MONICA_PAGE-Matt-webcam-00h_00m_00s_358ms-StreamYard:

monica Page with us today on the Programming Alliance podcast. We appreciate you being here. And you are a Turning Point contributor a White House correspondent. You worked at One American News, Newsmax, and you've been on all these, So we got a lot of stuff we want to pick your brain about today and we're looking forward to getting into it but before we do I Heard a little something about you personally that you just got engaged. I did. So tell us The ring this is important This is the it's a it's a marquee three carat She's also just so for your listeners to kind of get an idea of what it is a pave band Lab groan come on lab groan. Yeah, and he's my best friend. He that my fiancee is in One American News White House correspondent now, he was covering the Trump campaign when I was at the White House, he was on the Trump campaign. So now, he's shifted to, now he's the White House correspondent, and he's fabulous. You guys should definitely have him on the show, yeah, but he's great. Yeah, really exciting things. Well, it's a beautiful ring, and congratulations to you. and thanks for having me. Yeah, when is the date? May 10th. May 10th. May 10th. And then any, any fun honeymoon plans yet, or are you still working on it? Still working on it. We're gonna figure out what we both want to do, but maybe, maybe overseas. So, maybe Europe. Costa Rica's a cool place. That's what I'm thinking. I heard amazing things about Costa Rica and I heard amazing things about Italy. Always wanted to go to Italy. Yeah. And Costa Rica. I don't know. I've never been there, of course, but I've heard that their pizza's better, which hopefully it is. Well, all their food's good. So much better and healthier. You can eat bread and pasta all day and you won't gain a pound. Yeah. Yeah. Maha is already implemented there. Yeah. They know what they're doing. Maybe we can, yeah, we can get their ingredients and give it to Maha. Yeah. Yeah. No seed oils. Yeah. They don't put a bunch of toxins and addictive chemicals in their food apparently. What a concept. Go figure, Max. What are you going to do without ramen noodles, though, Max? That's your favorite Italian food, right? Oh, man. That's good stuff. I will say, I'm a sucker for some ramen. Yeah, there's a highly addictive level of salt in there, any rate, let's get into our questions. We want to hear more about the work that you do. Sure. White House correspondent for the last year and a half have been at the White House. Yeah. Now with Turning Point, and it's very new, I immediately started with Turning Point on election night. Oh, okay. So, yeah, it's very, it's very new. But on election night, I was actually in Lafayette Park across the street from the White House, just kind of monitoring any sort of protests that were popping up. We had some pro Palestinian groups come through. Okay. Some Trump is a fascist kind of group that wheeled through. Yeah, I mean, that's what you get. But it was actually surprisingly very quiet on election night. I mean, I was out there for probably three or four hours till two in the morning. And then I said, you know, we got to call it a night because there's nothing happening. Surprisingly, this year has been very quiet for political protests. I mean, when it comes to the Israel Palestinian, that's where a lot of it's been going. Even BLM, I was expecting after the Daniel Penney, you know, he got, you know, free, he's released, you know, innocent. I was expecting BLM in DC, on BLM Plaza, to really blow up. Nothing. Quiet. So very surprising, I mean, it seems like it's moving in a positive direction, but I think the mood overall is just very solemn, now that Trump is back. Yeah. Well, we're excited. I know, me too. Celebrating, I know. Trump dance. The best. And the golf swing at the end. Yeah, you gotta have that in there. Oh man, it's amazing to see that. You see all these athletes doing Trump dance. Football players, John Jones after the UFC fight. Oh, I love UFC. I love when he goes and he brings his crew with him. He's got Tulsi Gabbard, Mike Johnson was there, RFK. It's great to see just everybody showing up and everyone coming on board. I mean, I feel like it's gone mainstream to support Trump. That's an exciting time to live in. You don't have to be embarrassed or ashamed or worrying. It's cool now. How does a conservative movement connect better with Gen Z and Gen L? Well, that is a great question because, I mean, when you look at the conservative movement, what we have established now is so different than what the conservative movement used to be. I mean, a lot of people that were part of the Democrat Party or they were in unions, they say, you know, the Democrat Party left me, or the union left me before I left it. There's been such a shift where you're seeing. What used to be conservative is just not what it was anymore. It used to be punk to be, you know, Democrat, anti government, anti establishment, now we're seeing that in the conservative party. And now you're seeing, you know, the truth speaks for itself. You see what's happening with Trump's policies and how everybody's so much better off under President Trump. More money in our wallets, more opportunity to buy a home you know, for young people even a safer community. Cops were respected, our military was respected. We have to get back to common sense values, because they're not just conservative values, it's just common sense. Girls can't be boys, boys can't be girls, you know, men can't get pregnant these are things And let's get back to teaching kids and having them read books and write, and not, be glued to Go figure. You know? And just getting back to that. So I think it's been cool to kind of get back to where things were and how we grew up. This is just the beginning, and social media has also played a huge role in this as well. I mean, Instagram, TikTok, etc. You know, getting that message out, it's really important for future generations, because it starts with the kids, you know, with young kids. When you're teaching them the right ways of common sense, you guys are clearly on the right track. And so smart, because a lot of kids your age are just They don't know what's going on. It's funny, we get so much feedback about, well, you shouldn't be talking to kids about these topics at this age and all of that, and well, we just don't agree with that. We think the more equipped you are, the more knowledgeable you are at a younger age, the better off you're going to be. And if they're expressing an interest in it, why not educate them? Yeah, yeah. So they're curious about it, so we should just tell them, no, we're not going to talk about it, and that's crazy. Yeah, it just equips them to be better adults and think critically and unpack some of the craziness that's going on like you said, the world's definitely changed, and so I think you gotta be prepared for it, and we need to, you know, we need this generation, and Gen, Gen Z and Gen Alpha to really bring things back, you know, I think, I think Trump is, is certainly Gonna lay some of the groundwork, but it's four years and we gotta get a lot work done there, but we need people to carry the torch forward. I worry about, you know,'cause it's just four years. Let's hope that there's enough time to really do the things that he wants to do. Yeah. And try to reverse the damage that's been done. Because there's a lot of, and it continues it's decades of damage. It is. I know, and in 2016, you know, he really tried to get things done, but he was just surrounded by the, not the best advisors, not the best team, because he didn't know what he was doing. He, he thought he was doing, but he ended up, you know, hiring a bunch of lobbyists that ended up being really, just, inconsequential to, to his whole entire 2016 running. But now this time around, it's, it's, all holds are off. You know, the guns are coming out, so, it's good. Well, and I love that he's getting people involved. aren't necessarily in government, like Elon and the vague, I love these guys. They are smart and they will get stuff done, which is like our motto and brand. Yeah, and it's just seeing the former Democrats come over. This is positive change. This is exactly what the Democrats think that they're trying to do, but they're not doing that. They're not unifying. They're further creating division. We have former Democrats coming over to our side. This is huge. This is something that they just don't have. What, they get Liz Cheney? It's huge. It's true. In the best way. I love it. So, what is the mainstream media not telling us about Ukraine and Russia? Wow. Alright, well I don't wanna You know, speculate, or say something that is not really happening, but I've got a lot of suspicions about Ukraine and I've got a lot of questions about Ukraine, but this constant push for more money to foreign countries is really damaging. I mean, we've got people in our own country that need a lot of help, and this further funneling money to Ukraine, where Joe Biden has had ties to for decades with his son, his son sitting on the energy board of Burisma in Ukraine when his son Hunter knows nothing about energy is suspicious. And I personally think that this is a money laundering scheme where Joe Biden I think owes Ukraine a lot of money. And personally, and now everybody's paying for it. It's coming out of the taxpayers dollars. And that's what I personally think is going on. And I think that the mainstream media is hiding it. Yeah, because I think all these business deals that Joe Biden had with China and Ukraine behind the scenes is part of a bigger picture that we don't know about. The House Oversight Committee was really trying to expose that with their receipts. Unfortunately, it really didn't get anywhere. It didn't gain as much traction as we really hoped it would. But we need to keep pushing the message of, you know, there is something more to this that we're not getting. And nobody's talking about it. Yeah, it seems, yeah, it seems very nefarious. There's something weird there with like all the shell companies and all of the background with Hunter and all that. I think that's part of why we keep doing this. Yeah, and You're right, like it's, it's a ton of money that's flowing through there, and it's also very interesting how, was it in Istanbul, they had brokered a peace deal, but then Boris Johnson and Biden said, like, like, you know, put a fork in it. So that they could just go to war. And so it's, it's really sad. You know, you see all these people who are fighting and dying. And what are they dying for? Right. What's also suspicious is that, okay, we keep trying to push for a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas and Hezbollah, but we don't want to push a ceasefire deal for Ukraine versus Russia? Yeah. I mean, they want to end this war just as much as we do here. I don't even know if it even is a war anymore. I mean, I consider it like a proxy war or a PSYOP, honestly. But the fact that we, we keep giving this more money to overseas is such a waste. And if I keep talking about this and it's been years, it's been so what, since 2021. And we're still doing this, but we're so quick to end the war with Israel and Hamas and these terrorists, but we're still keeping this one going. We're prolonging this. Let's keep bombing inside of Russia. Look, this is so damaging. This is dangerous. And it, and quite honestly, many people are sick of it. Even Democrats, I feel like, are getting really tired of it, too. There's no, like, measure of success or endgame in mind. We'll do it as long as it takes. I'm like, why, what does that mean? Right. It doesn't have to be long. That's just not a strategy. No. What I love about this time around with Trump is that he's gotten ahead of the curve, I think, more, he knows more about what to do, he's already set in his cabinet, he's already met with Trudeau, and I think he's making other international leader calls, and he's getting things in place, he knows there's big expectations, and we've bet the farm on him and his ideas and his cabinet to be successful, so. Fingers crossed. And then we'll, we'll be doing this. Yeah, double fingers mean it's unlucky. Oh, just one then? Yeah, just do one. Cause they cancel each other out. I didn't know this. I didn't know this. I learned something today. Thank you. You're welcome. Of course. Double fingers, cause they cancel each other out. You gotta have the one. Okay. Yeah. So, right now, are there any cultural trends that are harming, like, young Americans, like me and Max and others? Yeah, I think that there's a couple these cultural trends. I think a lot of it has to do with, with women. But I also think that the, this toxic push of just constant work, instead of creating a life for yourselves, for the future, and setting yourself up for success in the future just personally. Like, I mean, there's such a push for women especially, which I'm really passionate about as this Boss woman trend where keep working keep working, you know, who needs men who needs kids that's damaging to men as well Because men want to find a nice woman and have children and have a family and this culture That has been come trendy because of the left and this toxic femininity that teaches that men are bad and they're and men are horrible You know, why would you want to get married and have kids when you could just work and be successful? Yeah, well, that's all great and everything You can, A, do both, but B, it's so much more valuable to create a legacy for yourself and create an empire for yourself where you're not going to be alone at the age of 60 with no husband or wife, no kids, and that's a really dangerous trend that I don't really think many people are talking about, and I'm hoping it gains a little bit more traction, but that's definitely on the top of the list, I think. Yeah, I think, obviously there's no problem with women, being professional and being successful and all this, but if that's what they want to do But, you know, when I look back at my life the women in my life, my grandmother, my great grandmother, we would go to family reunions, and my great grandmother, we had hundreds of people there, right? And nobody asked, and she was the matriarch of the family, and this entire family came from her, and it was incredible, right? And the love and respect that we had for her, and what she did, having ten kids, nonetheless, like. She did, she left a legacy, and when I look at that, I think, like, that is really something special. Nobody asked, what did you do for your, what did you do for work? Did you ever work? What did grandpa do for work? Nobody really cared about that. We were all just, like, getting together, and the family that we created, and so I think people underestimate what that can do, and the importance of that. Yeah, and I mean, exactly, and I mean, at the end of the day, You're replaceable at any job. You know, you're not replaceable as a mother or a father, you know, you, you have that for life. And that's one of the most valuable things that you can do in your life, I think. Yeah, like, I don't know, on my deathbed, I don't know that I'm gonna say, Gosh, that Project 18, I got it done on time and on budget, wow, that was rewarding. Right, right, at least I spent time with my children, I think that's the most important thing. Hence, hence why we're doing what we're doing now. I think it's great, I think what you guys are doing is great. Yeah, thank you. Yeah. Most of the time, right, Max? Do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do I get that stuck in my head. I had that stuck in my head all Thanksgiving break. And, it's just that first little blip. I kept replying to it in my head. Yeah. This is contagious. It is. It's good tune. It's good tune. Yeah. Alright, alright. What else? You got another question, right, Max? What have you learned while being a voice for Conservative values? And what have you learned? I have learned a lot. And the main number one thing that I think is really important is to not care what anybody thinks. And you need to keep speaking out even if your voice shakes. And even if nobody is agreeing with you and your opinion is unpopular, you should not stop doing what's right in your heart. If you feel, if you're in a situation where You feel like something is wrong, it probably is wrong. And, yeah, and I think that that's really, really important. I mean, when I'm in the press briefing room and I'm surrounded by reporters who are like, Oh, yeah, this illegal immigration is, is good for the country, it's good for the economy. These people are real people and they're humans and they have feelings too. And it's like, well, sure, but These people can come in legally, and they can do things the right way, and to feel that way, even though it's an unpopular opinion in the press briefing room, stick to your guns, believe in what you really feel is right, and just, and don't change for anybody, no matter how tough the pressure is. Guarantee there are people who feel the same way as you, and and just keep speaking up and speaking out, because it takes, It's a lot of people. I mean, it starts with one person, and you don't know if somebody feels the same way as you do, so if you keep speaking out, and keep being kind, and sharing your voice I think you can really start to create waves, and I think that's exactly what we're seeing, and that's exactly how we got here in 2020. That's a great message. Sometimes you can be, you can be the first domino, right? You can be. So, that's important. Yep. Yeah. Especially if you know in your heart that it's right. Never follow the crowd. Yeah. Never follow the crowd. That's what my mom always told me, you know. It's good advice. It's not fun to follow the crowd. Yeah, that's good advice. I think we should do rapid fire. Rapid fire? Yeah. Let's do it. We've got a section called. Rapid Fire that you're gonna love. Let's get into it. Alright. Rapid Fire! It's where you have to answer the questions as fast as possible. Okay. Without any explanations. We will start in 3, 2, 1, go! Okay, what is your favorite book that you've ever read? I loved What was it even called? The Great Gatsby. Hi. Would you rather fight a one 1, 000 pound duck or 1, 001 pound ducks? 1, 001 pound ducks. Interesting. Okay. What is the coolest invention in your lifetime? Oh, probably the computer. Would you rather die to a great white shark or flaming hot volcano? Great white shark. If you had a superpower, what would it be? Flying. Basic, I know. If you had one executive order as president, what would it be? No taxes. Taxation is theft. Ooh, I love that. I had that shirt on yesterday. No taxes. Unvaxxed, yeah. Unvaxxed overtaxed. Yeah, yeah, it's one of our That's a great shirt. Yeah. Where can I get that? It's on our website. Okay, okay, good. Because I want that shirt. Yeah, we can send one to you. Yeah, that'd be great. Yeah, we'll make that happen. Okay would you rather be pure vegetarian or pure carnivore for the rest of your life? Pure carnivore. Really? Carnivore. I love steak. Yeah, steak is good. Oh, yeah. Okay. Wait, steak and eggs? I love steak and eggs. Alright, so last one. Have you ever been stuck in a bathroom stall without toilet paper? Yes. I'm not going to explain how we overcame that situation. That happened to me like three times. It's happened to me a handful of times as well. That was fun. With our channel, and we've got two young Gen Alpha kids Being outward about their conservative values and beliefs. Any closing advice for us as we continue our journey and mission on building a stronger Gen Alpha? That's a great, that's such a good question because it's tough. I don't have kids just yet, but if I did it seems like you're doing such a fabulous job. I mean, keep reading. I think it's really important to read. And I think that's a lot of, I think not a lot of kids are reading anymore. Nobody's reading, nobody's Doing their own research. I think reading and just keep learning. Never stop learning about what's happening in the world around you. Even if the topic is boring. Because if there's one thing that I wish I could change that I did. I never paid attention in history class. I always found that history class was so boring. I always wanted to go home. I wanted to go to the next thing. I know. And now I'm beating myself up over it. I'm like, dang it. I really wish that I paid more attention. Never stop learning and always keep pushing for the truth. And always ask questions. Even if you think they're stupid questions, there's no such thing as a stupid question. Keep asking questions, keep reading, and keep learning. Because there's so much out there. So I think that's definitely the biggest piece of advice that I could give. right. Thank you so much for your time and the work that you're doing and best of luck on your engagement. Thank you. And your future relationship. It's going to be fantastic and wonderful and everything great, you know. All the good things. Thank you so much for having me. It was such a pleasure and you guys are a lot of fun. You guys are really, really good kids. Really great. Thank you so much. Beautiful family. Appreciate that. It means a lot. Thank you.
