SPEAKER_04Can we okay? I want to make it clear while we're starting on the 14th episode of the podcast. Can we start a new budget? Or can we start working on it for 2026? Nope. Because 2026 is gonna be our ball out year.
SPEAKER_02Nope. We have not made a penny. We haven't made a dollar. We haven't made a penny.
SPEAKER_04It's gonna be a while before we make a penny, buddy.
SPEAKER_02That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_04So better enjoy that seat. Alright, how about how about alright? Fuck podcasting. What about for Christmas presents? Christmas present from you, I want a new chair.
SPEAKER_02I'll give you I'll give you a$30 budget. Whatever, whatever you can buy for$30, I'll get it for you.
SPEAKER_03For a Christmas present? It's a Christmas present, yeah. I was thinking about at least$150,$200.
SPEAKER_02You're tripping, no.
SPEAKER_03Your budget was the same.
SPEAKER_02$30. Take it or leave it.
SPEAKER_03I will leave that. Okay, that's cool. I will leave that garbage$30 on the floor. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
SPEAKER_02$30 is$30, man. That's not a power.
SPEAKER_04Give it to a homeless person that needs actual$30. Don't give it to me, bruh.
SPEAKER_02Oh, don't give it to$130. That's what he's saying.
SPEAKER_04Yes.
SPEAKER_02All right. Yes. No gift for you.
SPEAKER_04All right. I'll still give you an amazing gift, and it'll be over$200. And you're gonna feel like a piece of shit. Save your money. No, no, no, no, no. I'm about the Christmas of giving. What's up, everybody? Welcome to the I'm Just Saying podcast with your boy, Mr. High, with my sidekick, Mr. Buck. We are kicking it live and throwing it. It is the Christmas time. Fa la la la la. But sing it with me. Fa la la la la.
SPEAKER_02I don't know the lyrics. I'm wondering.
SPEAKER_03Why? Wait, why are you a great song? I've never heard that song.
SPEAKER_02I've never heard that song in my life. Or it maybe I have. You're just singing it badly. Maybe I'm singing it badly.
SPEAKER_04Alright, sing a Christmas song right now. I don't know. No anything. Anything. Christmas. Christmas.
Weeks In Review And Yacht Wedding Tales
SPEAKER_01It's a jolly, jolly Christmas. It's the best season of. I don't remember.
SPEAKER_03That one's on the Merry Christmas, everybody. I hope y'all are having a great month. I hope everything's going great for y'all.
SPEAKER_04We are live and we are working on our Christmas spirit.
SPEAKER_01It is the winter season.
SPEAKER_04We're giving up on the Christmas. You had your chance. This was your Broadway miracle.
SPEAKER_01Finally get back to me. It finally get back to me.
SPEAKER_04This was your Broadway miracle and you fucked it up.
SPEAKER_02Alright. How was your week, Buck? It was great. It was a very cold. Very cold. And I went to watch the new movie. The what was it called? Now you see me, now you don't. Three. Absolute trash, by the way. Don't watch it. Don't waste your money. It's terrible. Buck?
SPEAKER_04For the first time, I'm proud of you. You actually came in here with a fucking story. Man, Buck, thank you.
SPEAKER_02You're welcome.
SPEAKER_03I appreciate you.
SPEAKER_04Man, I hey. Y'all don't understand. Y'all are just listening to this whenever y'all want to, and y'all think, oh, he just came in with okay so he doesn't say nothing at the beginning. So I'm proud that he gave us that. Thank you, Buck, for telling me about your week. All right, I will still beat you. How was your week? I always will. I was on a yacht.
SPEAKER_02Nice.
SPEAKER_04Driving the bay underneath the Golden Gate Bridge. Nice. Chilling, vibing while my boy was getting married to the love of his life. Hey, there we go. It was a vibing. We were kicking it. I saw a dolphin. I saw a whale. It was sick. We have whales in the Bay Area. That was pretty cool. So I enjoyed everything about it. Got really drunk. Really drunk. Did not even remember how I got home. I don't know who I called, but I called somebody because I remember waking up to food. And then the week before that. I actually forgot about that week. I was really drunk that week. But my week was really great. Congratulations to my boy. I hope y'all have a great life. I hope y'all raise beautiful children. I hope you're enjoying your honeymoon. And I hope you're doing a little bit of the Christmas. Bam chickle. Wow, wow.
SPEAKER_02Hey, yo.
SPEAKER_04But yeah, no, my week was great. It was exciting. I was happy for the lovely couple, and I look damn good.
SPEAKER_02Congratulations. You know? Being the bride. I'm happy for you. For me or the bride? You're the bride, no? How am I the fuck you? Hey, you say you went to a wedding. I figured you were the bride.
SPEAKER_04First of all. First of all. Even if I did have a wedding, I wasn't invited.
SPEAKER_02That's crazy.
SPEAKER_04You would probably be invited, but you probably wouldn't go. I would go. I would go. You will go to a four-day bender in Las Vegas at Caesars.
SPEAKER_02I'll see you when you come back.
SPEAKER_04Like I said, you would not go.
SPEAKER_01Very calm. Very calm.
SPEAKER_04Do you know how much money you will be invited? Your invitation will be there. The food is on me. Plane ticket, hotel room, gambling, night of drinking, shows. Maybe hit the strip club. Yeah, that's all in your pocket, buddy. Yeah. It's my day.
unknownOof.
SPEAKER_02That will hurt you. I'll be happy for you. I'll send you a congrats over the text.
UFC 323 Shockers And Title Upheavals
SPEAKER_04Alright. I'm just glad we cleared that up. Motherfucker. Alright. The last time we talked to y'all, it has been like probably two weeks or so. There has been a lot of stuff going on. We have a lot of stuff to talk about, but we're going to talk about the hard-hitting facts. We're going to talk about the hard-hitting stuff to get into. You ready, Buck? Let's do it. Alright, fuck you. Thank you. All right. The UFC 323 LV? Las Vegas. What's going on there? You wrote that. I know, but what's going on?
SPEAKER_02You were up there? Huh? You were in Vegas? Oh. For the 323? For Saturday? No. No? Oh, okay, okay, okay. No. Yeah, I was like, Las Vegas. What does that mean? Like, were you up there or something like that?
SPEAKER_04Oh, oh, that's to let you know, and so I don't die and there's recording of it. I'm going to Vegas next week. Hey. From Friday to Monday.
SPEAKER_02Very nice. Very nice.
SPEAKER_04I need money.
SPEAKER_02Good luck. So, Buck. Anyways. What happened with 323? 323, man. What a card. What a what a way to end the ESPN legacy. Because officially, after this, they're going over to Paramount. Paramount has officially bought the UFC, so they're gonna be there. So no more pay-per-views, as far as we know. Maybe if it's like a massive card, like the White House card, that might be a pay-per-view because Dana's still pretty greedy. But officially, that's the last pay-per-view of for for now, basically, up until they they either leave Paramount or whatever happens there. But what a great card, dude. What a great way to end the season. A lot of unanswered questions. So the main one I want to get to is Pantoja. Now, Pantoja was on the road to become the GOAT of his division. He was gonna rival Mighty Mouse, right? Mighty Mouse has 11 defenses, Pantoja doesn't have that many, but now you think about the amount of talent that is in the modern UFC, it clears whoever Mighty Mouse fought. So that's why he was considered to be the goat. Anyways, fight begins. 20 seconds in, Pantoja throws a kick, Van catches him and pushes him. His elbow snaps as he's falling. 20 seconds in.
SPEAKER_04The most wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. That's what happened? And you don't even offer while we were doing podcast review to even pull it up so I can see it? It was up there. I don't know what I just thought it was a recap. I didn't know there was oh, injury. Oh my bad, people. That was my mistake. I didn't I didn't realize that it was it's up there. I should have looked at it. My bad because you're okay.
SPEAKER_02His arm snaps. The fight ends. Joshua Van became the second youngest champ in UFC history at 24 years old. Uh only beaten by John Jones at 23 years old. One of the most what the fuck moments in the UFC. It was it destroyed everything. And then after that, Morab fought, and he he he's also like the GOAT of his division, and he lost. Two two GOATs of their division just lost. Crazy card. Just also the Mirah fight, even though he did lose, that was a complete shutdown of Morab. Now Mirab is a machine, he's got cardio for days, he's got takedown abilities for days. But he's this fight to turn it more into a striking. He did a lot of takedown attempts, but I I do feel like they were kind of half-assed. Like he just did him to like avoid damage, but it didn't look like he would put his whole heart into it. But if he did, Peter Yon, his opponent, completely neutralized him, dude. I'm telling you, that whole fight, the first two rounds, I'm like, nah, Moral's gonna come back, Moral's gonna come back. But the third round, I'm like, he don't got it no more. He got neutralized, dude. It was it was such a great way to end that year. I'm super happy.
SPEAKER_04You can be happy all you want. You know me, bro. You know who I am. I don't care about a fight card unless if it's actual names that is actual pop in and act. I am a casual UFC fan. I ain't scared to tell no one that. I ain't scared to be mad about it or saying, oh, you don't know fighting about it because of it. Bro, I'm a casual fan. I like who I like, and I'm gonna just follow their career. I'm not following every UFC career. Speaking of careers and who I want to follow, Patty Pimblay and Sean O'Malley should be on the same card in one week. No, next year I'm going to Vegas next week. Nice. And that's why I'm thinking about it. And they're going to be on the same fight card next year in January in Las Vegas, partying it out, and I will be in the stand. I'll be there. I'll be there.
SPEAKER_02You're gonna watch it? No, I will be there.
SPEAKER_03Oh, in the in the I will be in the arena.
SPEAKER_04I will be in the arena, loud, black, and proud. Fair enough. I don't know why I put the black in there, but I feel like we just always do. You're proud that you're black.
SPEAKER_02That's cool. Damn right. No, that's I'm I'm excited for that, those fights too. See, see how see what happens there.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, I'm I'm actually very excited for that.
SPEAKER_02We're we got we got good things to look forward to now that there's gonna be no more pay-per-views, to be honest.
SPEAKER_04I'm excited for that. This is gonna be a new UFC era. Yeah, I'm excited for that. But you know what I'm really excited for? So remember when I told you it was John Cena's last match? Was that three matches ago? Yeah, okay. It was a couple matches ago. So tomorrow is John Cena's last match on Main Event. This will be it. This is what I've been hyping you up for for months. This will be his last match, his last appearance. Scratch the appearance, his last match.
SPEAKER_02That's why I can't trust you when you say last.
SPEAKER_04His last in-ring performance ever.
Casual Vs Hardcore Fans And 2025–26 Fight Hype
SPEAKER_02Are you gonna watch, buddy? What time is it gonna be at? I do not know. Okay. If it's later in the day, I don't know if I'll be able to catch it, but most likely I will watch the recap though, at least to pay my respects.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Yeah. What was your greatest John Cena moment? I'm really about to hit him on some wrestling knowledge and he doesn't even know.
SPEAKER_02I always I always used to like when he used to fight with uh Randy Orton. Those were always those always used to excite me a lot because I always-trany Orton and John Cena rivalry?
SPEAKER_04Huh? The Randy Orton and John Cena rivalry?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah, that was that was one of my that was one of the very few things that well not one of the few things, but that was one of the things I always used to keep up with when WWE came around. Because I I I like Randy Orton. I always liked that John Cena was the good, good, good guy, flashy, everybody loves me, and then Randy Orton used to be the I'm just gonna kill you today. Like, that's I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_04I hear voices in my head. They talk to me, they understand. I do like Randy Orton, I'm gonna lie. That was a good one. I'm gonna lie. That's a good rivalry, and that's a good one that a lot of people will respect, even though you don't watch WWE. So I respect that pick. It ain't the best one, though.
SPEAKER_02No, I I believe you. Throw it at me. Give me some facts.
John Cena’s Final Match And Legacy Debate
SPEAKER_04I would say the best one, like legitly the best John Cena rivalry that like defined a whole era. It will probably either be John Cena versus Edge, which was crazy. I mean, one of the dopest rival, bro, it's one of the dopest rivalries of God, bro. Like, that was so good. Like, I really felt when I was a kid, and I know wrestling is fake, but I knew when wrestling I knew when I like when I was a kid and I watched John Cena and Edge in the ring together, it was just straight felt like they hate each other, bro. And then, like, when that one iconic scene came out, he was like, I hate you. I hate you, I hate what you stand for, I hate what you believe in, I just hate you. And John Cena looks back at him and says, I know. We just like that. Was just such an iconic moment, bro. And then the other one would definitely be the pipe bomb with John Cena CM Punk. He ain't the greatest in that moment, but we got the pipe bomb out of it. Do you know what the pipe bomb is? I'm not 100% sure. I will slap you.
SPEAKER_02Wait, is that the one where CM CM Punk used to go on a crazy rant and just spell the whole truth to everything? Yeah, yeah. Oh, I remember you showed me that one. That's the one where he was talking about how he wanted to be. He wanted to be one of the pillars. Yeah, yeah, okay. I remember that. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Cool, cool, cool, cool. He wanted his own ice cream ball. Yep. Greatest moment of all time. The pipe bomb, like that pipe bomb, like people give that pipe bomb a lot of respect to CM Punk, but you should give the pipe bomb more of a respect to everybody who was involved. CM Punk, obviously, because he delivered the pipe bomb and he was tired, and he just it was just a moment he had to express. John Cena for being the caramazic good boy and everyone's hero, and literally WWE's favorite, and everyone knew it. And then Vince McMahon for being just Vince McMahon. We just without Vince McMahon and that origin of Vince Vince in there, I feel like the pipe bomb wouldn't have hit as hard as it did that day.
SPEAKER_02Because you know all the BS he brings with him.
SPEAKER_04You knew everything. Yeah, you knew every type of BS, you knew everything that was happening, you knew John Cena was like everyone's favorite, you knew Vince McMahon played favorites, and you knew CM Punk was getting shafted every chance they got. So when it really came down to that pipe bomb era, if you didn't have all of those things collide at once, you wouldn't even get that honorable era where you drop the mic, where I can just turn this mic off right now because it was a pipe bomb, it was beautiful. God damn. John Cena, I'm gonna enjoy this last match. I'm not even gonna lie to you.
SPEAKER_02Let me let me ask you a quick question. Now, you've been watching the sport for a very long time, so I feel like you could give me like a pretty good answer. So where would you place John Cena on the GOAT list as a whole? His career, his legacy, the fact that he's beloved. Now the fact that even though he is retiring from one thing, he's shining and glowing in another. Where would you place him as being a figure of not only the sport, but also evolving beyond the sport?
SPEAKER_04That's a fucking good question.
SPEAKER_03Wait, what? Hold up. Who became a fucking news analyst? This is a podcast. Hold up, let me think. God damn, you didn't put that on the chalkboard.
SPEAKER_04Oh man. Well, obviously, you have your greats. Rick Flair, Hulk Hogan, The Rock, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Triple H. The list goes on to Hall of Famers and greats that own their era. The Undertaker, like they own their era. That's why you give them. But if you're gonna talk about like this is a hard one because if this is hard, because there's a lot when it comes to WWE, it's also a show. John Cena was one of the greatest of all time, but like you gotta remember, it was because of other greats that made him look so great. Like The Rock, his era was great, and then you had the John Cena and the Rock feud. That made it great. You had Eddie Guerrero, the greatest man, Latino Heat that ever released a pair of boots. That made him a little great, but because like it was just it was off of everyone's greatness.
SPEAKER_02So safety-safe, safety say he could deliver. He could deliver, he could definitely deliver no matter who he was facing.
SPEAKER_04Yes, no, it was gonna be a show, it's gonna be great. But if I was gonna take it, I'll probably put probably man. But it'll probably be between John Cena and The Rock. Really? Well, if you really like if you really think, if you really think, if you really think about it, John Cena, John Cena and The Rock are two different, they're the same, they're the same thing, but they were in two different eras. When The Rock was at the peak of peaks and at the height of his height, everyone loved him like how everyone loves John Cena right now. He went to the movie gig, everyone loves him like how they love John Cena right now. So I'm not about to disgrace The Rock, who did hella much, and who was like, yo, he did everything that John Cena did, but he did it when there was no playbook. The Rock gave John Cena the playbook of how to win, and he just ran with it, and we love him. We love him, we just love him. So that's what I'm saying. Like, I'm not I will put him in my top five. Everyone knows my top five. Number one is Shawn Michaels, Eddie Guerrero, John Cena, Randy Orton, and then the probably put the rock or triple H there.
SPEAKER_02But shoot. Let me let me ask you this, right? If John Cena was to go and become a great, like like an all-time great actor, do you think that would still like do you think that would like as a fan, would that give him an edge over the rock, or is it cemented like the rock's number one, and then John Cena's like basically number one or number two, but the rock is like a little better, I guess you could say. It depends on how his Hollywood gig goes. But you think there is a chance for John Cena to go on and do so many great things that he just evolves everything.
SPEAKER_04100%. He's not done yet. Yeah, bro. We still got his whole movie arc, we have his television arc, we have his probably presidential arc. Like, there's a lot of stuff that John Cena can provide us, but dude, he made the most wish, make a wish like foundations out of every person in the world.
SPEAKER_02He did more than anybody, just a great human being.
SPEAKER_04I remember when I was 10 and I was hoping I could get sick so I could see John Cena. That's a true statement. I was like, how's I literally went on the website with my brother and I was like, How sick do you need to be to get to make a wish?
SPEAKER_03That's I was 10.
SPEAKER_02No, no, no.
SPEAKER_03Leave me alone. No, no, no, no. Listen, I'm not I didn't know the kids were really good.
SPEAKER_02I'm not judging you like that. It's just I'm laughing because it's something I would have done too. You know what I mean? Like, like question myself.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like hear me out. A lot of people wouldn't say it out loud or on a mic, but I'm gonna say how I feel. Yeah. Yeah, no, I did that shit. I didn't I didn't submit it, but I definitely looked if I qualified.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, for sure. No, for sure.
Streamer Awards Wins, Awkward Moments, And Memes
SPEAKER_04I definitely had to see he does um, you know, 88. A little past respect disorder, you know. Maybe if I get shot, I'm in the hood. Maybe it might like you know, I get grazed and I say, yo, the my dying wishes to see John Cena. Let me just see Cena, bro. That's it. We're good. But make sure they shoot me in the shoulder so I don't really die.
SPEAKER_02Oh man. Man, what a what a what an end of an era. Once he leaves, oh I feel like it's over. It's over. As well. Like now that I'm getting older, I'm kind of realizing that a lot of these professional, like, you know, professional sports, the the retiring age is for an adult is pretty young, right? Like John Cena's what in his late 30s, maybe 40s-ish? Or he is he old? He's pretty old, bro.
SPEAKER_04He's old. He's like 48 or 49. Damn. He's hella old. Dude, what? What? Did you think he never grew up? No, no, no, no. Like, like I figured he was like in his late 30s. I didn't think that's what I'm saying. Well, you think he was? Well, you thought he was 19 when he came to WWE? No, no, no, no. Like you thought he was like, what? He was like 22 or 23 when we first saw him.
SPEAKER_02That's pretty old, I'm not gonna lie. Wrestling? But you did tell me a lot of legends don't really retire up until like.
SPEAKER_04Did I not show you Rick Flair? That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_02That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_04I think Rick Flair retired when he was 60.
SPEAKER_02That's crazy.
SPEAKER_04So much more ahead. So much more. So exciting. So much more ahead. I'm happy for John Cena. I'm ready for it. I'm ready for it. I'm excited for it. I'm gonna enjoy your last time. It is Saturday, main event on Peacock. Tune in, watch it, enjoy his shit. Fuck, you have nothing else to say. On to the spiciness shit in the room. Time to get spicy. Do you have your tea? Where's my water? Cause it's time to get a little spicy in this bitch. Damn, I drank all my water. Oh, that sucks for you, buddy. Enjoy that. I'm gonna enjoy this water while I sip this tea. Streaming awards, gaming awards. We're gonna rapid fire these real quick. Gaming of the year.
SPEAKER_02Yes, sir. Let me see. Dun dun dun! Ishow speed. Congratulations, I show speed. That is streaming awards. Streamer of the year. That's what you said, no? Gaming of the year. Gaming of the year. Oh, gamer of the year. Queso! Queso! Congratulations, Queso!
SPEAKER_04Alright, I really do like Queso, and I'm glad he won Gaming of the Year. Yep. Streamer of the Year, ISO Speed. Thank you for ruining that. But I show Speed, great job, great year. It was actually satisfying. I enjoyed when you came to the bay. Uh what happened to Rakai? Yeah, Rakai lost. What did he lose? It was upcoming streamer. Who won that? Upcoming streamer.
SPEAKER_02Let's see. Oh, best breakout streamer? Yeah. He lost to Adapt.
SPEAKER_04I like Adapt too.
SPEAKER_02Adapt or something like that.
SPEAKER_04So Adapt's actually a good streamer too. So I'm not even going to hate on him. I don't know why a lot of people are hating on Adapt. I don't really like follow all that. I don't follow it. I just listen into it. Rakai got robbed that way. He got robbed. Oh, bro. Okay. How many times have I brung up Adapt? That's what I'm saying. Like you don't even follow streaming. You don't even look at the streamers, right? Like you just nothing, right? No. How many times have I brung up Rakai? And how many times have I brung up Adapt?
SPEAKER_02An annoying amount of times.
SPEAKER_04And I talk about all the streamers. Yeah. I talk about Peanut. I talk about Pokemon. I talk about DDG, FaZe. I talk about all of them. Yeah. And all year I make I make them all known to you because you don't listen to them. Kai, obviously, duh. But how much? Especially Rakai. He's in that pretty deep circle. You don't need to be right. Rakai was a walking meme this year, bro. Yeah. You good, Mutt? You good, Mutt?
SPEAKER_03Mutt. They shot my cameraman. Damn.
SPEAKER_04That's what I'm saying, bro. He was a walking meme this year. You don't even watch streaming and you knew who Kai was. I mean, where Kai was. So it's kind of like crazy that he didn't win that.
SPEAKER_02Freaking politics, man.
SPEAKER_04That was kind of weird. And that's just all I wanted to really talk about. Like, there was a lot of stuff that happened that was the streaming awards were awful. I didn't even watch it. I just watched the highlights of it. And then I watched a little bit of it because the highlights were funny. That was the most awkward ever thing I have ever seen in my life. Like, as an award show, I have never seen. I really thought like DET and all that stuff was like kind of bad performance and all. I did not know that you really do have to tell people what to do and how to laugh at a joke because this was just terrible.
SPEAKER_02Basically, the Oscars, you know what I mean? Terrible, unfunny, forced as hell. Same concept. Same concept. The funniest moment though was when fan fan got bodied by Hassan Piker. That was so funny.
SPEAKER_01That was crazy. Dude, for like for like 10 seconds, we were going like.
SPEAKER_04Oh Yeah, I won't even lie to you. I won't even. I I think they I think okay, I know what the media wants me to do. I know what society wants me to do.
SPEAKER_02That was just the moment.
SPEAKER_04Hassan won that one. That was just the moment.
SPEAKER_02That was just a great moment.
SPEAKER_03I was so funny. I was like looking at him like, yo, you said that with the straight face, looking at the camera. You are a savage for that.
SPEAKER_04Funny, that was the funniest. She did not make one funny joke.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that was.
SPEAKER_04Like we're talking about, if we're talking about her, like through when she walked around all those panels talking to all the famous people, there was not one joke I laughed because of her. There's a lot of jokes I was laughing at.
SPEAKER_02The Kai joke was kind of funny, though. The Kai joke was kind of funny. Which Kai? The the one where she's like, Good job on the least qualified Academy this year. That was funny. I wouldn't, I wouldn't give her that one. That was funny because Kai didn't even say anything. He just looked at her like, that's not funny. But you know, like I'm like, okay, that was pretty funny. That's pretty funny. It wasn't even an academy, it was like a groove, you know what I mean? I know like a popularity contest, basically. But it was funny. I like that.
SPEAKER_04It was a popularity contest, but let's be real with it. Without the streaming academy, we wouldn't got Tota. We wouldn't know who Tota is. That's the Brazilian streamer.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. There you go.
SPEAKER_04We wouldn't know who Emily Extra Emily is. Well, we wouldn't know how big Extra Emily is now without Streaming Academy. We wouldn't know about a lot of these new streamers that just showed up in the streaming world without that academy. So she kind of fucked up because, like, yo, Kai really do a lot for streamers that needs a little jump start.
The Ironmouse Incident And Internet Outrage
SPEAKER_02No, no, she she just made fun of about the fact that he named it an academy when it wasn't. It was a contest, you know what I mean? That was that was the academy. That was a joke. That was the joke.
SPEAKER_03Okay, what contest did they win?
SPEAKER_02No, no, I mean it wasn't like a contest contest. If you are the best content creator, you become the most popular throughout the whole thing. It was basically a popularity contest the whole time. Who had the best moments? Who at the end of the day. But isn't that what a streamer is? You gotta show out. So I get that. That's what I'm saying. Like the whole why am I explaining the joke? But the whole thing is because you need to explain yourself, mother. The whole thing was that it wasn't like an academy, it was like a get together, and let's have a contest to see who's the next big thing gonna be. It was a contest. That's what I'm saying. Like, that was the joke, and I like the joke. I thought it was kind of funny.
SPEAKER_04Okay, I'm gonna I'm gonna retaliate. Retaliating like this, bro. You ever watched Harry Potter? Hell yeah. Do you like Harry Potter? I do. Okay. What happens when a group of kids go in there and they all have the same magic, but a couple of them are better. Is it a contest? It's a contest. Or is it a canopy? It's a contest.
SPEAKER_02Stop lying to yourself.
SPEAKER_04Well, that was an academy because you actually no no no no no no. Now we're about to bring it back to it. You just bring that. Now I'm going back to streaming. Did everyone who was in that school have a stream on at all times? Yeah. Now everyone has streams. Did they have teachers that are popular streams teaching them?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And in that time, wait, wait, wait, wait. In that time, was there a streamer above all else who has the most streams? Walking around? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04And then was there only a select few out of all those streamers on the camera of all those children out there in the world for the class of 2025? Were they better than the others? Yeah. Did they find teacher pets? Probably. Is it not an academy? It was a contest. It was an academy.
SPEAKER_03It wasn't an academy. It was an academy. You can't keep saying yes to everything I'm saying, and then now you're gonna say no. No, no. It was a contest. No, it was not. It was an academy. He was he was Dumbledore. Fucking DDG was Voldemort.
SPEAKER_04But if Voldemort, but if D like if Voldemort actually had some pimping in him, we can call him pimp pimp Voldemort DDG. Bro, this fool hid in a girl's closet. Like that was a pimping move.
SPEAKER_02That's crazy.
SPEAKER_04So yes, I will consider that an academy asshole.
SPEAKER_02No, I'm not taking it from him. I'm just saying that was a good contest. I'm gonna hurt you.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna hurt you. So now the one thing I did want to talk about is how Peanut Peanut took over the end of the year. I'm gonna give him to that. That was like organic. You just took over everything. Like, I like you, like I'm gonna be real with you. When was the first time you heard of Peanut? I think it was right when Ark Raiders came out. I think you brought him up around that time, yeah. So I think right when Ark Raiders came out, I think he became the popular Ark Raiders streamer with his Goomballators or something. Love ya, buddy. I'm gonna just say this right now. Peanut, you sir, alright. You capitalized on one game and made sure you can make a following that will follow you throughout, even if you leave that game. Peanut, sir. I congratulate you, sir. That was the end dupular of you. It's a goopolar term. You won't know. I don't know what you're talking about. See, this is why you can't play video games with me.
SPEAKER_02No, like I generally don't know what you're talking about.
Netflix, Warner Bros, And Are Theaters Doomed
SPEAKER_04Embarrass me when we're out there on that field. Embarrass the hell out of me. Alright, anything else of the stream? Oh, the streaming awards? A streaming awards, yeah. All in all, I honestly don't think everything needs an award. Like a streamer is I know y'all want y'all accomplishments. I know y'all want your gratification that y'all actually are doing something. I get it. I get it. Movies have it, games have it, anime has it. But if you're gonna do a streaming award, you really do need to just like maybe put effort, a little money spent, maybe hire some real singers. Like, maybe, like, you know, y'all streamers, you're telling me y'all can have all these guest appearances on your stream, but you can't have some of them come sing at your award show. I'm being real on that.
SPEAKER_02Someone's gonna have a talent somewhere.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna be real on that. Like, you have all of these. Oh, I'm collabing with this guy. Oh, he's on my stream. Oh, look at this guy, we're streaming. Oh, look at this guy, oh, we're streaming. Hey, look, I'm streaming. Hey, I'm gonna be real with y'all. If y'all have all those collabs, why can't you do it on the biggest stage when y'all all are there? You couldn't have Drake come out of nowhere and just pop a song or two? NBA Youngboy. Nah, y'all can't afford nah they can't afford that. They can't afford neither one of them. Let's go a little lower.
SPEAKER_02I don't yeah, I don't think they could afford any major singer. Let's go a little lower. If they were a streamer, maybe. Hey, they should have put DDG to start rapping and or something there.
SPEAKER_04I would have loved a DDG rap. Like it would have been more, it would have been more dope and entertaining having actual people that perform and do the like musical stuff and the musical stuff like to entertain a crowd to hype up the audience that were watching it.
SPEAKER_02Give me a concert.
SPEAKER_04They did. Oh, they did? Yeah. Oh. Iron Mouse. All right.
SPEAKER_03I guess.
SPEAKER_01I guess.
SPEAKER_03You want to look it up real quick? Just go on TikTok.
SPEAKER_01I guess. Whatever you say.
SPEAKER_03Hey, bro.
SPEAKER_04You asked if they gave you anything. They did give you something. I'm just saying I actually wanted people who actually sing. Like, you know, like it would like.
SPEAKER_01Oh no, it's one of the it's one of those head swing things.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I kind of want your live reaction on the mic while you watch this.
unknownOh god.
SPEAKER_04I really do want your live reaction while you're watching this.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, at least she got the courage to sing. Couldn't be me though.
SPEAKER_04I'm just saying, even though she had the courage to sing or whatever, no Ariana Grande.
SPEAKER_02They couldn't like you know, going back to the budget, they couldn't afford that.
SPEAKER_04MM.
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_01Selena Gomez? I doubt that.
SPEAKER_02They could probably afford like Ja Ru or something. Two chains? Nah. I feel like two chains wouldn't do it just for the love of it. Tiger? Does he need money?
SPEAKER_04Think he needs clout?
SPEAKER_02He could probably do it.
SPEAKER_04Soja boy? Something. Something. Anything.
SPEAKER_02Just give me a a buck or two for something. Give me a real artist. Not a streamer artist. Give me a real artist. Like that would be nice.
SPEAKER_04That would be very nice. So, like, I won't be real with you.
SPEAKER_02It was a whole joke.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no. Streamer awards, y'all gotta do better. And also, I did want to talk about this, but we're gonna like talk about it a little bit, but not that much. Iron Mouse and the Rakai and Ray incident. Yeah. We're gonna talk about this very quickly because we don't have all of the information and I really don't care. Sorry. Not sorry. Iron Mouse, Rakai and them came up to Iron Mouse. They asked her, asked her a couple of questions. She felt awkward and not like shaken up about the questions that they were asking her. She asked the question, they she answered the questions and then they walked away, and she walked away. And apparently, I guess people called her brave for the situation. We both watched that situation multiple times. We replayed both of the scenes and everything, the angles, all of it. What the fuck is the world coming to?
SPEAKER_02I don't even know. I I I have no words.
SPEAKER_03Like I have no words. Like, like, what is the world coming to?
SPEAKER_04That's such a she wasn't even there. She could have turned off her iPad at any time and said it was a technical glitch.
SPEAKER_02No face on an iPad using an avatar. You could literally tell the person holding the iPad to be like, oh, I don't want to talk to them. Easy as that.
SPEAKER_03Or you could have muted your mic and technical difficulties and then say bye.
SPEAKER_02Through the conversation, there was no like it, there was no like bad back and forth. Maybe, maybe she felt rushed, but like you're not even there, bro. You're on the phone, you're on the tablet. You can just put your phone further from the face.
SPEAKER_04Not even there. And even if you felt rushed, like you have so many people behind you. You weren't there.
SPEAKER_01You're not you're not even there, dude. What am I talking about?
SPEAKER_04You had so many people behind you.
SPEAKER_02You're not even in there.
SPEAKER_03You're not even in the room.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, this is this is just one of those whatever moments. You know what I mean? Like, like I have no words, because if I say what I feel like, I'll probably get real mad. But this is just a stupid. A stupid moment. Stupid moment. They were nice about it. Yeah, they ask you, are you cute? It's like uncomfortable questions. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe. But like it's not like serious. It's not that deep. No, not that. You don't need to go write a book now. Yeah, not not at all.
SPEAKER_03I feel like when like when I first And you're not even there.
SPEAKER_02You're not even there, bro. That's the thing I cannot get over. You're not even there. You're not showing your face. You're not there. You have a VTuber avatar. You're not there.
SPEAKER_03That's like if that's like if like I don't even know how you can.
SPEAKER_04That's like if like I'm FaceTiming you and the girl that you like is with me, and I give her the phone. Turn off the phone.
SPEAKER_03And the call. Technical difficulties. Like, I gotta get up.
SPEAKER_04You cannot stress this enough that literally she was on a FaceTime call and she could have literally hung up, waited until they left, and then re-dialed and reconnect. She was the okay, let's put it. I'm gonna put it this way. Fuck the situation. Let's put it this way. If there was an earthquake and everyone was in in there, and they all got stuck in there, there's only one person that's in there that's home. If everyone, like if there was an earthquake, if there was a fire, if there was a real emergency, everyone in there is actually in danger and actually can get hurt, and there's actually some real something that can probably happen. The only person that can just turn off her turn everything off and turn on TV instantly is her. Yep. That's ridiculous that we're talking about this.
SPEAKER_02Why is it even a thing? It it shouldn't be. It's not supposed to. It's not it's not how it's literally not. It's not a thing. It's not a thing. That's crazy, dude.
SPEAKER_03Like, imagine if I told you this years ago.
SPEAKER_04Bro, do you know that later in the future that someone on the monitor is going to be filled and violated from someone who's in real life at a studio at a streaming awards? Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02A year ago, that sentence would have made no sense. Bar for bar, what happened? Literally. Now, now it's a thing. You know, now it's probably gonna become a thing, but like Peanut didn't even show up.
SPEAKER_04He just got on the monitor and was went back to gaming. He literally went back to Arc Raiders after he accepted his award.
SPEAKER_01That's crazy.
SPEAKER_04Crazy. Crazy. She could have gamed. She could have turned on a game and said, sorry, I'm gaming while I'm waiting to go to my seats or something. Bye bye bye, bye bye bye.
SPEAKER_02She just did a concert too. You literally just did a concert for hundreds of people.
SPEAKER_04Boom, boom, boom, teleport, teleport because I'm a streamer, I can stream, I'm a VTuber, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. I don't know why we what happened to us.
SPEAKER_02I don't even know.
SPEAKER_04This is really a thing. I guess. Okay. I I can't. I refuse to take this seriously. I refuse.
SPEAKER_02That's wild.
SPEAKER_03If I see anyone in a courtroom for this, if I see her in the monitor in the courtroom.
SPEAKER_02You're just gonna you're just gonna yell at her, see if she gets scared.
SPEAKER_01Just yell at the screen, see if she gets scared.
SPEAKER_04I am done. I am officially. How funny would that be though?
SPEAKER_01That would be super crazy.
SPEAKER_04You have Ray and Rakai on one side, and then you have her on the monitor.
SPEAKER_01Story time.
SPEAKER_04Oh man. Sorry, Iron Mouse, you gave us the content. I'm not sorry for this. Yeah, that's so. We would have not even talked about this if you did not talk about this. I don't even know why you're talking about this. What are we talking about?
SPEAKER_02What are we even doing here?
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, man. Alright. On to a lighter onto lighter news, which was hella fun. I mean, that was hilarious, but goddamn, that's just I don't understand how that happened. Alright, Netflix buys Warner Brothers.
SPEAKER_02Really? It's gonna Paramount just made a big like move to try to get Warner Bros. But the conversation is pretty deep into Netflix getting it. So I feel like at this point, Netflix will probably get Warner Bros. Is this the end of theaters, bro? I love the theaters. I love going to the theaters. Is this gonna be the end of the theaters?
SPEAKER_04When do you go watch movies? When do you go outside?
SPEAKER_02Like I don't wanna say like once a week, maybe once every other week. If there's a good movie coming out, or if I'm excited for something, I'll probably go watch it. Avatar's coming out, so I'm probably gonna go watch that when it comes out next week.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, you did go just watch uh now see me two, right?
SPEAKER_02Now you see me three. Absolute trash. Garbage.
SPEAKER_04Not even worth watching?
SPEAKER_02No, I waited 10 years for that crap.
SPEAKER_04Remember, we're on the mic, we're recording. People will take this review seriously.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I I'm gonna stamp that. I gave that five out of ten on IMDB, and you can quote me on that. Damn. Dude, I waited 10 years for that garbage. That's those characters were not now you see me one and now you see me two characters. Those were shells of them of the other characters. Terrible, dude. Magic tricks weren't as good. The writing was terrible. You intro introduced three new characters and they don't even hold up. And then not just that, but you literally just give me shells of my past characters that I care about. Nah, bro. I'm sorry you lost me.
SPEAKER_04When you say shells, like shit. Like it's just actually let's not ruin it for someone who will watch the movie. Someone who's a real fan. You're a hater. No, no, listen. I forgot. Actually, wait, I completely forgot. I cannot take your thing at self-value. You are the number one person I know that hates on everything you love.
SPEAKER_02I love the first two. I love the first two. That's how I made you gonna hate on it. Which is why I waited for 10 years and they gave me this garbage. Hell no.
SPEAKER_04See, I wish we were recording when the first two came out, so I have video evidence of you saying you only loved it and you didn't say nothing of hate. Because you only talk about hate. I always talk, I always tell you the things I love. And how much do you tell me the things you hate? A lot more. A lot more. And how much times is the hate and love in the same sentence? All the time. Okay. That's my case. But I there's nothing I love about this one.
SPEAKER_02No, but going back to Warner Bros., I'm kind of nervous. I mean, we're talking the Dune franchise, we're talking DC, we're talking all the properties that Warner Bros. owns. Bro, Netflix is probably not gonna put them in theaters. And if they do, they're probably gonna give them like one week some weird ass unknown theater, and then they're gonna take them out because they didn't make a billion dollars.
Anime Movies: Recaps, Hits, And Misses
SPEAKER_04No, I like that. You like streaming over theaters? Yes and no. You wanna know why? Why? Because if a movie's really good, it deserves to be on the big screen. And if it's let me finish here. And if it's on the big screen, you only deserve that. Like no one's paying their hard-earned money for a maybe good movie anymore. No one's gonna take that gamble. Fuck that gamble. That gamble is bullshit. I'm not about to pay 17 to 20 bucks for movie popcorn and all the extra, et cetera, shit, to sit there for three hours to say that this movie was a piece of crap. I'm not living in the 90s anymore. You know what time we do live in? We live in the era of streaming where we can get the greatest movies or trashest movies right when we get home or look on our phones and watch it and just say if it was good or not. Now, let me tell you this, son. Even though you love movies, even though you love going to the theater, the theater will not die. The theater is a staple of theater movies. I promise you, cinema is gonna stay here forever, just not in the way you think it's gonna be different. I'm getting to it. Now, yes, they got a lot of great shows and great movies that they did get under their belt. But remember this, buddy. How many times would you go watch, let's say, Spider-Man, the first original one in theaters again?
SPEAKER_02I did.
SPEAKER_04How many times would you go watch Star Wars in theaters again?
SPEAKER_02Oh, I missed it. I wanted to, but I missed it.
SPEAKER_04How many times would you go watch let's give it a good one? A one piece movie again in the theaters.
SPEAKER_02I did. Okay. So this is even though it was trash. I gave it a chance because that's the beauty of a theater. I give it a chance because it's in the theaters. The thing about these companies is you're not gonna know it's a hit because they put it automatically in streamings. And even if it is a hit on streamings, even if it is a hit on streamings, they're not gonna put it in the theaters because they make more profit by having it on streaming. Predator Battlance, right? Prey went straight to streaming. Better movie. It did not even have a theater run. I love Prey. I love Prey. And I would have watched it in the theaters. Predator Battlance, guess what? They put it on the theaters because it was a hit. The thing is, what I'm saying is, you gotta at least let this movie have a chance. What what Netflix wants to do, what Paramount wants to do, what the Rat Disney wants, what Disney wants to do, is they don't want to put them on the theaters because they want to have all the attention while you're streaming the movie. Now, the reason I like theaters is because I go into the theater and I I experience the movie. I can watch it at home and that's fine, and I could watch the movie the same way. But it's a whole different thing when I watch it in the theaters because I love the theaters. And I love the experience of watching the movie in the theater. So that's the only reason why I'm mad because I know that if a movie's a hit, you're not gonna know it's a hit because it went straight to streaming. What if they put what if they put it on theaters? It might have been a hit, but you're never gonna know that. The chances, the chances are getting slimmer, and that's exactly what they want.
SPEAKER_04Okay, so let me just to put you let me put you in something in a movie you don't know. Was K-pop demon hunters a hit? Yes, did K-pop demon hunters go to theaters? No, yes, they yes. Oh, okay. I didn't watch it. I don't know. Did K-pop Demon Hunters win week like the whole weekend they debuted, their weekend of movies? Did they get the highest grossing that weekend? Did they? Yes. So there is an avenue from stream to theater and not theater to stream.
SPEAKER_02But did it release first on streaming or streaming? Streaming. So it was first theater, streaming, and then they put on the theaters.
SPEAKER_04They they gave it three weeks on the stream, and then after they saw the grosses of it, they put it to theaters for the for two weeks. Okay. And they also did an extra week and it was a sing-along.
SPEAKER_02When has Netflix ever done that before?
SPEAKER_04This was the first time they did it, and now they're gonna do it with uh Stranger Things season five for the finale because they know it's a hit. That's what I'm saying. They know Stranger Things is a hit, they know it's a finale, so they're letting the finale get played in theaters. That that that the finale is two hours and 40 minutes long.
SPEAKER_02It's safe to say those are massive hits.
SPEAKER_04Stranger Things?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. And it's safe to say K-pop Demon Hunters was trending at a huge level compared to any other movie. Remember when Frozen came out? Yeah. Exactly like that. Okay, these were hits. You think if a regular movie comes out, they're even gonna let it go to the theaters? No. That's what I'm saying. Like, they're not giving it, they're not giving it a chance. But wait, wait, wait, wait. No, if no, the stream. When Dune 3 comes out, most likely that's gonna be in theaters, right? Yes. Because that's a hit.
SPEAKER_04When a known name, that's not fair though, because you're talking about a movie that already came in theaters first and was a hit, and then it did that little streaming because of COVID, and now it's coming back to theaters because it's a hit. I'm not saying that movies are not a hit. I'm saying, I'm saying that movies don't need to be in theaters first anymore. Now let's put it this way. Now you see me three, were you gonna watch it? Yes. If it came out on Netflix first, were you still gonna watch it? Probably. So either way, you were gonna watch it. You're gonna hate it no matter what. If it was on Netflix or in the theaters, you were gonna hate now you cv3 guaranteed. Probably but if say, let's see if let's say a show that like what's a sh what's a movie you like this year? Predator. Predator. So, like, let's say if predator, if predator came out in Netflix, you were gonna watch it, right? Yeah, if it came out in theaters, you were watching it, you're gonna watch it anyway. Oh, hell yeah. 100%. So no matter what, you're gonna watch that movie and you were gonna love it, right?
SPEAKER_02But it was a whole different experience watching it in the theaters.
SPEAKER_04I understand that. Now let me get there. When you're at home watching it, you're gonna love it still, right? Probably. So when it comes to the theaters, and they say after a week of it being on stream, and they say, hey, it's in the theaters now.
2026 Anime Hype And Fan Expectations
SPEAKER_02What did you just say? They might have put on theaters, but Netflix is really not uh really not of a forgiving, lenient type. They're pretty cutthroat.
SPEAKER_04No, they are, but unless if you they're cutthroat on new predator is a genre, aliens is a genre, everything that like has a cult following, they give massive money to. Let's put it an example. One piece. One piece, one piece got a live action show. If they were so cutthroat as you say, why was their budget so big?
SPEAKER_02Because you have 20 years of history.
SPEAKER_04That's what I'm saying. They had the cult following from this franchise, so they said, fuck it. Fuck on our Netflix original, we're gonna put it on your money.
SPEAKER_02But having a long having a long legacy gives you more leverage, right? 100%. But what if you are a new legacy? What if you're trying to start a new legacy? You start it on the stream, just like K-pop hunters. They're probably not gonna give you what K-pop demon hunter, something that's not gonna be in theaters. You think number two is not gonna hit the that's what I'm so what I'm saying is imagine if a movie comes out, right? Because it's difference. Some movies get completely, they make no fucking money when it comes to theaters, okay, and then they blow up in streaming. Okay, and some movies do real good on streaming, or they don't do that good on streaming. Imagine if on theaters they would have done good. That's what I'm saying. Like, it's such a iffy.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no, no, no. No, because now you put an example that already exists, but now you want it to be more proven by people going to it without the other being there. When there wasn't streaming, when streaming didn't exist, you had blockbuster and you had theaters being the only one to see the movies first. They controlled it all for years. I'm not gonna let you act like they didn't. They owned, they owned us. Yeah, we did. We're forced to watch whatever we loved. We had to pay that fee if we wanted to watch The Hawk, Iron Man, The First Avengers, everything we had to watch, that was their streaming didn't exist. It was all in the theaters. They owned that shit. Now that streaming's in play, now that we have the choice to pick the movies we like, and as a community, as a world, not America, not Africa, not Brazil, not Puerto Rico, not China, not Japan. The whole world has a choice during streaming times to see who is our number one. Example, Squid Game, example, Stranger Things, Game of Thrones. We all as a community on streaming platforms watched it, agreed that it was a good show, replayed it, made posts about it, made cold followings about it, made fan pages about it. That is what we took away from the theaters. Now they're butthurt because they don't make as much money as they used to when they controlled all the movies. I'm telling you right now that as Mr. High is talking, they are just mad that streaming is giving us every single movie. Bro, we don't like every single movie, we don't even enjoy a lot of the movies that come out every year. But when it comes to streaming, we have a chance to say, fuck it, give it a chance until you get the big boys, Superman Iron Man. The big boys go in the theaters first because we already know they're making profit, Demon Slayer. They're making profit already. We don't need to test drive it and put it in the theaters first to see if they make profit. Streaming numbers say they're going to make profit. So I'm telling you right now, it's more better for us to have it on streaming before theaters. And I'm gonna be very honest with you. I think if Prey didn't come out on stream, they wouldn't get a better movie like they did now because before Prey, we had that trash ass Predator movie that everyone had to pay for for that big ass red fucking predator. So remember, remember, we had zero trust in Predator after that movie as a fan base, and they gave us prey on streaming for us to regain that trust. I said my peace.
SPEAKER_02I'm just nervous. Hopefully, hopefully, they don't do what what I think they're gonna do. I'm pretty sure they're gonna do it anyways, but like I said, it's just kind of where the world is heading. I love the theaters. I love watching a movie of the theater. Don't do it, Netflix. I know your other CEO said something about people don't enjoy the movies, but movies are still making a billy, son. People still enjoy the theaters, even though AMC and all these are kind of gouging your eyes out. I still like sitting down and watching the movie, dog. Also, AMC, clean your seats, bro. Nasty.
SPEAKER_04So yeah, no, I'm happy that the movie, the movie cinema work. They gotta work for us. Work for us, bro. We're not gonna just give you the money. You gotta just you gotta work for us. They take the money, and then take my money, you know, like Avatar, bro. I don't I don't need to see that and shit.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I'm so excited for that, dude. I'm gonna see that the not the day it comes out, but the week it comes out. I'm gonna be sitting there watching it because that's a legacy. That's a third movie.
unknownWoo!
SPEAKER_04So that's what I'm saying. You gotta think about it. They already know they're gonna make money on they already know they're gonna make money on Avatar. So it makes no sense for Disney to put Avatar on their streaming platform first because they know they're gonna make money and they're gonna miss out on the people that's gonna only watch it one time. But for people who won't watch their shit, aka Ironheart, that shit goes to streaming. I enough that shit goes straight to streaming. I ain't spending no dime in the theater to watch that shit. So that's what I'm saying. There's just a difference in this, like it's a different platform. If you want to be a great franchise, you gotta be you gotta win us over in streaming, and then after you win us over in streaming, you get the movie debut that you want. It's a it's a it's a goal to be in the theater now. You don't just get to have it anymore. That shit is over with the box office agrees, bro. Like, all right, let's let's say this. It was a trash ass movie, but if we didn't have streaming and social media and like the willpower knowing that we don't have to go to the theater to give our opinion on a movie, how better do you think that new Snow White movie would have done?
SPEAKER_02Oh no, that movie was cursed. That shit was bound to flop. Everything about that movie was was just destined to flop.
SPEAKER_04No, that snow white movie was destined to flop. I'm not saying that. Even in back times, it would have flopped. Even it will back it'll flop back then.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_04But how many more people would have gone to go see it because they wouldn't have been able to wait for the stream because they know it would have never it would have come out on a DVD. Like, think about that for a second. No, no, no.
SPEAKER_02Like all the little girls, all the little kids, like, think about that for a moment. I get I get what you're saying. I really do. What I'm saying is there was so much controversy around that movie that it was even if it came out back then, if because you know, back then the headlines were more cutthroat. Like if an actor did something or director did something or said something, ooh, they were on you 110%. And you were already slowly chipping away at what that box what that movie was gonna make in the box office. This movie, through all the controversies, the delays, the extra money spent, the CGI, the little people that lost their jobs, this movie had already so much history around it that it was bountaflop. Like you, you could I could you could call it right? But if it was back then, I feel like it wouldn't even have made as much money as it made now, because they would have been on its neck from the beginning to the end. And I feel like it would have done worse back then.
SPEAKER_04Cause now, you know, people now I really think you're lying to yourself, bro. Like, even I would have had to go watch it. Because I had little dieses and sisters and shit, they wouldn't want to watch Snow White, but because of the streaming and because of like, you know, YouTube and like social media, they made their own opinion off of like, you know, you can really like nowadays you can know what's about to happen in the movie without really going to see the movie. They made their own opinion saying they wanted to see it. Okay, let's put it this way they wanted to see it when the first trailer came out, and then after seeing all the reviews and YouTubing, they didn't want to see it. So think of a time when we were back then when a movie just came out on your TV on that big box. Probably yours was a very small box in a dark room, but that that small box in a dark room underneath the stairs with Rocco? They only showed you the trailers, and then you just had to make up your decision on that trailer. Dad, can you take me to this movie? Mom, can you take me to this movie? Like, let's all right, let's put it this way. To me, how many times where how many times did you review like as a kid? Because we're gonna put ourselves in their age right now. As a kid, how many times did you watch or read a review on the first Spider-Man movie?
SPEAKER_02Oh, those came out way before me. Oh, when you when you were uh Spider-Man 3 that were I that one I didn't even watch because it was so much bad thoughts about like so much bad talk about it. I didn't I didn't watch it back then. I didn't watch it. Did you watch it back then? No, I watched because the bad thing.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, because I think you hmm. Oh then maybe it probably would be the same then. Because it did you make that opinion because you watched YouTube, or did you make that opinion?
SPEAKER_02It was a little bit of like early YouTube and a little bit of like early reading what they would taught say about the movie, like oh you know.
SPEAKER_04So social media made an influence on that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, like a like not exactly social media, but like websites, like talking about the tournament too. You were younger. That one, that one, nothing but positive things. I would see, hear, nothing but positive things. So that would like really be like, I want, I need to see this movie. How old were you when you was watching reading these reviews? Like in my 11 or 12 years old. So it wasn't, I wasn't like they had already come out before me, because you know I'm I'm only 25, but they had already been out for a minute. So it's one of those things where I was young where I couldn't really see it, but then if I could read that it was good and it wasn't like super violent or something like that, I was allowed to see it basically.
SPEAKER_04Fuck, I don't want that. How many years do I have to go up on this? Uh Avatar like you're making me feel old now. Avatar, the first movie.
SPEAKER_02I also watched it because I heard really good things about.
SPEAKER_03What was a movie that you fucking turned on the TV and watched a trailer and went to go see the movie?
SPEAKER_02No, like like a lot of a lot of movies. I watched the trailer and right off the bat, I'm like, okay, that looks like a good trailer. I'm gonna go watch it. You know what I mean? Like a lot of movies would come up like that. But at the same time, like a lot of like I I would always read about the movie. Like if if people used to say it was good a little bit or if they used to say it was bad. If if I heard too many too many negative things about it, it's kind of like, oh, I probably don't want to see it. Because I, you know, I'm not a lot I can't go to the theaters all the time, so I'm probably gonna try to find a good movie that I really want to see. Okay that I heard positive reinforcement on.
SPEAKER_04Okay, I'm gonna end my I'm gonna end the topic right there. That's the reason why streaming is gonna win, is because a lot of people, even though they want to see a movie, they heard that it was bad. If it was on the stream and it was 12 o'clock at night, you're still gonna turn it on just to give it a chance. You're not trying to pay your hard-on money every time you watch a movie. All right, on to the next thing because we know about you, but I do.
SPEAKER_00Fuck you, dude.
GTA Updates, Delays, And Hype Burnout
SPEAKER_02Dude, why do you think I gave now you Z Me 3 a chance? Because you're an idiot.
SPEAKER_01That shit was terrible.
SPEAKER_04Okay, we're gonna move on. I still spent my money on, you know, because you're an idiot. Like, you know, what else can I tell you, bro? I wasn't gonna go watch that shit.
SPEAKER_01I did. I love the theaters.
SPEAKER_04All right, JJK movie. Did you watch it?
SPEAKER_02No, I heard it's a recap. What 20 minutes ish, 40 minutes of new content? I might as well just wait for the series, bro. I'm not even gonna lie to you.
SPEAKER_04I'm not even gonna lie, I'm on that same type of mood because I feel like Chainsaw Man, I watched it. Great movie. A great movie. Great movie, great movie. Guy did just a phenomenal movie. But Dude, the ending was just crazy, dude. The ending was sad as fuck. Like, I was just like, damn, that sucks. The ending of that was that was a good one. I'm not even gonna get into it, but you should watch it.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna watch it. We're gonna go next week when we talk about it. I'll give you my thoughts definitely.
SPEAKER_04That was uh I like that one. That one was pretty cool. JJK, I didn't watch it. Just be the only reason I didn't watch it is because I heard it was a recap. And also the fact of the matter is not spending my money in the theaters unless if it's worth it to watch a recap.
SPEAKER_02I'm not watching it because it's a recap. If it was a new movie, I would be watching it. That's what I'm saying. I'm not watching because it's a recap.
SPEAKER_04Demon Slayer came out with a new brand new movie.
SPEAKER_02And nobody and everybody was saying nothing but good things about it. So guess what? I watched it.
SPEAKER_04Everyone's saying good things about this one too, but it's just a recap.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, like that's all you're mad about. No, no, like that's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. It's a recap. I don't know. You just be careful. I remember everything about JJK season two. I'm good.
SPEAKER_04What happened in the last episode? Ooh. What happened in the last episode?
SPEAKER_01He got he got sealed.
SPEAKER_04You need to work on your fucking laugh. That was the weirdest and creepiest laugh. No, I just that was a joker laugh. You understand me? You had evil intentions behind that laugh.
SPEAKER_02Hey, I just did it to rub it on your face. That's it.
SPEAKER_04He's not even my favorite character.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, he's not mine either.
SPEAKER_04My favorite character is the blood dude.
SPEAKER_02I like Toji. I feel like Toji's a bad. Toji Toji came out, came. No, no, he was that's 10 to be erased early in the story, but he's a great character, though. I like Toji. Okay.
SPEAKER_04So the JJK movie came out. We both didn't watch it. I heard it was a recap. Go watch it yourself. I'm gonna just say I'm not here for recaps, and I refuse to watch a recap. I'll watch the first episode, and then we can go and be geeky about anime on the first episode. Oh, new anime in 2026. There's gonna be a lot of good anime in 2026. We got hints that Black Clover's coming back, Hell's Paradise is coming back. Fist of the North.
SPEAKER_02Fist of the North Star.
SPEAKER_04See, I'm getting tired of these long ass anime fucking No, no, no.
SPEAKER_02This is this is OG pops. This is 80s, 70s, we're talking about here.
SPEAKER_04Why is it on the 2026?
SPEAKER_02Because they're making a new series about it. Dude, I'm so excited. You don't understand, bro. This is this is Dragon Ball or before Dragon Ball even. I said hype. What is this, dude? No one knows. Hey, I'm I'm hyped as fuck. I don't know what you're talking about. I'm hyped as fuck right now. I love Fitz North Star.
SPEAKER_01I don't know what you're talking about, son. That's that's some OG shit. Bro, bro, bro.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god. Bro.
SPEAKER_01So excited.
SPEAKER_03Bleach the final season. Any you talking about an 80s show?
SPEAKER_022026 show, but yeah.
SPEAKER_04Oh, God help me. Alright. God help me, dude.
SPEAKER_03What else? Is that the only thing you put up there?
SPEAKER_02In Hell's Paradise, season two.
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna say.
SPEAKER_02About damn time. About damn time. Hey, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hell's Paradise got some pretty good hype when it first came out. Slap. Put some respect on Hell's Paradise name. It got some pretty good hype when it first came out.
SPEAKER_04It got great hype. I just it's just you.
unknownWhat?
SPEAKER_02It's just you. Bro, listen. I love Hell's Paradise. I'm excited as fuck.
SPEAKER_04Buck. Hell's Paradise ended in the worst way to end a season I've ever watched.
SPEAKER_02It's going by the mango panels. It's not gonna give you some big ass climax. So then it should stop. You're just supposed to be excited for next season.
SPEAKER_04How long did we wait? I'm not dude. I'm sorry I'm not an overlord and a one punch man fan like you, bro. I am not gonna love an anime, wait decades, get a worse. No, no. You waited for JJK, didn't you? Have I got cinema every time? Good series. I got cinema. It's a good series. Did Overlord give you cinema every time?
SPEAKER_02Overlord's fucking dead to me. Well, it's not dead to me. Did Seven Deadly Sins give you cinema every time? Whoa, whoa, whoa. Don't even throw that at me. We both know you're pissed about that one, too.
SPEAKER_04I know I'm a little pissed.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, okay, okay. But not as much. Move on. Move on.
SPEAKER_03Did One Punch Man give you cinema?
SPEAKER_04Fuck no.
SPEAKER_01That shit is terrible.
SPEAKER_04So as I was saying, I am not a fan like you that's gonna wait years for a one season anime to go in their season two for us to be, oh, it's hype, we're back, oh my god! And then guess what? Chopped ass animation, chopped ass CGI, low graphics, not even close to the quality was the first season. And guess what you're gonna come in here and say?
SPEAKER_02Show's terrible. Thank you. Whoa, so I'm I'm supposed to I'm supposed to be negative about it, even though I'm weighty. Why? If I like the series and it's coming out soon, I'm supposed to be excited. That's what a fan does. That's what a fan is. You're loyal to the product. If the product disappoints you, that's on the product, not on you. You love the product. What did One Punch Man do? It disappointed me. And I love One Punch Man.
SPEAKER_04Oh, and I guess you're gonna get excited for season four, too.
SPEAKER_02Hell no, I fucking hope they fucking bury that franchise.
SPEAKER_04So I guess season four is the next hype thing we're gonna be. Hell no. What season are we on on Overlord then, huh?
SPEAKER_02Fucking season four or five. I don't even know at this point.
SPEAKER_03I don't know. Why do you do this?
SPEAKER_02I'm not excited for Overlord.
SPEAKER_04Day it comes out, you're gonna be like, bro, I I said I wasn't, but look at the trailer.
SPEAKER_02No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I I told you I hated both the movie and the last season.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. I didn't watch none of that.
SPEAKER_02No, I watched it. It was it wasn't that great. At least not compared to the first two.
SPEAKER_04So, like I said, bro, I'm talking about Dynasty 2026 stuff coming out. Like JJK. That's cool.
SPEAKER_02Everybody's gonna see and everybody's gonna see it. Everybody's gonna see it. Farron.
unknownYeah, no, I'm pretty sure.
SPEAKER_03I don't even like Farron, but that's better than these two fans. I told you if we That's better than these two. I thought you would pick it up. We talked about this one like last episode. I thought you'll pick better. I really thought you'll pick better.
SPEAKER_02See, I actually didn't know you knew about Fists of the North Star. I'm actually surprised you don't know about that one.
SPEAKER_04It's an 80s anime. I probably know about it, but I'm not really hyped to hear about it.
SPEAKER_02It's more throwback than anything. It's one of those things where you don't get a lot of. That's why I was excited because it's one of those things that we got a movie in the early 2000s that was made with like$5 budget, but it was kind of cool. I like it.
SPEAKER_04You get a$10 budget and you're gonna be excited for this?
SPEAKER_02I haven't even seen the trailer yet. I'm hopeful. If it looks trash, it looks trash. If they give me some shitty assert animation, that's what a fan does. I'm supposed to be there through the thin and thick.
SPEAKER_03There was no dick. It has been thin for you the whole time. Every time they do a season one, then I hate myself.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna fucking do it anyways.
SPEAKER_04Like this is like I'm I'm like, it's not like this is a crash out. I know, I know our podcasters are like, what's going on right now? But Buck does it to himself. Every time he talks about a new series or a new season, he's like, Oh, this is great. This is this. Oh, I'm hyped about this. Oh, I can't wait for season two. He does it with solo leveling, he does it with all of them. Then the next season comes out and he gets himself disappointed because they don't do everything they thought he was gonna do, or they just have a classic downfall.
SPEAKER_02Like one punch, man. It happens. That's not on me.
SPEAKER_03It's every anime you like, though.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_03I love I'm glad you stopped liking Baruto. I'm really glad. I never liked Baruto.
SPEAKER_02Let's get that straight. Let's get that straight. I never liked Baruto. I've hated Baruto since the day it came out. No, you like the movie. Who was in that movie? Naruto. Who's in the show? Who else was in the movie? Sasuke. Did they have hype moments? 100%. Thank you. That movie was great. And guess what? Baruto has such a limited amount of time. I actually forgot he exists. Because all that dope moments was my GOAT Naruto doing it.
SPEAKER_04No, I'll give him when in the fucking Baruto did the big Rasengun when his dad was like, here, I'll help you. And I was like, damn, my nigga's great. My nigga finally showing my nigga some respect. Finally.
SPEAKER_02That was it. And then maybe when he freed and when he I would have been okay with that. Maybe when he freed Naruto from the tree.
SPEAKER_04Now tell me, I would have been okay with that. I would have loved Baruto as much as I do at that point, right? And then they bring me Naruto, the new one, and I would have, bro, I'm telling you, you're gonna fall in love with this dude, bro.
SPEAKER_02No, I've read the manga. It looks good. You reread it? Are you caught up? Well, I mean, not completely caught up, but like think I'm like chapter 10 or something like that. It doesn't look, it looks really good.
SPEAKER_04It gets good, it gets better.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Chapter 10, like, it gets a lot better from there.
SPEAKER_02A lot better. I'm just glad they don't have trains and fucking airplanes and shit like that. You know what I mean? Like now we're in the we're in the end game, I guess they could say.
SPEAKER_04No, they still have all that stuff though. Like they're still gonna have all of that extra shit, but it's just more that like Baruto has now lost all that shit. Yeah, he's living like Naruto now, and now he understands what my nigga had to go through to say become Hokage.
SPEAKER_01Bald damn time.
SPEAKER_03Put some respect on your father's name, God damn. It took you this long, nigga. God damn.
SPEAKER_02Fuck. The ball damn time.
SPEAKER_04But I won't lie, dude. He's like, everything he's doing in this series is making up for what he did last series. Like, you don't understand. Like, he really did make up off of this. And I'm glad you stuck. I glad you hated him. Because every every time you hate something, it becomes better. Fuck you.
SPEAKER_03Once you start loving something, it's over, bro.
SPEAKER_01I'm sorry, bro. Good run. I'm sorry, man. We had a great run.
SPEAKER_04It's a great run, but every time I hear you love something, I'm like, all right, it's shit's ass.
SPEAKER_01Man, fuck out of here.
SPEAKER_04I'm just saying, dude, I love Seven Deadly Sins, and the day I ran into you was the day that that shit became trash.
SPEAKER_02Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Yep. That series was already going down by season four. Because season four came right after the movie. You can already that was when they had that white blood. We met that's when they had that white blood.
SPEAKER_04Come on. We met at the end of season three, which was a good season. And then the movie.
SPEAKER_02The movie came out. It flopped. That's when we were talking. The show came out. That's when we were talking. And then that's the finale when we were talking. Why didn't you go support the movie, huh?
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, dude. Just remember if if if Buck likes it, just enjoy the first couple episodes. It's over. Alright. What's the GTA update?
SPEAKER_02Oh, they added a mansion with the AI voice. Oh. And they delayed GTA 6 to 2080. Most likely. I will kill you. They just gave us that because they fucking delayed the game again for a year. And they might delay it again because of this update. Because Rockstar likes to shuffle around. So if they delay it next year, don't say I didn't warn you.
Sign‑Off, Running Jokes, And CTA
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Rockstar, I I know you want me to go on a rant and tell everybody to spaz out, blah, blah, blah. I'm not going to do that. Come out with GTA 6, or I am done talking about you. If you gave me two great trailers and you just want me to talk about GTA, let me hear number six. If I don't hear number six, I'm not gonna even rage about it. I'm gonna just talk about it. Like, all right, whatever. Fuck it. It's over. You got a mansion, have fun. You have a dog, have fun. GTA 6, that's when we'll all be here hyped and ready to go. I am I gave I gave GTA 6 all my hype. I have no more hype to give. There's no more hype left to give. There's no more chances left, bro. No, they're like, what hype else do we need? There's nothing else. There's no game, no movie, no TV show, no celebrity, no sports game.
SPEAKER_03No one cares unless it's GTA 6. So, like, I I have no more hype I can get it.
SPEAKER_02Nothing but a delight.
SPEAKER_04Bro, we have the World Cup coming to America, and we're gonna we're gonna talk about more about GTA 6 because it's gonna come out while the World Cup's playing.
SPEAKER_03Do you understand that?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Do you understand what I just said to you? A video game is about to be more popular than the FIFA World Cup.
SPEAKER_02Worst comes to worst. We're gonna have FIFA World Cup before GTA 6.
SPEAKER_04No, that's probably a definite.
SPEAKER_02But in the middle of the World Cup, it's gonna come like right now.
SPEAKER_04And I promise you that's gonna be talked about a lot more. A lot more, bro. Like, I promise you when it comes out, we're taking a week off. Because Friday I'm coming going straight home. I'm hopping on GTA immediately. Playing from Friday to Sunday to Monday because I'm gonna call off work. Then I'll be here on the next Friday to tell you how much I love the game. Oh man. It's gonna be exciting. But all in all, just drop the game or don't even talk to me no more. I'm over it. I'm not even I'm not entertaining it no more. Alright, y'all. That's it. We're done here. I am exhausted. I don't know how long I've been talking for, but definitely ran over my fucking staying time. That banging at the beginning pissed me off. There's a lot of incidents, recordings, everything. Buck, how'd you feel about this? Great. I'm tired. It's hot.
SPEAKER_02Hot. My cheeks are on fire. My my face cheeks.
SPEAKER_04I was about to look at you very weird.
SPEAKER_02No, no, my my actual weird.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Well, I guess we got a last joke to let him off off. Alright. Remember one thing, everybody. Watch some motherfucking anime. We out of here. I love y'all. Watch and like and comment. Buck. Peace.
