Hi. Hi, it's so nice to meet you. Likewise. Um, so what are you most excited about for everyone to see in this movie?

Oh my gosh, I think all of the shenanigans. Yeah, so much happens. I'm excited for them to like laugh with us in the characters.

We all got to watch it together last night. And it's such a special feeling when you've made a movie and you cannot stop laughing. Seeing it all cut together, I realized I was feeling like a little jealous of people who get to watch it for the first time, having no idea what's coming. It's really such a testament to our writer and our wonderful director, and like they've just put together such a great family story that is so hilarious and so extra, and yet so full of heart. And I'm happy that we get to bring that to people as a great summer family movie. Yeah.

Oh, I love that. Yeah. Um, so were there any scenes that you had to do multiple takes and would make it on a blooper reel?

Oh my gosh. I think the bumper balls, we did that a lot of takes. Those are awesome. Should we do bloopers?

Did a lot of that. Um, we did a lot of takes with the dolphin.

Yeah, we did, oh yeah, yeah.

A lot of different varying degrees of like we went crazy and then pulled it back. They sort of went with a more subdued version of the dolphin stuff.

They kept it a little more subdued, but but we gave them a lot of choices. And if you watch the end of yeah, and if you watch the end of the film, you'll see a lot of the choices that we gave them.

I love that. Um, so what genre of movie would your life story be told as? Oh wow.

Mine would be a tra a tragedy, a sad, a sad tragedy. Uh no, what would mine be? Um, mine would be a feel-good one. I I think like sort of a motivational one. You know, I started in this business as a young actor and stand by me, and I'm still here 40 years later and still having a lot of fun. And uh yeah, I think it would have a happy ending.

I mean, yours feels very much like a coming of age story.

Yeah, definitely. You're in that house full of siblings and my family and growing up. Yeah, yeah.

Coming of age, that's good, right? Like big family story. Yeah. Um, it was like a dark comedy, a dramedy. I don't know. Some of it's been insane, some of it's been funny, some of it I've learned to laugh at, and here we are. But I do, I I like uh I like a good family comedy. Yeah, that's where I'd like to wind up. That's that's the goal. More of what we're doing. Thanks.

Oh, I love that. I would like to see those movies. Yeah. Um, so my final question for you is if you could give someone in your life a star on the walk of fame, who would it be and why?

Uh for sure. I would give my wife a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. My wife uh is uh been in this business for a while, um, still doing it, working more today, more than ever. Um and uh I don't know, I just love to give her a speech at the Hollywood Walk of Baby. It would be so fun for me. I'm not sure my wife would allow me to give her a speech. She'd probably choose like Ian McKellen of X-Men or like um one of her co-stars from Ugly Betty. Um but I yeah, I would love to give a speech. By the way, if you guys ever get your Hollywood uh, I was gonna say Hollywood Square Hollywood star, yeah. Um, I'm more than willing to give you a speech. I'm gonna give it, it's gonna be a really good speech. I promise to really put work into it. Uh, and I'm not just gonna read it, I'm gonna like really like emote it.

I've been um I've been to one Hollywood star uh ceremony, yeah, and um I was just a guest. I've I've been to two Hollywood star ceremonies, but I'm more than willing to like speak at yours.

Hard question. I went to one as well. I went with Marishka Hargate, our star. And it's like well, that's obviously who I would have wanted to give one to, but she has one, you know, like she's just so cool, yeah. And and to like to be her friend and to have been her coworker, she's just such a dynamic woman on screen and off. And I don't know, it's like I don't even I don't know how to top that. Just having been there to watch it, you know, it was so special.
