Holistic Edge Radio is a podcast that explores choices for wellness to clarify, often cryptic to seemingly simplistic material or regarded as irrelevant to more complicated topics such as new ideas in the environment, or what other cultures in the US have to bring in ways of healing ourselves, others, and the land we live on. It is about a new understanding as these fields change and grow. The show will feature holistic practitioners, medical professionals, sustainability/environment pioneers, energy healers, pet/animal holistic practices, new ideas to address age old problems like hoarding/clutter, addressing psychological and emotional imbalances, ways to address writing, and much more. There will be a tendency to learn more from those located on the East Coast, but this is not a hard fast rule as the program grows.

This is a continuation of the Feb 27, 2025 talk with Dr. Eden Fromberg. In this conversation we learn how to understand women's bodies in a more indepth way. Dr. Fromberg explains how Fascia, a word often used by bodyworkers, is the fibrous map that exists throughout body that connects or holds together and communicates to all organs, which is used to address subtle problems of the body that can lead to serious illness. How important practices like Visceral Manipulation, a form of massage can diagnose such problems in the body, where a pain in the foot may actually be coming from another part of the body, and teaches you to address that instead to resolve the issue. These are techniques modern practitioners have learned from indigenous people known ass bonesetters. She speaks about the many problems bioidentical hormones resolve, which come from plants; how testing hormones by blood is the most accurate; how bioidentical hormones application can have some side benefits like reducing belly fat; and address many other issues without the side effects. Dr. Fromberg has expertise in many healing fields beyond gynecology which has shaped her practice as a pioneering one.

Dr. Fromberg has been a Clinical Professor of OBGYN at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, and an international women's health and media consultant. Dr. Fromberg recently presented a webinar on Fascia and Hormonal Health to the Fascia Research Society, and she has been an invited speaker at the American Congress of OBGYN, World Congress of the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Diseases, Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, medical schools, hospitals, etc. Dr. Fromberg has a practice on a country road 15 minutes outside the river town of Hudson, outside of NYC.
