Is this good?"},{"startTime":146.448,"endTime":150.2,"body":"Like, so basically what it does, you put in your competitor's website and then it"},{"startTime":150.32,"endTime":153.928,"body":"basically tracks the website week over week to see if they've made"},{"startTime":153.984,"endTime":156.712,"body":"any changes on their website. So you can see if they're doing any kind of"},{"startTime":156.736,"endTime":160.552,"body":"SEO. Like, exactly what they're doing as well. Or they updated their content or"},{"startTime":164.272,"endTime":167.986,"body":"they're linking to other pages, whatever it might be. Yeah, I think that's wicked cool that you"},{"startTime":240.962,"endTime":244.474,"body":"were even able to make something like that. I mean, I didn't make it. And they were like,"},{"startTime":246.962,"endTime":250.54,"body":"okay, sweet, we can do that. Let us go to town. We will geek out"},{"startTime":250.58,"endTime":254.332,"body":"on this stuff. What are some of the things that you're hearing from people who"},{"startTime":254.356,"endTime":258.076,"body":"are using Watchdog and the Site Audit Tool? Well, people"},{"startTime":258.148,"endTime":261.852,"body":"are obsessed with their metrics. Right. So I have A community as"},{"startTime":261.876,"endTime":265.324,"body":"well. It's a private community. Registration opens up every now and"},{"startTime":265.332,"endTime":268.844,"body":"then. So in the community, I get a lot of feedback. Like, they'll share their"},{"startTime":268.852,"endTime":272.524,"body":"wins, be like, oh, my website was like a 56 health score, and"},{"startTime":272.532,"endTime":275.982,"body":"now it's like a 95 or a 99. Um, you know, I"},{"startTime":276.006,"endTime":279.438,"body":"fixed all my broken links, I fixed my title tags, my meta"},{"startTime":279.454,"endTime":282.974,"body":"descriptions. I had duplicate content, all this kind of stuff. So"},{"startTime":282.982,"endTime":286.702,"body":"they go through and they fix everything. Like, okay, that's sweet. Like, now"},{"startTime":286.726,"endTime":290.27,"body":"I have a baseline, and every week it sends them a new report. Because if"},{"startTime":290.31,"endTime":294.126,"body":"links break on your website or if you're publishing new content, sometimes you forget"},{"startTime":294.158,"endTime":297.87,"body":"to do stuff, or it creates, like, a tag page or a category page, and"},{"startTime":297.91,"endTime":301.374,"body":"you might not want that. So they're constantly monitoring that stuff."},{"startTime":301.422,"endTime":305.11,"body":"But they're saying, okay, my rankings are going"},{"startTime":305.15,"endTime":308.886,"body":"up. Like, obviously, they're doing SEO stuff as well, but because they're"},{"startTime":308.918,"endTime":312.63,"body":"using these tools, they're able to see, okay, this is, you know, doing really"},{"startTime":312.67,"endTime":316.39,"body":"well. So when it comes to the Watchdog tool, people"},{"startTime":316.43,"endTime":320.118,"body":"are watching what their competitors are doing so they can make adjustments to their own"},{"startTime":320.174,"endTime":324.022,"body":"sites if it makes sense. Right. So they're like, okay, well, I saw that they"},{"startTime":324.046,"endTime":327.75,"body":"started going for that keyword, and we actually didn't consider that keyword at all."},{"startTime":327.79,"endTime":331.64,"body":"So we created a page. Right. Or we updated our page, or they"},{"startTime":331.68,"endTime":335.512,"body":"updated the pricing to be more competitive, so we were able to make"},{"startTime":335.536,"endTime":339.24,"body":"some kind of offer or deal. So it's a lot of stuff like that"},{"startTime":339.28,"endTime":342.888,"body":"that's happening, and it's really, really cool. Like the Watchdog tool, as much as it's"},{"startTime":342.904,"endTime":346.744,"body":"an SEO tool, it's really like a. Watching your competitor's tool."},{"startTime":346.832,"endTime":350.632,"body":"Yeah. For any marketing they're doing. Right. Yeah. And with"},{"startTime":350.656,"endTime":353.784,"body":"the Watchdog tool, even if it's. And I'm not here just to promote my own"},{"startTime":353.792,"endTime":357.354,"body":"stuff. No, he's not. But I geek out on it. Yeah. With the Watchdog"},{"startTime":357.402,"endTime":361.082,"body":"tool, if you publish a page on your website and it's, you know, a"},{"startTime":361.106,"endTime":364.762,"body":"landing page, you know, you're running ads to it, whatever it is that will pick"},{"startTime":364.786,"endTime":367.898,"body":"that up, even if, like, the public can't find it. Right. If it's a live"},{"startTime":367.954,"endTime":371.722,"body":"link, we'll find it. That is really, really cool. I love how"},{"startTime":371.746,"endTime":375.466,"body":"you tie in social media with SEO, with paid ads. Paid"},{"startTime":375.498,"endTime":379.162,"body":"ads I don't think I'll ever be touching. But social media is definitely"},{"startTime":379.226,"endTime":382.622,"body":"part of some of the stuff that I work on with clients, because"},{"startTime":382.786,"endTime":386.166,"body":"I like to say that, like, SEO is almost a stalker and it's following you"},{"startTime":386.238,"endTime":390.006,"body":"all the way around online. So what are some of the things that you notice"},{"startTime":390.038,"endTime":392.69,"body":"with that? Because, like, you're nodding, so I feel like you have things to say."},{"startTime":392.99,"endTime":396.694,"body":"So one of the benefits of social media is if you have something that goes"},{"startTime":396.742,"endTime":400.102,"body":"viral or is getting a ton of views reaching people outside your"},{"startTime":400.206,"endTime":403.862,"body":"followers, what tends to happen is people will then go to"},{"startTime":403.886,"endTime":407.606,"body":"Google and type in whatever your business name is. So for me, it's hey, Tony."},{"startTime":407.718,"endTime":411.478,"body":"And they'll go to Google, type in hey, Tony. And find my website, or"},{"startTime":411.534,"endTime":415.376,"body":"find blog posts, or find other social profiles that I have,"},{"startTime":415.528,"endTime":419.28,"body":"or even mentions, you know, in podcasts or publications, stuff like that. But"},{"startTime":419.32,"endTime":422.432,"body":"they'll do that. And what that does is it helps your"},{"startTime":422.616,"endTime":426.336,"body":"business's SEO, your website's SEO. Because what Google and"},{"startTime":426.408,"endTime":429.936,"body":"search engines are looking for in 2025 is"},{"startTime":430.008,"endTime":433.648,"body":"legitimate businesses. Because anybody can spin up a website and"},{"startTime":433.704,"endTime":437.52,"body":"write a ton of content using AI and just publish it, and it's just garbage."},{"startTime":437.68,"endTime":441.104,"body":"But a legitimate business has very different signals to search"},{"startTime":441.152,"endTime":444.872,"body":"engines than, you know, one of these spam sites would have that"},{"startTime":444.896,"endTime":448.264,"body":"somebody just spun up. And one of those things is branded"},{"startTime":448.312,"endTime":452.088,"body":"search, right? If people are typing in your business name, unless it's"},{"startTime":452.104,"endTime":455.64,"body":"like a generic name like breadcrumbs, I don't know,"},{"startTime":455.76,"endTime":458.82,"body":"maybe you have a breadcrumbs website or whatever. But like,"},{"startTime":459.28,"endTime":462.696,"body":"that's a terrible example. But they want to see branded"},{"startTime":462.728,"endTime":466.072,"body":"searches because if people are looking up that business, it's probably a good business. And"},{"startTime":466.096,"endTime":469.826,"body":"then also branded searches with a keyword at the end. So, hey,"},{"startTime":469.858,"endTime":472.946,"body":"Tony, if they're just searching that, that's a branded search, that's great. Hey, Tony."},{"startTime":472.978,"endTime":476.754,"body":"SEO, right? That's another search that's coming up in our Google search"},{"startTime":476.802,"endTime":480.546,"body":"console or another keyword or anything like that. Google"},{"startTime":480.578,"endTime":484.29,"body":"wants to see all of that kind of stuff. Additionally, when you're posting on social"},{"startTime":484.33,"endTime":487.986,"body":"media, that shows that you're a real person, that you're a real business, right? That's,"},{"startTime":488.018,"endTime":491.31,"body":"again, these are all signals that you are a legitimate business."},{"startTime":491.69,"endTime":495.272,"body":"So you can link from your website and your"},{"startTime":495.296,"endTime":498.728,"body":"Google Business profile, you can link to all of your social media"},{"startTime":498.784,"endTime":502.088,"body":"profiles from your Google Business profile, which again,"},{"startTime":502.224,"endTime":505.992,"body":"reinforces that you're a legitimate business. Google will crawl those"},{"startTime":506.016,"endTime":509.656,"body":"sites, see that you're posting, you know, whether it's daily or weekly or whatever,"},{"startTime":509.768,"endTime":513.4,"body":"and they actually pull information from that as well. And then also on your"},{"startTime":513.44,"endTime":516.936,"body":"website, you can post, you can share links to your social media profiles,"},{"startTime":516.968,"endTime":520.664,"body":"which if you're already including your name, your business name, address and phone number in"},{"startTime":520.672,"endTime":524.314,"body":"your footer, which you should if you're a local business. Having those social media links"},{"startTime":524.362,"endTime":527.626,"body":"just further reinforces like, hey, we are a legitimate business, right?"},{"startTime":527.698,"endTime":531.53,"body":"Legitimate businesses have like a Facebook page, at the very least, an"},{"startTime":531.57,"endTime":535.322,"body":"Instagram account, probably a LinkedIn page, right? Or a"},{"startTime":535.346,"endTime":538.89,"body":"profile. So having that stuff linked in your footer definitely reinforces"},{"startTime":538.97,"endTime":542.714,"body":"that you are a legitimate business. And it doesn't hurt to get organic"},{"startTime":542.762,"endTime":546.442,"body":"traffic from these social media sites back to your"},{"startTime":546.466,"endTime":550.122,"body":"website. Because again, Google's looking for diversity in traffic,"},{"startTime":550.186,"endTime":553.68,"body":"right? So if you're able to get traffic outside of"},{"startTime":553.72,"endTime":557.344,"body":"just Google, right, Outside of just the organic search"},{"startTime":557.472,"endTime":560.592,"body":"that is going to help your organic search. Did I say that in a way"},{"startTime":560.616,"endTime":564.224,"body":"that makes sense? Yeah, I was following. I mean, you do a great job of"},{"startTime":564.232,"endTime":567.072,"body":"breaking things down in a way that people can understand it. So I'm sure that"},{"startTime":567.096,"endTime":570.704,"body":"made sense even to like, quote, unquote, normal people who don't do all the SEO"},{"startTime":570.752,"endTime":574.432,"body":"stuff that we do. And I still feel like you're light years ahead of me"},{"startTime":574.456,"endTime":578.192,"body":"with all the SEO things. But it's cool hearing what you"},{"startTime":578.216,"endTime":581.712,"body":"share because I'm like, oh, yeah, it does confirm for me or"},{"startTime":581.736,"endTime":584.528,"body":"reaffirm for me that, like, I do know what I'm talking about. And it's really"},{"startTime":584.584,"endTime":588.432,"body":"funny. Like, there are so many pros or experts or specialists or whatever"},{"startTime":588.496,"endTime":592.192,"body":"where we all get so in our head about, do I"},{"startTime":592.216,"endTime":595.776,"body":"know enough? Can I charge for this? Do I really? Like, it's pretty"},{"startTime":595.808,"endTime":599.136,"body":"wild. Well, still to this day, like, I'll be having a down"},{"startTime":599.208,"endTime":602.992,"body":"day because I posted something on social media and it's not doing well. And"},{"startTime":603.016,"endTime":606.792,"body":"then I'm like, we had got an email from a client, like, questioning, like,"},{"startTime":606.816,"endTime":610.408,"body":"what are you guys really doing? And not that that comes up very"},{"startTime":610.464,"endTime":614.136,"body":"often. It's never like a malicious thing. It's always like, hey, like, help me understand"},{"startTime":614.208,"endTime":617.432,"body":"this. And I just, like, I'm down in the dumps and I'm like, do I"},{"startTime":617.456,"endTime":621.192,"body":"even know what I'm doing? Like, should"},{"startTime":621.216,"endTime":625.0,"body":"I just get a job cutting grass somewhere? Like, at least I'm cutting the"},{"startTime":625.04,"endTime":628.792,"body":"lawn. The job's getting done. There's no dispute there. But then, like,"},{"startTime":628.816,"endTime":631.704,"body":"I, I have to go into, like, all of our reports and look and be"},{"startTime":631.712,"endTime":635.43,"body":"like, okay, no, you know what? Everybody's getting results. This is really great. People have"},{"startTime":635.47,"endTime":638.758,"body":"growth. People are making more money. Clients are happy. So at any point, like, I've been doing that"},{"startTime":642.19,"endTime":645.33,"body":"same practice, that same exercise for"},{"startTime":645.87,"endTime":649.542,"body":"years and years and years, and I'm still doing it even though we have a"},{"startTime":649.566,"endTime":652.342,"body":"lot of clients and we're getting a lot of results, you still have that like"},{"startTime":652.446,"endTime":656.214,"body":"imposter syndrome self doubt that creeps in and you're like, do I actually know what"},{"startTime":656.222,"endTime":659.862,"body":"I'm doing? Should people trust me? Yeah, yeah,"},{"startTime":659.926,"endTime":662.902,"body":"no, I do the same thing. So I have the reports that I now get"},{"startTime":662.926,"endTime":666.204,"body":"to go look at. At the beginning I was really struggling to even know what"},{"startTime":666.212,"endTime":669.692,"body":"the data was. And I figured out that that's because I was relying on my"},{"startTime":669.716,"endTime":672.7,"body":"clients to get back to me. So now I'm like, I need access to this,"},{"startTime":672.74,"endTime":676.092,"body":"I need access to that. I will be going and checking on things. And so"},{"startTime":676.116,"endTime":679.772,"body":"now my happy folder has a crap ton more like SEO related things and"},{"startTime":679.796,"endTime":683.612,"body":"not just like Brady, it's great. But it's literally I'm ranking on Google after like"},{"startTime":683.636,"endTime":687.404,"body":"two weeks. You know, I have clients coming in from Google. It's great. So good."},{"startTime":687.492,"endTime":691.304,"body":"Yeah. But it's nice to hear that that happens to like multiple people. Cause I literally have a folder"},{"startTime":693.928,"endTime":697.576,"body":"on my desktop called Nice Things and it's screenshots of like"},{"startTime":697.648,"endTime":700.712,"body":"things that people have said that are really nice. That I'm like, okay, I could"},{"startTime":700.736,"endTime":703.128,"body":"use this like either on a landing page or I could read this if I'm"},{"startTime":703.144,"endTime":706.84,"body":"feeling down or anything like that. Just Nice Things. Yeah. Mine's always"},{"startTime":706.88,"endTime":710.008,"body":"like down in my bottom right corner is this happy folder. And then SEO wins"},{"startTime":710.024,"endTime":713.64,"body":"is right over that. So good, right? I love it. It's just the best. I didn't anticipate I was going"},{"startTime":716.672,"endTime":720.064,"body":"to say any of this, but I had a discovery call this week with someone"},{"startTime":720.152,"endTime":723.792,"body":"and the person really wanted hard numbers and data and they want to build out"},{"startTime":723.816,"endTime":727.44,"body":"this like crazy amazing spreadsheet. And I'm like. And"},{"startTime":727.48,"endTime":730.816,"body":"even in the conversation it came up that other SEO people that they had talked"},{"startTime":730.848,"endTime":733.984,"body":"with couldn't give them numbers. I'm like, yeah. Cause like, what do you mean? It"},{"startTime":733.992,"endTime":737.472,"body":"depends on a lot of things. Of like, you're definitely gonna get this much more"},{"startTime":737.496,"endTime":741.152,"body":"traffic. You absolutely need to post this many blogs per month, stuff like"},{"startTime":741.176,"endTime":744.998,"body":"that. So like, I totally understand it but. And they were looking for hard numbers."},{"startTime":745.014,"endTime":748.182,"body":"And I'm like in my head, like, I can't really give you a hard. No"},{"startTime":748.206,"endTime":751.91,"body":"one can. You've been told this by other people. Yeah. So I left that call"},{"startTime":751.95,"endTime":755.686,"body":"in for a couple days after. I was just like, same thing. Should I continue"},{"startTime":755.758,"endTime":758.31,"body":"with this? Should I go back to massage Should I be a priest again? Like,"},{"startTime":758.35,"endTime":761.33,"body":"does anyone in the neighborhood have kids they want me to take care of?"},{"startTime":762.75,"endTime":766.262,"body":"It's crazy because, yeah, some potential clients, okay, well, how much"},{"startTime":766.286,"endTime":769.87,"body":"traffic or how many impressions can I expect? And I'm like, I"},{"startTime":769.91,"endTime":772.718,"body":"can't give that to you. Nobody can give that to you. If somebody gives you"},{"startTime":772.774,"endTime":776.21,"body":"like hard numbers like that, you're not going to meet those expectations."},{"startTime":776.71,"endTime":780.35,"body":"So what I do and what I say to these people is I"},{"startTime":780.39,"endTime":783.726,"body":"can't guarantee anything because Google's going to be Google."},{"startTime":783.918,"endTime":787.55,"body":"And what I can say is all of our clients get really"},{"startTime":787.59,"endTime":790.942,"body":"great results. We have one client we worked with for a"},{"startTime":790.966,"endTime":794.702,"body":"year, they literally got no results. And that's the only client and"},{"startTime":794.726,"endTime":798.192,"body":"the reason that they got no results, which we found out after a year"},{"startTime":798.366,"endTime":800.812,"body":"of doing all this stuff. Because SEO takes time, so you need to give it"},{"startTime":800.836,"endTime":804.492,"body":"time.
