic. This is my uncle, he's my OG, uncle. Mic'd up, by the way, man. Yo Chris, how's your first private jet experience? This guy, by the way, og in the industry, great media buyer, creative, fucking legend. How you feeling, man? How?
Speaker 7:you loving life right now. I love this. This is cool. The networking has been great, Just. I love this. This is cool. The networking has been great, Just making bonds. I think this is the most you know value. First time has been awesome.
Speaker 1:I love it, bro. I'll tell you what From the first few seconds first few seconds. If you got other shit, I got a pest control media buyer Boom. I got the direct buyers here. We got a deal going. We already paid for ourselves.
Speaker 7:Got to put ROI off this and we're discussing personal. I'm not used to doing this, but whatever yeah, personal injury, you know we're learning about that. I think there's so many other like verticals to explore that are just untapped that no one's really even talking about. And then you hear the other side of it and the revenue that's being produced. So there's great payoffs in that shit too. Oh my gosh insane. My brain is spinning.
Speaker 1:I'm spending right now. I heard some states will pay like fucking $2,000 a case or $3,000 in California. Man, you do any personal injury? Yeah, you do personal injury, like those leagues. No, no, no, yeah, home service is our biggest.
Speaker 5:I'm pushing an MBA right now. How's your experience so far? Are you like 40% of our business right?
Speaker 6:now is legal.
Speaker 2:It's amazing, you know, I would say this is the highest quality, mastermind, highest quality, and all thanks to you, buddy.
Speaker 1:Oh, no appreciate it.
Speaker 2:Thanks to all of you guys If.
Speaker 1:I need traffic, bro, if I need traffic.
Speaker 5:If my customers need traffic, this event is incredible man.
Speaker 7:Manny said great things about it, and you know I missed the first one, so I can already see like this is going to be amazing.
Speaker 1:Let me tell you in the first one, because you got like an eclectic group on this one. The last one was great, don't get me wrong. It was a great time for the first time. Is there more people here than the first one?
Speaker 7:Oh yeah, the first one, I think we had 22.
Speaker 1:How big was the first one. The first one was like 20, 22. This one's going to have like 40.
Speaker 5:Oh wow, a little drama with the management. Fuck it, man, it's okay. It's okay, Money talks you know.
Speaker 1:So anyway, yeah, we got casino operators in this motherfucker. We got a direct home improvement buyer here as well. We got media buyers doing all sorts of stuff. We got Maury's BPO. We got Maury's BPO in the house, Envision in the house doing big things. We got Red Wave, we got Excite. Yeah, you got it all. How are you feeling right now?
Speaker 8:Oh man, this is great. Man, this is great. I think the first one was a lot of value and the idea of this mastermind is very private. You know everybody's very open to sharing, like you know, very transparent sharing what's working in the industries, the verticals. But I think that this time around, you know there's some people from the last one and some new people. Yeah, I think it's going to be even more we. There's some people from the, from the last one, and some new people. Yeah, I think it's going to be even more like open. I think I think people, a lot of people, took stuff home from the last one and they applied it to a business, like we did. We applied a lot of the stuff that we learned and it helped us at least, like you know, 1.5 X what we were doing. So in this one, so in this one, you know, we're not just takers, we're also givers, so we want to give a lot of value.
Speaker 1:You guys are speaking too.
Speaker 8:We're speaking, so we want to put a lot of value and also learn from other people. Man, it's very humbling to see so many people crushing it Hell yeah, in different things, different areas. And the fact that we can learn from each other, support each other, makes you feel like you're not alone. Man, exactly Makes you feel like you can grow and support each other.
Speaker 5:You love to see it. Nah like one thing I love about. Nah, go ahead.
Speaker 3:What was that? You got a mic over here. Oh, I got a mic.
Speaker 5:One thing I was going to say that I love about this space and you know it's like a problem that, like you know a lot of our call centers and stuff, and it's like back there you talk about your achievements to people and people think you're bragging, they think you're trying to show off and they either get jealous, they want to copy you or they just hate you or want to steal from you. You know what I mean. But with a group like us, it's like we share our achievements and our strengths and we learn from each other. We figure out how we can collaborate. Where are you strong and where am I weak? Where am I strong and where are you weak? How can we plug that together and fucking multiply together and make money together? You know what I mean and that's one thing I love about this space and this group of people that we got here. You know what I mean absolutely 100 man yeah I got great ideas.
Speaker 1:Legion world was good too, by the way. Legion world was fucking man. We got a lot of good shit off with that. So I yeah, at first I'm like man, we're fucking crazy, how did we do this after the holidays, after legion world? But it always works out, man, you get good people together, shit works the fuck out. Hustler season hustler season for legion.
Speaker 8:I think that legion world is good for like networking and meeting. You know buyers, publishers, whatever. This is good for really really knowing what happens in the trenches.
Speaker 3:You know what happens in the business.
Speaker 8:What things do you apply to your business that really helps you out, like I think that's what this is all about, man, so I really enjoy that and, like I said, you have to be open to sharing, because if you don't share, if you're only a taker no one wants to share. I got that from you, you gotta, you know you gotta give and take.
Speaker 5:You know what I mean bro, I had this one guy bro. He used to always he goes to these cs shows that I go to, and this kid, he always lingers by my booth. He always wants to. You know, like try to poach the people that are sitting here talking at my booth. Well, there was one of his customers that the guy had given me his number. He like sells him some AI chat bot and I sell him. You know, I'm trying to sell BPO, so there's no conflict of interest. In fact we could collaborate a lot together.
Speaker 5:And I text the guy for his number because the guy had already given me his number. I just couldn't find it and, like, he made me jump through hula hoops and started asking me how many people am I going to introduce to him? After I had already taken this guy out to dinner a mad times, giving him a few introductions already, and I was like yo, he's like, can you introduce me to Ecom guys? I'm like, bro, I know all the Ecom OGs. He's like like who, like who. And I'm like, dude, you're being mad police. Like I'm going to introduce you to them, just give me the guy's number.
Speaker 1:Corey's got a good sense of. He knows how to read people really well.
Speaker 5:And after I give the guy, I name dropped Zeeshan, who we're about to meet up with in Medellin, and he looked him up on LinkedIn. He's like this guy and I'm like, yeah, he's like all right, cool, he goes. Let me text the guy to make sure it's cool that I could give you his number and I'm like yo, bro, you know what, forget it, I don't even fucking want it. Like I hate when someone is a value drain and they don't even think to give any value back. You know what I mean. It's like you just like you're going to be a taker. They're such short-term takers they don't realize that no one is going to want to keep them around and work with them long term. When they're like that good shit, you get value, you get value back. Exactly.
Speaker 8:Sometimes you give without expecting any return and you'll get it back right. Right if you keep the right energy, bro 100%.
Speaker 5:God is gonna give what you put into the world back to you. Plant the seeds and you know most of them grow. Reap what you sow 100% yo let.
Speaker 1:Reap what you sow, 100%.
Speaker 5:Yo, let's go over to India here. Yeah, let's go to New Delhi real quick. We're going to India right now.
Speaker 1:We got to get Yo. Look at this shit we got some heavy hitters man.
Speaker 9:Yo what the fuck we got the turbulence.
Speaker 7:Oh, I know them, man Okay.
Speaker 14:Yo Vipu man.
Speaker 1:How's your experience on the jet to theemented Gene man? How are you liking it so far?
Speaker 9:So far. So far, I've learned so much from Matt already.
Speaker 1:You guys are a legend man, yeah.
Speaker 9:You guys never met him at a show or nothing, right? No, we never met before never, yeah, it's just amazing. I've learned so I mean, like one is like his strategy on the front is like how he's going straight whites and not targeting like all the states together, and his way of capturing data and also optimizing on Google is like something we don't do. So we, once we find a winner, we scale, and he's like not scaling crazy, but like managing the ROI, so that's pretty cool, and you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1:Vipul's been in the game for a long time. Yeah, you want to mic up? Oh, me.
Speaker 1:Oh sorry, I'm not used to this Vipo has been in the game for a long time. You and Nipun, right, you guys are doing big things and for you to, you're consistently learning man, and you know like I'm not you're putting up big numbers, I know you are, but you know that, man, good stuff, man, you excited about medellin, very excited dude. What's crazy. Like I feel like already, like if this shit ended right now like I, I got so much fucking value at home man like it's gonna get better and better and better I'm really excited, also nervous.
Speaker 9:I've heard so many stories so I don't know what to expect now yeah, I know, man.
Speaker 1:Uh, well, we're gonna talk about, we're gonna talk, we're gonna talk about some, uh, some fucking do's and don'ts, you know what. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. I'll talk about this tomorrow. This shit was hard, man, because we had the holidays and I had a great time with my family. Then we had Legion World and then, like, we meant to put an agenda out like a week ago, but every fucking day we're doing some shit, and then you were at a Legion. It was crazy. It's going to be a good time, no matter what man, I'm pumped up. Thank you guys. Thanks for coming from so far away. I know you guys are out far as fuck. Rohit, let's go. This guy was at LFG, so we got to get you on that shit. We'll get everybody. Well, you're on it right now, but, bro, how's your experience?
Speaker 6:been so a lot of stories too, that you know you could be literally robbed off and shit like that. But I'm, I'm with my crew, so I'm I'm pretty happy, like we're all together. We're not doing any flashy stuff, we're happy and I'm already like learning so much. We're just brainstorming a lot of ideas. We do home services, he does a lot of home services, so we're already brainstorming person I'm talking to right now, I imagine like we'll be with a bunch of 30 people, so I'm already super excited about it, looking forward to it. Let's fucking go, great, great shirt too, by the way.
Speaker 1:Thank you, I need that color.
Speaker 6:You like that shirt, man, it's a nice shirt.
Speaker 2:Thank, I get rid of that.
Speaker 1:Oh man, sweet. First time we meet. I know we kept missing each other at the show. I'm glad to have you, attila. I had dinner with Attila yesterday. He had nothing but great things. You know what he said about you. Like he told me a time like someone was sick in his family and you brought him some stuff for them to feel better. That's some cool shit, man.
Speaker 3:Yeah, he's a good friend. I've been knowing him for like 10 years now. Yeah, we've been doing some stuff together since the last couple of years, so yeah.
Speaker 1:What do you?
Speaker 3:specialize in? What's the main vertical? My main vertical since last like 10 years is Nutra, and then I'm into lead gen, on and off since 2017. I used to do auto calls back in 2017 when paper call was not a thing. But yeah, I'm getting back into Legion this year, so a lot to learn from all of the guys. You're not doing auto right now? No, I'm not. I'm into home improvement, like roofing and windows.
Speaker 1:Oh good we got to talk because I do a lot of that. But auto people are blowing it up with that shit. People are doing really good with auto.
Speaker 3:Right now I heard for the same Auto is growing, growing like at a very fast scale. Yeah, I was talking to a ratchet. He's also saying that he's doing some big numbers in order. So, yeah, a lot to learn from all of the guys.
Speaker 1:I love it. This is where you got to be is where the shit happens. Well, good to have you here, man. That's all this. Get ringed by one of the sponsors in the house.
Speaker 14:We got Eric represent.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we went from. We went for India to Chicago. That's what we're doing. What's happening? Oh sorry, we got to do that. How has the experience been so far?
Speaker 14:Unbelievable. I mean from start to finish. It's absolutely amazing, right? Yeah, you know, super fortunate to be a part of it, super fortunate to be a part of the industry. It's outstanding. It's growing like leaps and bounds every day. Ringma's doing some amazing things. Our roadmap is off the charts, what with other customers. Some of them are even on the plane with us today.
Speaker 1:Absolutely awesome, and being here with you, like give the insight that you're giving me because I'm in home service as a home improvement the stuff we've been talking about. Man, I got a lot of aha moments and shit that's actionable right now that I'm going to take back to my team, to the media buyers so that we can in a private jet. Right now you have no choice, but when you're at the events which I love, don't get me wrong there's so much space you get lost. But here we have to talk with each other Like we're here. How the fuck do we make money together?
Speaker 14:How do we add value to each indicative of the industry as a whole, right? So Adam wrote the book, but everybody on the plane has been sharing all sorts of insider information. Everybody on the plane wants to help each other, but it's it also happens throughout the industry as well. So every time you go to a show, every time you talk to somebody else, they always want to help, they always want to give you some insider information, they always want to make you better. It's amazing. I've never been a part of an industry that's ever done something like that, right? Everybody that gets to the top always kind of keeps it hush-hush. They don't want somebody else following With this industry, they want everybody at the top. So I mean, people love doing things like this and getting together and having almost a mini mastermind on the planet of itself, right, and you?
Speaker 1:said something that resonated with me because we both trade stocks, right, I trade options too, and I went to college at the dot-com bubble in New York the dot-com bubble in New York and the most valuable thing is information. Man, with information you can get ahead of the curve and that's what rules the markets, right? Someone's got information that you look at their. There's a guy that has Cripper Financial. They follow what Congress buys and whatever, and the portfolio's up like quadruple normal right, because these people they know what's moving, right. So that's the idea that you get this information you don't get anywhere else. That's the point of having these masterminds, getting people like you that know what's going on together, and it's so fucking valuable. I can't emphasize that enough.
Speaker 14:Yeah it's absolutely invaluable. Like I said, everybody is giving up trade secrets, everybody's trying to help everybody. Like I've said, I've never seen anything like that right. Like everybody wants everybody to win, they're telling everybody, they're giving pointers, they're showcasing how they've done it. Yeah, it's absolutely amazing.
Speaker 1:It's awesome. I love it. All right, man, we're going to have a good time over there. We got my man here, man. What's your name? Davey brother? What's your name? Davey, Davey? Yeah, you know what I didn't know about you, man? Lot of things, man. I mean let's talk more about it, and I'm glad to have you here because, listen, we got most of you guys are doing lead gen, you're doing paper code, but it sounds like you've done a lot of different things, so I want to learn more.
Speaker 2:I started off with Search, avid Raj. I work very closely with Google, bing and Yahoo. I'm a reseller for Google. That's where I started. I used to do lead gen back in the day. Getting back to it started with auto, also launching a browser which is a rewarded browser.
Speaker 1:I saw that in your email. I was like what the hell is Santa Browser? It's a good name, by the way.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so it's Christmas, every day Christmas every day.
Speaker 1:I like that.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's a rewarded browser. The more you browse, the more money you make. Wow, so we launched it on Christmas Day. Oh, 2024? Yeah, 2024, christmas, wow, yeah, that's amazing. So, looking for distribution. You know this is a good event. I'm meeting a lot of like-minded people exploring opportunities. People are forthcoming, you know sharing a lot of ideas, let's go.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we need that, we need that.
Speaker 6:No, I'm glad you guys did it, because I wanted to do that song.
Speaker 1:I wanted to do that song, but I didn't want to offend anybody, but that's the song we got to play. This that's Punjabi. Are you guys Punjabi? Yeah, oh, I had no idea. I had no fucking idea. All four of us, bro. This was my shit in college, man, yeah.
Speaker 9:Yo, maury, maury, look at this college man I love this bro, let's go.
Speaker 7:This is original too.
Speaker 1:Let's go, baby Bro this is original. Look at Mario, look at Mario's over there, look at his breath. Uncle woke up. I thought this guy wanted to go right at him. That's awesome, man. Yo, we need a Chaya Chaya, chaya Chaya. You know that one Chaya Chaya, that's another good one. I like Chaya Chaya. Yeah, that's a real legend, bro, that is so great man.
Speaker 1:We got Matt Baran representing. That's a good one. That's a good one, that's a real legend. Bro, that is so great man. We got Matt Baran representing. Are you from Michigan? I am from Michigan. Chance, the producer of the LFG show.
Speaker 9:He's from Flint Michigan. Go fucking Lions, go Lions baby.
Speaker 1:Go Lions man. You guys got a good shot. I wore his Eagles and played the Lions and listen, if the Lions beat the Eagles, I'm not going to be mad because I like the coach.
Speaker 13:Great fucking guy you won, like Super Bowl or something we won.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we won. We never won one, that's true. Yeah, that's why I won't be mad. It'd be a good team to lose to if we lose, which I think we will. But listen so, matt man, great, blew me away, because we're doing YouTube too. It's good for us, but you're doing it seems like you're doing it better, man. So it's going really well right now, bro.
Speaker 13:Is that what you specialize in? That's what I dude. I like it's one of those things where, like I was like a solo, solo dude and like I learned fucking YouTube and like I would love to move to Facebook but like it's great for lead gen for fucking home services roof windows, bath, walk-in tubs, you know. So it's fucking awesome, like it's just completely cool to be around here. A bunch of other people like to get to like know people in the same vertical. They're doing like fucking cranking it, like I am, you know.
Speaker 1:So yeah, and you know what it is. Youtube is just higher intent, man. At the end of the day, higher intent, the buyers are happy. It's not a lot of bait and switch shit that you see. From my experience it's not like you see on Native or you see on and there's no disrespect to Native, native's great, there's a value to that but really the YouTube's much higher intent. Our clients love it. Our, our issues are scaling the shit out of it.
Speaker 13:That's our issue. Well, I mean, there's ways to do that. Man, you know, come to Columbia Con, you'll fucking find out.
Speaker 1:That's why you got to be on the fucking private jet, because we're talking about how to scale fucking YouTube Proximity. You got to be in there. You got to be in the right rooms, the right spaces and that's where we're at. Fucking A dude, let's fucking go. All right, we got to go to the front. We got Andreas in this thing.
Speaker 5:Yo, Uncle, how you liking this shit.
Speaker 11:I love it, this shit, especially hanging around with young people like you here. This is the best. You guys are entrepreneurs, you guys are good, you guys are the best, and I like the field you guys are in. Yeah, high energy, man, high energy.
Speaker 7:Without energy, you're fucking gone man You're absolutely right.
Speaker 11:You guys are the best.
Speaker 1:We don't fuck. Look, we got the guy who got in there with the represent. Look at that, I'm going.
Speaker 11:And Mori is the best Mori is the best. You are the best, Uncle you are the best.
Speaker 1:Let me ask you what's your favorite memory of Mori?
Speaker 5:What's your favorite?
Speaker 11:Tell him be honest no, I can't say it. Is it X-rated? Yeah, too much. That's why I cannot say it.
Speaker 1:Let's do a less. X-rated memory of Maury Well less X-rated memory, A cute memory of him, like you know, dressed as a bunny or something. Yeah, a good memory One we can talk about.
Speaker 11:Yeah, like some diddy shit. You know Maury is a guy. He's full of heart. If you're in trouble and Maury is around you, maury will not leave you and I've seen this in my own eyes With people. He just met them one day or two days and then they get into some kind of problem and I saw him standing next to him. So he's full of heart.
Speaker 1:I've seen that myself. I know that's true.
Speaker 11:He's a straightforward guy, you know he doesn't play around too much.
Speaker 1:The first. What, maury? I don't know if this is the first time. One of the first times I met you, you had your dad with you and your dad remembers when he met me, right yeah yeah, yeah, it wasn't the first time I met you.
Speaker 5:The second or third time it was like San Diego. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, because I met you in Vegas two weeks back-to-back and then I saw you in San Diego. I had brought my dad with me and my mom Well, it's good to bring your parents.
Speaker 1:I'm going to bring my mom you inspire me. I'm bringing my mom on a private jet. Bring your parents, the people that love you. Get them on fucking.
Speaker 1:Let them experience this shit man and I'm looking at Manny in particular because you're Cuban, right? My mom's Venezuelan and we talked about that when we interviewed my family sometimes think I'm crazy. They think I'm like they worked hard. I love them, but they kind of have that scarcity mindset. They're employees, they got that employee mindset. So they see us fucking, you know putting up numbers and like yo, save that money. We save money. Don't get us wrong. We're good, but sometimes you coming on a jet like this costs money. But guess what the ROI is? We know, yeah, it's an investment. You spend five, six grand on this. I just had some shit. I guarantee you it's going to make me six figures, at least six figures, if not seven figures. That's the kind of shit this is. So that's the mentality.
Speaker 8:You got to expose yourself to this circle and it costs money sometimes to be around people like this, you know. But at the end of the day, like you said, one idea, one conversation sparks something in your head, bro. The outright on that is that's all you need. That's all you need, I mean you're the creative genius.
Speaker 5:You gotta manifest your network. You gotta be in the room for shit to happen. You know it's funny the thing you were mentioning about your mom. I remember. Rest in peace to your father. After your dad's funeral Yo.
Speaker 1:Mario came to my dad's funeral. My dad passed away February. Man, Fucking toughest day of my life. It's about to be a year. He was there, man. He came to the fucking funeral. I think you helped me with the casket, right you?
Speaker 5:helped me lift the casket.
Speaker 1:I think so, and I he had other shit going, all like listen.
Speaker 5:That meant a lot to me, you know what he came to my dad's funeral man, oh he did.
Speaker 1:He helped me lift my dad's casket man Big. Thing.
Speaker 5:But I remember one thing we had dinner after and you thanked me for telling your mom.
Speaker 1:Oh, yeah, because my mom was worried, like I just like I told his mom.
Speaker 5:I'm like David will never go broke. And I was like I told his mom and I'm like every time David drops 2K, 3k on a dinner, taking a bunch of people out, he's going to get that business back in return.
Speaker 1:Yes, a hundred times.
Speaker 5:And and like this smile on her face when David saw that he's like yo. Thank you for telling my mom that Cause when she heard it from someone else like he felt like it clicked with her more.
Speaker 1:She could hear it from me all fucking day, but you know it's like what is it. But she hears it from somebody else, someone successful, well you're successful too.
Speaker 5:Yeah, it's the same with my parents. Like I tell them something, sometimes they don't believe.
Speaker 1:I can see why you told me that made him so happy. We talked about sharing. I impacted your dad. I'm not saying you did it to do it as a favor.
Speaker 9:It just works.
Speaker 1:It just happened naturally, I had to take the zit out of my mouth. That's how I get the buzz. It makes me feel loopy. We got to get my man, pesci, in the house. This guy is full of energy. He's doing big shit. He's't reggaeton. You don't a lot of shit, right, but you know what?
Speaker 10:What's the move, man? How you feeling about this shit, man? Oh man, I'm excited, excited man. I want to learn from all you guys, man, and it's a great experience.
Speaker 1:What do you? Are you pumped up or what, man? How you feeling, man? You know, I feel like. A lot of times, man, you get these butterfly feelings. When you were a kid, you opened up a gift. This is going to be a fucking amazing event.
Speaker 10:You feel the same way. Oh, I feel great. I feel great. I feel like we're going to learn a lot and we're going to just you know what I'm saying get together A lot of money, a lot of revenue is going to come out of this here, bro 305 Shark, we got to shout out, carlos. Corona yeah, definitely, you know what I'm saying. So we're just excited man, we're just happy man. Good shit, we got to go to.
Speaker 1:Andreas, over there, this guy's a one-man show Fucking put on massive numbers. Yeah, he's doing everything himself, man. Did you know that? I didn't know that. Let's go see this guy, man, he's over there, this guy. Look at this guy here. We got to what's going through your mind right now, man.
Speaker 4:I'm just enjoying the ride and I'm enjoying what's going through the conference.
Speaker 1:Yo Andreas was dropping bad knowledge before he was talking about how? Dude, I don't know how you do it, man, because I did it myself when I started coming. I was a one-man show, I was putting up good numbers, I was stressed the fuck out. But you have a different perspective. Like you get shit automated and you go on nature walks. You're really into nature and that time alone helps you reset to get more creative and make more money. Right, exactly.
Speaker 4:That gives you power and energy to operate and do all these things. And obviously I enjoy that much Because I think about the numbers when I wake up, I think about the numbers when I close my eyes. I'm just always excited about it. I like that thrill unpredictability and it just thrills me every time.
Speaker 1:I love it, man and bro, you know what's funny? I didn't tell you this, but I was. I forgot who the fuck told me this. But when you go places, you stay at the best place. You stay at the Versace mansion, right? So this guy I know he didn't know you were there he goes there. He said I don't know where the fuck he's at, I think he's eating or something. All of a sudden he sees you swimming in the pool. He said one guy's swimming in the pool it was fucking Andrea swimming in the pool with a Versace magic ring. Did you know that? Yeah, you knew that. Who said that? But I was like man, that's fucking funny because I can picture you there all like in your world, you know.
Speaker 4:Yeah, because we were about to have breakfast with Carlos. Yeah, and only people who live there are allowed to swim in that pool before 11 am, so I was swimming before Carlos came. Did you get?
Speaker 1:good ideas in that pool. Plenty of very good ideas. I'm sure you did, man. That's what it's all about. Anyway, bro, I love you man. I'm glad you're here. I can't wait to see you at the show. You're going to drop a lot of knowledge. I know you are man Fucking pumped up. Thank you for making it, man. Let's drop the knowledge. Let's go. Let's fucking go.
