Ep #70 - Can We Earn Salvation? - Hosea

There’s obviously more to Hosea Ch 6-10 then the notion of Christianity NOT being works based!…but it is a major point. Especially considering the prophet Hosea delivered this message in a time when that’s truly what the people believed! And clearly how they acted, that is that as long as you performed the rituals, regardless of your heart and attitude, you were sweet with God.
In fact it’s such an important revelation Jesus makes the point of mentioning it TWICE (Matthew 9&12) when rebuking the Pharisees for their hard hearts.
…If Jesus found it that important how much more should we! Do we even have to?!? I mean…it’s not like we have a works based faith in the 21st century is it..??
