Good morning, everyone. Dan Gumet here in the studio, your host for the Monday Report. As always, and hey, as always, I'm here with my good friend, good old Frank T-Rex, there, manning the studio with me, as he always is. So we were on a little bit of a hiatus um as I was traveling, but I am back now, and here we are, live on the Monday report. Uh so what do we got going on? Well, as always, um, the Monday report being brought to you by the North American Hypnotherapy Guild. And right there's the QR code. Go ahead, scan it, and check out everything happening at the American Guild, and become a member. So, also, as always, it is being brought to you by the HypnoWorld magazine. QR code right there on the screen. Go ahead, scan it. Subscribe to the Hypno World magazine to be in the know all the things happening in the world of hypnosis. And be sure to check us out on our YouTube channel. Uh, like and subscribe. And be sure to watch all the great videos, all the things happening here in the world of hypnosis. As I've got my good cup of coffee here. It's my Las Vegas mug, which I got on Fremont Street. Uh while I whilst out there, I was at the Performing Hypnosis Summit. I think I was uh I was presenting at the Performing Hypnosis Summit. Uh, one of the great conferences that I have had the honor of being involved with since the start. So um pretty happy about that. So what are we talking about today? Uh, what are we talking about today? Well, hey, you know what? I mentioned Performing Hypnosis Summit, and that's what we're talking about today. We're talking about conferences, specifically the top conferences. We went ahead and did the research. I've been asked that question a lot. Which conferences do you go to, Dan? Which ones do you like to go to? Why do you like to go to them? What's the best conference out there? I get asked this question all the time. So we thought that would be something good to tackle. I went in and did the research, checked it out, and just had a pretty good time doing it. So some of the things that we did when we looked at these conferences were to how how did what was the criteria that we assessed from them? Well, I'm gonna I'm gonna talk about that real quick here. So some of the things that we looked at as we researched which conferences were gonna come out on top were attendee satisfaction, educational quality, uh, speaker depth, networking opportunities, ticket price value, travel cost, and accessibility, and overall atmosphere of the conference. And we got some great feedback, and this was all done by um what did we look at? So we looked at attendee reviews, industry discussions, uh, feedback of the conference. We looked at the conferences, we looked at the cost and travel of the conference, we looked at the overall atmosphere of the conference, and there were a lot of things that we put out there to look at. So let's talk about that, shall we? And we're just adjusting some things here on the show. So let's take a look at it. The top hypnosis conferences of 2026 and going forward. So, as always, we wanted to make sure that we were getting out the best information that we could. So, what are the best hypnosis conferences to attend in the 2026 season and the 2027 season and so on and so forth? Well, that's a good question because with more events available than ever before, choosing where to spend your time and travel budget and continuing education dollars can be a challenge. So, again, we're talking, we're ranking the top hypnosis conferences of 2026 based on seven key factors, right? And that is attendee satisfaction, education quality, speaker depth, networking opportunities, ticket price value, travel cost, and accessibility, as well as overall atmosphere of the conference and return on investment. That's a big one. Your ROI, return on investment. Uh, I think that's one of the most important ones out there for everybody, myself included. So those are some of the criteria. And the rankings were compiled using published conference information, attendee reviews, organizational representation, conference industry, industry discussions, and publicly available feedback. So let's begin. So let's take a look at them, right? So coming in at number one, and no surprise, there's no surprise that this one came in number one, and that is Hypnothoughts Live with an overall score of 95 out of 100. Hypnots Live has again takes that top spot. Um, for more than a decade, it's been considered the largest and most diverse hypnosis conference in North America, perhaps the world. So, what makes Hypnoth stand out is the incredible variety of educational tracks. Um, people will find clinical hypnosis, conversational hypnosis, uh stage hypnosis, business development, marketing, and those emerging specialties, all represented under one roof. The networking opportunities are exceptional, and the conference has built a pretty strong sense of uh community over the years. Uh now we also looked at some of the drawbacks on each one of these conferences, and we have to say that because we're trying to be fair and balanced and talk about all this good stuff. Um, one of the drawbacks for hypnoths, Las Vegas costs can be high. Uh, and while we understand that's outside the the oh the the conference's ability to really say, hey, you know what, we're gonna fix this, but you know, it's it's that cost outside the conference is uh can be high. And because the conference size, some of the attendees um find it harder to build those deeper one-on-one connections. But if you're you're looking uh for the broadest exposure to the hypnosis profession, hypnothought live remains difficult to beat. And coming in at the number two spot is the National Guild of Hypnosis Convention. I had an overall score of 93 out of 100. Uh, coming in second, so it is generally takes place in August. Uh, the NGH continues to attract hypnosis professionals from around the world. Uh, its greatest strengths are its educational debt, professional credibility, and enormous networking pool. Uh, the event, its long history, and organizational reach make it one of the most respected gatherings in the profession. That's a good cup of jo. So, but like many large conventions, it can feel overwhelming. Uh, first-time attendees, travel costs continue to be high, as always, and continue to rise. Uh, the conference is especially valuable for professionals in hypnotherapists seeking that continued education and strong industry uh connections. So, and you and you know what? Coming in at number three, a bit of a surprise. Uh, number three, the Michigan International Hypnosis Conference is our third ranked conference, is the Michigan International Hypno Conference with earning an impressive score of 91 out of 100. Uh, because basically, in a few short years, uh, the event has developed a reputation as delivering tremendous value. The conference emphasizes practical education, collaboration, and affordability, as well as community building. Uh, the philosophy of collaboration over competition creates a welcoming atmosphere that attendees consistently praise. Uh, the strengths of this conference include the outstanding ticket value, uh, excellent networking opportunities, practical presentations, a smaller environment, which allows the attendees to more easily present or get connections with their fellow presenters and professionals. So the trade-off on that is the smaller roster, fewer simultaneous educational tracks of some of the larger conferences for practitioners seeking maximum educational value for their dollar spent. Michigan International Hypnosis Conference stands out as one of the strongest choices available. So, and we're pretty happy about that. Again, this was uh research that was done and really looked at. So, a bit of a surprise there, and we're pretty happy about that. So, but number four, another surprise coming in at number four is the performing hypnosis summit, uh, with an overall score of 89 out of 100. So, this is basically um just a tremendous thing. Uh, you know, the performing hypnosis continues to be the gold standard for stage hypnosis. With that score of 89 out of 100, the summit has become the premier gathering for entertainment professionals working in hypnosis. Uh attendees consistently praise the intimate atmosphere, direct access to industry leaders, and highly practical business advice. So, and its strengths include the elite faculty, exceptional networking, and content specifically designed to help performers grow their careers. Um, the primary limitations of this or of the conference is that narrow focus. Um, clinical practitioners aren't going to find a lot of content there. So, and again, Las Vegas travel continues to be high. So, but hopefully they're working on that. I mean, not the conference, I mean Las Vegas, because I like going to Vegas. So hopefully they're working on that. I'd like to see some of those prices come down, as I know uh the guys over at PHS uh would. Um, but I digress. So for stage hypnotists, it's difficult to find. I don't think you are gonna find uh a better event if you're a stage hypnotist. So number five, the American Clinical, uh, the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis annual scientific meeting. I don't know if this is a conference, but it comes in at number five. The American Clinical Score got 88 out of 100. Uh, the conference brings together healthcare professionals, clinicians, educators, and researchers to discuss the latest developments in hypnosis, which is pretty cool. It strengths uh scientific credibility, uh, research-focused presenters, and advanced clinical education. So, but this is not its weakness, it's not a business building conference. Uh, instead, it focuses heavily on evidence-based practice and professional development. Healthcare professionals looking for that rigorous clinical education will find really good value from this conference here. But again, its limitation, it's not a business building conference. And I don't really know on the travel or cost on that one. We didn't find a lot of information. So, number six is the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis Annual Conference. Uh, combining that in the sixth and Society for Clinic, coming in number six, excuse me, is that, right? The Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis got a score of 87 out of 100. The SEH remains one of the most respected conferences in academic hypnosis. Let's make that, I want to put that out there because its greatest strength includes that research depth, uh, mentor opportunities, academic rigor. Most clinicians consider it one of the strongest sources of evidence-based hypnosis education available today. Um, I don't know on 27's schedule, but comes in at number six. The conference is less focused on business, uh, business development, and attracts a smaller practitioner audience than some of the larger events. Uh, still for researchers and clinical focused professions, it remains one of their top-tier choices. And number seven, the Ericksonian Foundation Congress. Again, um, I'm not 100% certain that this is a conference conference, but people seem to really like this one. Uh, not exclusively focused on hypnosis. That's why uh it remains one of the most influential gatherings in the Ericksonian psychotherapy and indirect hypnosis. The faculty tends to be those world-class educationers. Educational depth is great uh and substantial. Its professional reputation is pretty outstanding, and the main drawback includes that higher travel and registration costs, along with less emphasis on business development and practical marketing, so which is pretty important to the hypnosis field. I think it's important to me. So that being said, it's still a good gathering, right? Number eight, Heartland Hypnosis Conference. I've been to Heartland Hypnosis uh conference about three or four times. I've never had a bad experience there. So Heartland Hypnosis Conference comes in at number eight with a score of 83 out of 100. Uh, this conference has earned a loyal following, and it really has because of its supportive atmosphere and emphasis on practical learning. Attendees often praise the affordability and friendly culture. And it is pretty friendly. Uh, William Mitchell does a pretty good job of putting that on. So while speaker roster is small, its reach is more regional, national than national. Uh, Heartland consistently delivers positive educational experience, especially with their tracks. Um, it's an excellent option for new and intermediate practitioners. So its drawback is that while it is affordable, it's really not accessible to anything outside the conference. Uh, just where they hold it at that hotel, uh, there's not a lot around it. There's one restaurant that you can go to, I think it's Damon Busters. And that seems to be the drawback is you're if unless you're driving and you're able to drive and go somewhere, there's not a lot around the venue to see or do. So that's one of its drawbacks. So number nine, coming in at number nine, and I think rounding them out, rounding out, is the Mid-America Hypnosis Conference. Rounding out our list, uh, the Mid-America Hypnosis Conference with a score of 81 out of 100. Uh, Mid-America continues to provide that affordable education in its environment. Strengths include those practical presentations, uh, strong sense of community. So, however, its drawback is that it can be somewhat more, have a higher cost to attend than some of the other conferences out there. So, and has a little bit more travel cost. So, that include that. It also includes maybe a lower visibility than some of the big ones. But most of the small conferences like Michigan, Heartland, uh have that lower visibility than the larger conferences, but still, you know, Mid-America remains a solid option for practitioners uh seeking education with major financial investment. So here we go before we wrap things up. So on this, we're gonna be talking about some other stuff. So let's take a look at winners in the category, right? So, category, best overall conference, the winner there, hypnoths live. Best educational depth, the winner there, National Guild of Hypnotists Convention. And best value for the money, Michigan International Hypnosis Conference is the winner there. Best networking, the winner there, hypnothoughts live. Uh, best research for clinical training is the Society of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis. Um, best healthcare professions. So again, the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Best for stage and street and performance, the winner in that category, obviously, the Hypnosis Summit. Um, best overall atmosphere, the winner there, Michigan International Hypnosis Conference. So those are the big winners uh on the conference front. And those may change. We're gonna continue to rate these. Uh, I think we're this is gonna be something that we're gonna do year in and year out. There's gonna be an annual rating. So if your favorite conference wasn't mentioned today, don't worry, it may be mentioned next year or so, because we're gonna keep looking. Because the reality is that there's no single conference that's perfect for everyone. So let's let's say that right now. Um, your ideal event depends on your goals, your specialty, your budget, the type of professional relationships you want to build. Uh, it also looks at if you're seeking the broadest exposure to the hypnosis profession, hey, then hypnoths live remains one of the strongest options available. If you're healthcare professional, clinical seeking scientific depth, the AC, the ASCH and the SCEH continue to be the standard. If you're a stage hypnotist hypnotist, excuse me, focusing on the performing end, hypnosummit, hypnosis summit, stands alone. Um, so but when it comes to overall value, affordability, networking quality, and attendance experience to this point, um, the Michigan the Michigan International Hypnosis Conference has emerged uh as one of the strongest return on investment conferences in the field. So that's what we're looking at there. Uh so that is our look at the top conferences for 2026. And you can find that this look that we've gonna have. We also do have this in the magazine. The Hypno World magazine summer issue. We have an article talking about some of the top conferences. So, and we also with the summer issue have done an in-depth look at some of the economics and economy of the hypnosis field. So that's some of the things that we've been working on in the Hypno World magazine for the summer issue, along with other things. So, you really want to check that out. What do we got going on for the fall issue coming up? So, what we've got coming up for the fall issue, you know what? We've already done the economics of hypnosis for the summer issue. So, for the fall issue, we're gonna be doing an in-depth look at the field of stage and street hypnosis. We want to see how that field is unfolding, uh, the ups, the downs, some of the things looking forward to the future. So, we're gonna be looking at that for the fall issue. So, if you want to send in an article for the fall issue on the field of stage hypnosis, you can send that to hypnoworld magazine at gmail.com. That's hypnoworld magazine at gmail.com. Send in your article, we'll take a look at it, and maybe, just maybe, you'll get published in the fall issue of the Hypno World magazine. So, what else have we got going on out there in the field? So, well, we know that the Performing Hypnosis Summit is coming up, I believe, in January. So, January 23rd to 25th, and that is going to be at the Gold Coast Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. So that's coming up, and we also have the Canadian Hypnosis Conference coming up in October, and that is going to be in Toronto. So if you haven't looked into that, hop online, check it out, Canadian Hypnosis Conference. Um, I think they may have they're getting ready to get their schedule out. So hopefully that'll be out soon. Um, and there's the link for the Michigan International Hypnosis Conference. Scan it, check it out, see what you got going on for there. Um so it's been it's been an interesting year for the um for the conference season, which has already started. Um it started with Heartland in April, it started with the Irish Hypnosis Conference in April, and well, most likely, I think the season ends with the Canadian Hypnosis Conference in October. Now, something new as we talk about this used to be that the conference season started in April with Heartland. That is not the case anymore because the conference season now really starts in January with the performing hypnosis conference. And it's gonna do that again because the Canadian Hypnosis Conference really ends that conference season for the 2026 season in October. And then 2027, January, uh 23rd through the 25th, I believe, boom, we hit the performing hypnosis summit. So that is really the new start of the uh conference season. I don't know if their perform if their uh proposals are still open. I I know that they were, but if you scanned the QR code, um you might be able to slide in a proposal. So that is gonna do it for me today, here on the Monday Report. We will be back next Monday talking about all the great stuff happening in the world of hypnosis. So, until then, I hope everybody is happy, healthy, safe. And as always, I'll see you out there.
