People feel energy. This guy right here's got great energy. This is Nigel Williams. From the day I met you, always had good energy. It's always been great energy, man. You see it in your eyes, bro.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and I'm really happy you started doing this, man. Let's fucking go. We don't joke, man. Let's make that money. No money, no honey. Yeah, how you say you're French? No money, no honey. I know Max did it one time. How you saying no one, no money. Oh my god, don't don't get me got me off gun here. That's from Montreal. Even though I speak French as well, it's like a hard one.

Name As Currency And Trust

SPEAKER_00

It's gonna come back. Oh, yeah. I'll come back to listen, guys. Going back to the energy shit, right? It's it's so important. Nigel says something offline that I want to reiterate. What do you say? He my name is my currency. No, I my currency is my name. My name is my currency.

SPEAKER_01

You know, that's it. You know, when I'm walking around and like I put my name to something, it means something. It's like, okay, if I say, listen, David's a guy for this, and I just introduced somebody to whatever. Right away, the guards come down because the introduction came from Nigel. Nigel doesn't play around. You know what? I got a nickname from this show from uh Beth. Uh Beth used to be on EOCO. She goes, because I gave her a nickname a few years ago. It was called the Big Business Back. And it's been four years she's trying to come up with a nickname for me. She came up with one this morning, and I love it. She's like, You're no nonsense, Nigel. I'm like, I'm running with that. I am running with that. That's good. But that's the thing, you know? I don't waste your time. We're good energy, we have fun, whatever. When it comes to business, I'm on point. So if I say I got this or he got that, or whatever, that shit's for real.

SPEAKER_00

How much of social media has helped you? You post your stories, you're here, you're there. And I think people feel that fucking energy. They they might not even know it. This happens with all the time. People are like, yo, I don't even know what the fuck you do, but I want to do business with you, right? I'm sure that happens for you too, right?

Social Energy That Drives Deals

SPEAKER_01

That shit just happened in December in uh affiliate world Asia and Bangkok. Yeah, uh, Bangkok, yeah, that's Gaku. So this guy came up to me and says, Hey, Nigel, man, I just wanted to meet you in live. You know, we've been friends on Facebook, Instagram for years, you know. I love seeing your stuff, man. You're always having a good time, you're having fun, you're smoking your cigars, whatever. I want to do business with you. What could we do? So, oh yeah, that's really nice, man. That's cool, you know. It's like, yeah, you know, take a selfie with him. We put it in our telegram. He goes, Yeah, he's doing auto insurance, but I go, I got a great auto insurance. Within three days, we're started. He ended up being my number one guy in December. Uh what? This is crazy. So, you know, your images is everything, you know. Like, like I said, you know, my name is my currency, you know, on my personal brand, Nigel Williams, that means something. You know, it's uh my energy the way I am, that's how I do business, that's how I conduct my life. You know, if you like it, great, you don't? Okay, you know, birds are feather flocks together, that's where it kind of sounds, right? And so branding, yeah. Yeah, it's good stuff. And you know what? I love this show, uh, the LFG show. Because as I got in this industry, there's a lot of I don't know who's a who, you know, and I'm watching your stuff, and I see how you're uh interviewing a wide array of people, you know, everybody from government chiefs guy to you know all kinds of different people, and I don't know who they are. So every time I watch the show, I'm learning, you know. I'm still a student of life, and I'm just like, oh wow, there's that guy. Oh, that guy's doing these kind of numbers. Oh my god, that's cool, you know, whatever, you know. So uh thanks a lot to you, man, for putting on a show like this because I really, really like it. It does help me out as well. And it's inspiring me. I'm gonna do my own podcast.

SPEAKER_00

I love it, man. I'm excited. I'm and I love that you and I'll tell you what, you know, we won uh we won the Affie Award yesterday, and I I I don't know, I wasn't as prepared as I wanted to be when I got on stage, but then after I got off stage, I'm like, fuck, I wanted to thank this person, that third person. But John Castle, Bulletproof Scaling, fucking love John, right? Nice guy, really nice guy. Great guy. He's got a great telegram community, guy's amazing. He inspired me to do this. I for like a year, I'm like, I should do a podcast because I know so many heavy hitters. I know people that came from nothing that are fucking putting up huge numbers, and they're good people too, that the world needs to know their fucking stories, exactly, right? So we have we went up to uh we went to Pelicon, shout out to Spooky Carter. He had an event in uh Tampa back in 2023, I think it was. So I don't even fucking know. And man, I had a few drinks, I was a little bit wild that night, but man, I'm like, I'm calling my call, so I'm hyped up, and they're they're they're capturing me on camera, man. Joel, Joel, uh John Castle's partner, cameraman, it's capturing me. And bro, they put this online and people loved it. They're like, they're forwarding that shit. I said some of the crazy, like, yo, it's hard to be humble, you a one man rumble, and people love that shit, right? Yeah, you gotta sign it. He was like, bro, you got the personality you should be doing. Like, you know what? Fuck it. I'm gonna do it, man. And then six months later, I did it, right? But that's what it comes down to is that and look, you have a great audience, yeah. You know, and when I love the quality of your show, I love what's going on, you know. So you do what you do. That means a lot to me that that you're gonna do it and whatever way we can support you. And I know you're gonna put up and good stuff. And listen, you're you're you travel the world, right? And that's a beautiful thing. When for me, this is perfect for me and it's perfect for you because we travel the world. All you do, you bring your your phone, you don't need any fancy look, this isn't like a fancy fucking setup, nothing's super crazy.

SPEAKER_01

The value is in the content, you know. Exactly. We don't need no crazy production or whatever, you know. You know, it helps that you're all these exotic places, you know, because you know, we're in Ediza, we're in Bangkok, whatever. So we're naturally got great background or great locations, type thing, you know. But it's the value of the content that's really, really important. And that's why people keep coming back, uh, even myself being, you know, uh uh a very proud uh listener of your show and follower.

Why This Show Matters

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, thank you. And I think that okay, then and it kills two birds with one stone because we're shooting content, we're bringing value. I get to know more about you. I've done business with a lot of the guests, you know. Some has worked, some haven't worked. And I've done stuff for like new. I got a government contracting business right now because of government cheese. And we're making money. It's like we're not making a huge amount of money, but I got I got a decent amount of money in the bank. I don't run the business. I got so I got my brother-in-law, he's running the business, but I put David Packhouse on the show the other day, and this the government's got to spend like a trillion dollars, and the American government gotta spend a trillion dollars the next couple months. They have to spend a trillion dollars. I'm like, why the fuck am I not paying more attention or why do I hire someone to focus more on these government contracts? But you know, I talk to these people and I learn as well. And then guess what? I get to do business with them on the back end. Like it's it's just such a fucking way. The audience learns, we all win, man.

SPEAKER_01

And and it's awesome, you know? And you never know when you're gonna be able to do business with some exactly why it's important to keep your character an amazing character at all times. I I'll give you an example. You know, I'll be going to these conferences and uh I smoke cigars. So I'm in a section, you know, smoking cigars, and everybody that you see at conferences and they're always smoking cigars, you know, it's like, okay, you gravitate toward each other, right? So one of these guys that's smoking cigars for like seven years, we couldn't do a business together. Then finally I had something going on. I said, Hey, dude, to finally do business together. Okay, yeah, come to the booth tomorrow morning, 10 o'clock. All right, cool. Go to a booth, he's and he's the owner of the company, right? He doesn't do daily operations. He goes, these are my three department heads, boom, boom, boom, boom. Nigel says you could do business with it with you guys now. Let's make it happen. And he walks away. He was my number one client for like five years. Wow. In a row, type thing after that. But for seven years, we couldn't do any business, you know. So it really, really, you know, just keep a good energy, be a good person, or whatever. You never know when good stuff will come your way, but it will surely come.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and I think you know, probably what helped that situation was the it's funny because I kind of got into cigars recently. I'm not a no tiny, I'm not like a cigar connoisseur, but I I I know guy, like I know some guys that do pretty well, they make some good money. And these guys smoke like the finest fucking cigars. I got this shit coming out of Cuba, like, and they give me free cigars. Yeah, so like, hey, take this cigar, man. I smoke one of them. And some of them were fucking like, bro. But when you're sitting down, like I went to Miami, a place called Empire, and I'm sitting down with these heavy hitters, and you're relaxed, you're in a relaxed environment. So I think it's just sometimes with these shows, the only issue is that it's so fast. It's like speed dating. That is the issue. So that the follow-up is really the key. But when you can go off site and you can smoke a cigar with somebody, and it takes at least 45 minutes, it's cigar before you're sitting there with them, right? That's where it is. It's a more intimate, it's more conducive, is what it comes down to, right? So, yeah. And you know what?

SPEAKER_01

There happens to be a good quality people that go to cigar lumbers. So let me tell you, when I started living as a digital nomad in 2018, sold my house, bought a one-way ticket to Thailand, and like I'm just going everywhere. And I go to cigar lounges everywhere. So I go to cigar lounge there, smoke with some guys, end up meeting this guy who used to work at wealth management for Dole Aid and Touche in London for 20 years. So he knows wealth management and how to structure everything. You pay the least amount of taxes or no taxes legally, blah, blah, blah. So I said, Hey, yeah, I'm about to leave the Canadian system, you know, it's like I'm going on my own and I don't know where I'm gonna live here or whatever. He goes, When you're ready to leave, call count, just come here calling. So I give him a call, whatever, and he legally structured me because I paid zero taxes legally corporate, you know, from a guy I met cigar lounge smoking cigars. Yeah, you know what I mean?

Content Over Production

SPEAKER_00

This is amazing shit, you know. Yeah, and then you know, I'm glad you talked about that because I know a lot of what we talk about LG shows making money, but you gotta save fucking, you gotta minimum minimize your tax exposure too. That's a whole other fucking thing. When you're I know guys live in Puerto Rico, you got they're paying four percent. They got and doors, and it's and they have to go through their their the ringer, like they have to pay 181 days or 185, I don't know, so there's a certain amount, but all kinds of stuff. So like the thing is that there's a lot of people, there's so many ways to save money, some ways, legal ways to minimize your tax exposure, and people don't talk about that enough. Man, I just saw my accountant last week and we're we're looking through all my stuff, and I got I got so much stuff going on, so many different entities or whatever. But the bottom line is that bro, this is important stuff to talk about. People don't talk about enough. And I think I'm gonna get a tax expert on this show at some point. Yeah, that's and I'm glad you said that because it's so fucking important. People overlook it. You think about you spend taxes 30, 40, 50 years, whatever the fuck it is. If you could save fucking 2,000, 3,000, whatever that, and you add that over time, my god, man.

SPEAKER_01

Dude, forget about that. Imagine I come from Canada where you make over$60,000 you're taxed at 50 something percent right away, type there, you know? That's crazy. The corporate's the corporate tax, not too too bad, about 32%. Let's say all right, fine. So now I'm legally doing zero on both tax play bad. All right. What do you think you should do with that money? You take that money, you put it whatever you still you were comfortable to live without that extra savings that you got on the tax. So now you take that money and you start investing in real estate or whatever else you want, but just live within your means with what you were able to do before, take that other stuff and invest in it 10 years from now. You're already laughing. Laughing.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we have at ColumbiaCon too. We had uh Anker who who runs uh flight calls. I think he's a great investor. Yeah, he was the last speech. He doesn't speak at any events, he he he doesn't like it, but he did it for uh for Samara and I because he wanted to add value. He talked about investing, how he invests his portfolio, what he looks for. He broke this shit down, like it was amazing. He looks at all these crazy KPIs, yeah. It's not much different than internet marketing. He's he's watching this, he's watching, and he and he filters things down and then he pulls the trigger. Bro, he caught up four charts, and uh, of those charts, all those stocks are up 50 to 150 in a year. Because we did Columbia Con tour a year ago, and bro, we and I I didn't just so I missed some of those, I made some money on some, but you you have people like that, it's just fucking crazy. So, yeah, we're saying like you can make five percent, you can do whatever. You talk you it's about experts, and that's why we try to do LOJU. Get the fucking experts on there, experts in their marketing, you're a digital nomad. Let's talk about that in a bit too. But I'm glad you brought that up because this is shit people gotta think about, man. It's not what you bring in, man. Really? That's gonna be leaking out. You gotta stop the leaking.

Learning And Monetizing From Guests

SPEAKER_01

Uh, a good friend of mine who you know as well, but I'm not gonna say too too much about this because it hasn't developed yet. But his idea was to make a conference for the successful people at the uh uh in affiliate marketing and say, hey, okay, so you you made your money, you're reading all kinds of stuff, you know, but like what you're gonna do with that money to help you do. So we're gonna bring together like a bunch of investment people type thing to all those people who are making really, really good money and say, hey, okay, so this is if you want to get into real estate, this is this. If you want to get into primaries, this is this guy, yeah, whatever, you know, to help your grow money. And you know what? Media buyers is like the perfect, like what you just said before. They're like the perfect people to do this well. Yeah, because we're all about every single number, every single click, every dollar that goes into the click. What is it going? What's going on? Whatever. So we're inherently analytical people, you know? Yeah, this is another industry to be analytical about, yeah, you know, and affects the rest of your life.

SPEAKER_00

So you should pay attention to. And I I've heard this, I heard of guys are doing like um, they're doing a lead and they're doing offers with uh B2B tax, like high net worth individuals. That's probably like it's not gonna be a volume game like ACA or debt, where you can get thousands of leads a day. It's probably gonna be more like I don't know, like, I don't mean 25 to 50, but those are valuable, man. You know, you know, I don't know what the the payouts gotta be stupid, man. But that's that's something I think that you know, you go to these shows, so many people are swimming in the same pools, they're swimming in debt, uh, they're swimming in insurance, but there's shit that's under the radar, man. So many guys on day, they won't tell you, they don't want you to know that's where they're making the money, but there's shit like that that you're gonna really think about what's the problem, how you can solve that and make money.

SPEAKER_01

You know what? You had a great guy uh on your show uh recently from the um affiliate world um Bangkok show agents. Oh, Dion Peggy. I was good, yeah. I met him for the first time the day before it. That's a really smart guy, man. Yeah, and when it comes to like, you know, making money off the stock market, whatever, that is somebody I would highly recommend. And I was happy to see him on your show because I met him and he's really, really cool. And we're gonna do a deal together. I'm gonna help promote his uh, he's got two apps uh uh hybrid advisors.org and capraise.ai. Yeah. Uh two uh really cool uh financial uh uh businesses uh in the terms of apps. One is a financial community for help people learn how to invest in the stock market, and the other one is to help people um find people to raise money for their own uh business of raising capital, basically. But both, man, those guys are really, really smart. I don't really got to meet his partner, Tyler, but another. Oh, right.

SPEAKER_00

I miss bank up, but I'm glad Chance did a great job on that interview. Yeah. I was gonna say too, we this is where the sauce comes out of, right? The baby boomers in America, right? Mm-hmm. They're they're 70, they're 80, they're dying. This the generation, what's the generation before? Is that Gen X? I don't even know. They're gonna hurry. Like, I we're gonna hurry money. Yeah, a lot of don't motherfuckers don't know what to do with that money. That's why these apps, this is kind of shit you gotta look into now, because guess what's gonna happen? Two, five, ten years from now. They're gonna try to figure out what the fuck to do. They're gonna get their scammers out there, there's just that. They're gonna be lost. They're not gonna know what to do with money. So getting in this shit now, learning this shit is gonna be important, man.

SPEAKER_01

It's it's very important. I'm glad to see that there's some really display guys that are out there, they're honest people, being their, you know, straight shooters that got great energy like us and they know the time it is, you know. They're getting out there and and offering their services, which is a really beneficial service. A lot of people in this room are making stupid amounts of money, but I don't know how many people are keeping it, yeah, or they're gonna be able to pass it on. And oh, that's a whole other story. I don't know the answer to that.

SPEAKER_00

I'm pretty sure you don't need, you know. No, it's I just I've been there too. I've fucking crazy years, spent so much money on boiling. Like, what the fuck? Well, as long as that's it, it happens, man. But that's how you learn. Start over again. Yeah, you're that's how you learn, then you do the right thing, man. But I think that's great that you're on. I think you're gonna see more of that, more people are. I think if there's like nine innings of that shit, that's probably first inning. That that's not even maybe the bottom of the first inning. I don't know. So let's I want to talk about this because I think this is uh you mentioned something, right? Digital nomad. Would you consider yourself a digital nomad? Let me explain.

Cigar Rooms, Patience, And Big Clients

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So in 2018, I thought I was a digital nomad. All right, I sold my house with almost everything in it, you know, put it in this was in Montreal. Yeah, in Montreal, uh, December 2018. And then I bought a one-way ticket to Thailand and it just started bouncing around, I think everywhere. I was going to Columbia, I've been going to uh Panama, all over the place. Then the pandemic hit, and I was in Bali. I was like, man, they're shutting down airports, countries, everything, you know. Let me get back to Montreal, you know. I want to be around my parents. My parents are elderly, so I was like, yeah, I want to get back around my parents, make sure, you know, let's ride this out. So I then, you know, went back uh for two years. And then when it finished, I started up again. And a good friend of mine, Jenny Gonzalez, who you know as well, yeah, uh, she said, Hey Nigel, I think you're gonna like uh Portugal. And I went over there, like that's all she wrote. Now I live there. But I was following all these places, these digital nomad blogs and stuff, and it was only in Bali I realized that I am not a digital nomad. Okay. And most digital nomads don't have money. You know, they're there, they don't, you know, they're staying in hostels or whatever. I ain't staying in the hostel. Uh crazy, man. Last time I did, I was 18 years old, you know. And so I like the term location independent a lot better. Because that's a whole different, you know, you get away from the visual nomad, I don't have money type thing. It's just like, okay, you're doing your thing and you're location independent. Yes, I say I'm location independent, not a digital nomad.

SPEAKER_00

I I like that. And that ties into our, you know, we we move with the flow, right? As affiliate marketers, entrepreneurs, and um, that's like the whole thing, rent or own, right? Like just fucking a lot of people, like why people so it's like my eyes that don't want to buy a place, they feel like they're married, they want to be or move around, like, oh fuck it, I'm not gonna be locked the hell down, right? And I think that as affiliate markets, entrepreneurs, there's a value to that. And also, you learn so much when you travel. I guess you've you've been in Sali, you've been in Colombia, you've been in Tana, you've been in Portugal, you hear different things, like your brain just opens up a whole different like layer, man, that makes you smart, it gives you an edge.

SPEAKER_01

It's one of the best educations you can get, you know? When you're up there, you see other people, how they're living, how they're thinking, what's really happening, you know, versus what we learned. Yeah, you know. So, as an example, so now I'm living in uh Lisbon, right? I'm meeting a lot of people that are from uh Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique, a lot of people from Africa. I have never even been to Africa yet, nowhere, right? And what they're telling me and showing me what's going on in Africa, and I'm like, holy shit, I had no idea. What do you mean you got all these skyscrapers everything? I thought everybody was like, you know, running around uh playing with the lions. Yeah, because 90%, 90% of Africans haven't even seen a lion. I'm like, I've been lied to my whole fucking life, man. I don't know shit that's going on, man. I gotta get an education, I need to get out there. Wow, like it's no joke, you know. So just like a little thing like that is actually a big deal in terms of like, you know, education from and I'm pretty sure, you know, people in America, whatever, I don't know what you're learning, whatever, but I mean, I'm in Canada and I didn't even learn like the proper shit that it comes to Africa, so you just gotta get out there and see for yourself.

SPEAKER_00

You're right. We're we become very cultured as a result, right? Like it's a it's just forty man, how world would become, right? It's it's fucking 40, man. Yeah, okay. So you said something I want to touch upon this uh about digital nomads. Most digital nomads are broke, right? No offense, but it's I think it's part that's why you come digital nomad. You're trying to save some money, you're trying to do whatever, and it makes sense. But so let's say you're one of those digital nomads, you're someone listening here that's trying to figure out, right? They move to another country because they want to save money, they want to crack the shit. What's your advice? Like, how do you turn the corner?

Taxes, Structures, And Keeping Money

SPEAKER_01

Well, listen, you know, I love the whole world of affiliate marketing because that gives you the freedom to live life in your own terms. That's a real big deal, you know. A lot of people like to talk about affiliate marketing associated with Lambos and all that shit. I don't cater none of that shit, you know, like$700,000 watches and shit like that. That's not really what it's about for me. It's like I I I take more value than the person that I see, like just living life on their own terms, yeah. You know, being able to, uh, okay, uh, my kids got something really important coming up a soccer game or just that the other. And I don't have a job telling you that I can't go to this, you know, I can go and do this. You know, I got my own company, I got my own income, I got my I can live my life on my own terms, I can do what I want, you know. That's what's more important. So if somebody's a digital nomad right now, you know, my world is affiliate marketing, so I could talk about that. I was like, get yourself a skill that can work in the affiliate marketing world. Most people start off as um uh affiliates, you know, with media buying. But right now, we're in a we're in a creator economy, you know. You got your, I don't want to talk about uh OnlyFans in particular because that's associated with adult, but everybody could be their own creator on a TikTok or an Instagram or whatever, and then you could promote stuff for other people, get paid as an affiliate, or when you get big enough, people come to you and say, Hey, I'll pay you 10,000 a month to like, you know, promote my product or whatever, like that. And that is something, if you're gonna be a digital nomad, get yourself in that position. And the fact that you're gonna be moving around, so you could just say, Hey, you know, I'm promoting this product, you know, we're living our life out here in beautiful Bali or wherever it is, you know, that's an added plus of something that you're doing anyway that adds value uh to the content that you're making, I mean that's an amazing thing, you know. So, and now that you have like TikTok shop and stuff like that. Oh, yeah, it's so easy right now. The creator economy is so super huge, and it's just still beginning, you know. So I would say do something along those lines that fits your personality type and whatever, you could be making money in no time and be location independent.

SPEAKER_00

That's accurate. Well, that's what I was saying. How do you go from digital novad to location independent? That's what it got. I love that. That was a blueprint, right? That was that was phenomenal advice. And I was saying another point, these there's a lot of these young kids, and I feel like people talk shit about Gen Z. Some of these guys are fucking doing some crazy shit.

SPEAKER_01

Dude, listen, this when I was at um affiliate world in um uh Budapest this year, or the year just past, I think I met 10 affiliates between 21 and 29 years old that were doing major numbers. Major. One guy had a record with one of the companies, and it was their company rep who told me that this is the guy that has the record in our company$996,000 in one day. Wow. Okay, it's like this guy's not even 30 years old yet. I'm like, oh my god, you know, that's awesome, you know. So pretty cool. So these some of these young guys are doing some inspirational, man. They're just brave. It's like, yeah, that's working. Okay, headless in the metal, let's see what happens. Yeah, something breaks and the wheels fall off. Okay, it broke, the wheels fell off.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I think it's great, man. So you know what? Like, again, people talk a lot of shit about, but like, I'm hanging out. I went to an event where there was a lot, I was the oldest guy in this motherfucker, and I, you know, and I liked it. I'm like, this is great. And they look at me as like a fucking sage. Some of these guys are putting up double the numbers I'll fucking put up, and you know, like and it felt good. I'm like, this is great. They're doing shit with TikTok shops, they're doing live shopping shit that I don't I had no, I kind of understood, but now I understand a lot better. Yeah, fucking mark my words. I'm Make money on that shit too, and I'm making with those guys. I mean, that's the fucking point of being in those environments. If you're the fucking smartest person in the room, you're in the room, you're in the other room, man. You know, that's it, man. So yeah, it was good, man. And uh, and that's that's kind of like with this exposure, it gives you like this this this hunger, right? To learn more, and and yeah, that's why I went to this event.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and I I feel you on that, you know. You got a lot of younger guys coming up, younger girls as well, you know, um, doing amazing stuff, and they're coming to you, you or me, because they see you around all the time, you're on social media, kind of coming, hey yeah, there's a credibility, it's the credibility, yeah. But then I hear about what they're doing, I'm like, man, you're doing all right, man. You're doing really good. You know, it's like I like seeing stuff like that, and um, you know, there's a lot of examples like that, but I'm gonna save that content for my show.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so that's cool. I love it. That's good. That's that's a great way to wrap this up, guys. Hey, did anything else that we can touch upon? I feel like you got great good energy, man.
