Hello, my friend. Welcome back. I'm so happy to spend this time with you today, and I have so many fun things to share with you and to talk about. So before we get started, I do want to mention that on June 13th, we are having a Reiki Share. So, what that is, is if you've been certified in Reiki either with Sanctuary or somewhere else, you are welcome to join us for Reiki Share. And during this event, we get together in a small group and all we do is exchange Reiki. So you may receive Reiki, you may be giving Reiki, you may be doing both. And it's just a really fun, grounded time to relax together and to practice your Reiki healing. So we do hope you'll join us for that. It's coming up very soon. Now I really want to get into a story, a synchronistic story that just happened to me. I feel like sharing these things with you is so much fun because you totally get it. And so I love sharing these magical stories with you. And I hope you love hearing them, and I hope that they inspire and fill your days with even more of your own magic. So over the past couple of days, I have been feeling this nudge deep within me to go to a website of a jewelry designer that I worked with years ago, and I designed a ring, and I love this ring so, so much. And for whatever reason, I just kept thinking about her and I kept feeling go to the website, go to her website, go see it, go check out the rings. And I kept thinking, I don't know. I'm not really like thinking about getting a new ring. But eventually, I decided, all right, I'll go check out her different designs, and for nothing else, I'll just enjoy seeing them. And so I hop on her website late last night as I'm laying in bed. And so with her designs, you can either buy a ring that's fully put together, or you can buy a loose gemstone and then select your setting and do a custom ring. And so I love looking through her loose gemstones because there's so many different colors and so many shapes, and they're all so beautiful and sparkly. And so I'm going through the pages of the loose gemstones, and I stumble upon a stone called what was it called? I don't know, something like a color shifting sapphire. And I was like, Oh, what is that? So I click on it and I'm looking at it, and it's the most beautiful stone, and it I've never heard of these kinds of sapphires before, but I guess they change color depending upon the light they're in. And so this particular one would shift from like a champagne y pink color to like a deeper plum color, and I was like, wow, if that doesn't call out to me, I don't know what does. And so I start designing this ring with this gemstone, and I spend gosh knows how long, over an hour has to be putting this together and trying to picture it and envision it on my hand, and I put it in the cart, and something just stops me, and I'm like, I have this little tiny bit of resistance or doubt, and I always fall back to the saying. Actually, I don't know if it's a saying, but here it is. If there's any doubt, there's no doubt, and so I said to myself, okay, I'm gonna go to bed, and if I wake up and I'm still thinking about it, then I'll go further with this. So sure enough, I woke up and of course I was still thinking about this ring, and I was like, you know what? I think the thing that's kind of making me a bit uncertain is the stone when it's in a certain light, or I think really in most lights, it's kind of like a darker colored stone, it's kind of like a deep plum color. And you know me, I love light pink, I love like all the light, soft, beautiful color. Well, all the colors are beautiful, but to me, the colors I'm drawn to most are like soft colors and pinks and things like that. And so this color is much deeper than anything that I typically wear. And I was just like, I don't know, like I'm not used to wearing a color like that. And so I thought to myself, let me dig through my jewelry and see if I have anything in a deeper color, and I can at least wear that around and see if I enjoy wearing a stone like that. And I couldn't remember really anything that I had, but I started going through like these old bins, like in the top of my closet, and you'll never guess. I pull out this little old box, and inside of it is a ring that looks almost identical to the one that I'd been designing, and I had totally forgotten about this ring that had been gifted to me because it's too big for me, so of course I'm not gonna wear it around because it'll fall off. But I was like, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, I can't believe it felt like it felt like a gift from loved ones past, it felt like a gift from loved ones present, it felt like a gift from the universe, and I just was like, Did all of this happen? Was I feeling the nudge to go to that website simply because this ring that's been passed down through the family is now meant to be worn. I meant to remember that it was there and I meant to get it sized and and I meant to wear it. And so, of course, they put it on my hands and I even sent a picture to my husband and I said, Look at this. And he said, He said, Is that Chatchi BT? He said, Did you like have Chat Chi BT like put that ring you made on your finger? And I go, No, I go, This is a real ring, can you believe it? And I explained to him the story, and so I just think like that is the coolest series of events, and it just goes to show that well, one synchronicity is so fun and so magical, but also I really deeply feel like this is a gift, and our loved ones, even if we didn't even know them earth side, so our our great-grandparents and things like that, they are with us, they are with us, and it's little things like this that allow us to be even more deeply connected with them, and it's just so beautiful, right? It's so beautiful, and I know you all have stories like that too, where your loved ones are reaching out and sharing things with you, and I just I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it. Okay, so I just had to share that with you. Now, as many of you may know, I have been working very, very, very hard for months and months and months, like so much so that I moved our enormous desktop computer into our kitchen so that I could work on this project even more. I have been developing a new website for Sanctuary, and it's been such a passion project of mine. I love web design so much. It is such a creative outlet. It is something where like I wake up in the morning and I can't wait to work on the web design more. And so for months now, I have been working on this website that I have officially launched and it is live for you to browse and see and experience. But I have to also tell you a story about that that's pretty magical as well. So, like I said, I've been working on this website for such a long time. And when you're working on a project like this, and it's something that you care about so, so much, and you want it to feel right and present right, and you want people to experience it in the very best way, you can get a little bit carried away. I'm not sure carried away is the right thing to say, but it's like it's hard to stop sometimes. So you're putting so much love into it, and it's hard to like have a finish line where you're like now it's perfect to share with the world. And so over the past maybe a couple weeks, I've been reaching that point where I wanted to share the website with everybody, but I would be like, Mom, just still change this, or maybe this picture should be changed, or I could reward this, or you know, whatever it was. And I knew I was doing this, but like I couldn't help myself. I think part of me wasn't ready for the project to be over because I was enjoying it so much. And part of it was that sort of like, is it perfect enough? Is it ready? Does it represent everything that I want it to? And I was having coffee one morning and I was working on the website because, like I said, I would spring out of bed and hop on the computer so I could start working on the website. And so I'm sitting there in my kitchen with my enormous computer working on the website, and I had let my dogs outside, and I got the intuitive hitch that I needed to go chuck on Pippa. And I get up and I walk out the front door, and as I do, I get a text on my phone from my neighbor who says, Hey, I think Pippa's in the creek behind our house. And I was like, Oh, I knew it, I knew it. And so I go and I get Pippa, and and she's all wet, and she's like, Why is she just having fun? I don't understand why I have to come back inside, and she moses on back to the front door, and as we go to go back inside the house, I look down, and in front of our front door is a small brown snake. Now, I don't say that to scare you, and don't worry, this wasn't at sanctuary, this was at my house. So Pippa and I pause and we're steps away from the snake, and it's very still, it's not scary at all, it's actually so beautiful, and he has the sweetest little eyes, and we look at each other, and he just sits there, and I just stand there, and that's when I knew. Snakes are such a sign of shedding our skin, of letting go of something and rebirthing into something new. There's such a sign of energy rising through us and illuminating all that we are, and so I knew without a shadow of a doubt in that moment that this was a message and a sign saying, publish that website right now. Right now, shed the skin and do it. Because going from one old website to a new website is very much like shedding a skin, right? It is birthing something new and in a way leaving something behind. And so I said, Okay, I hear you, and I did it. I published the website, and I'm so excited. I'm so very excited. I think it's funny too, because last podcast episode, we were talking about angel numbers and how I feel like angel numbers are a sign that we're in a state of coherence and synchronicity. And now this week I'm talking about signs again, animal signs. And I do want to clarify because I do believe that angel numbers are that sign that we're in a coherent state, but to me, animal messengers are a little different. To me, they very much are messengers, and that's something we can go into in another episode. I would love to do that. So if you're curious about animal messengers, let me know and I will talk about it. Um, but so I saw that snake as that messenger, and I received the message and I took action on it. So this makes me think of the story with the snake. Okay, so this card says there are times when we're called to hold on and times when we're called to surrender, but how do we know what to do when? If this card appears with the let go side facing up, then it begs the question, what are you clinging on to for fear that it will go away and nothing will come to take its place? And if this card appears with the hold on side right side up, then it's an invitation to fight for what's important to you, to stand up for your beliefs, to have a difficult conversation, or to keep working towards something that doesn't appear to be working. So as you listen to that, which side feels like it resonates more with you? Are you being called to let go right now, or are you being called to hold on right now? That is so fun.
