Ep #73 - Is Adultery Really That Big A Deal?! - Pt2
““You have heard the law that says, ‘A man can divorce his wife by merely giving her a written notice of divorce.’ But I say that a man who divorces his wife, unless she has been unfaithful, causes her to commit adultery. And anyone who marries a divorced woman also commits adultery.”

In Part 1 of the ‘Adultery’ episodes, the lads laid out what the Old Testament had to say about Adultery and/or Sexual Immorality. Specifically regarding the Levitical Laws handed out by Moses to the Israelites once they entered the desert.
However nowadays, a lot of Christians believe, “New Law, New Rules,” and so they will only act upon the commandments that Jesus gave…of course this is usually associated with a view that God is Love and Jesus is Love and Love is Love etc etc.
But those of us who actually have READ the scriptures of the Gospels understand Jesus didn’t come to abolish the law, he came to fulfil it (Matt 5:17), and he definitely didn’t come to lower the standard, in fact he raised them! To preposterous, unreachable, condemning heights!
This episode the boys break down the NT (Jesus) comments on Adultery and also discuss questions about Sexual Immorality, Fornication etc that a lot of Christians and Non-Christians may have regarding the Bibles views and perspectives.
