That's right! In this episode, we kick it with WNBA legend and Indiana Hall of Famer Bridget Pettis.
Bridget shares her incredible journey, from growing up in East Chicago, Indiana, to her early basketball career, playing for the Florida Gators and professionally in the Italian Women's Basketball League. She also reflects on being selected 7th overall in the inaugural 1997 WNBA Draft by the Phoenix Mercury.
Of course, we dive into the sneakers she laced up while getting buckets in the WNBA and the stories behind the kicks that were part of her journey.
Today, Bridget continues to make a difference through her nonprofit, Project Roots, an urban community garden and farm in South Phoenix that is dedicated to serving and uplifting the local community.
Hear from a true legend who continues to make an impact both on and off the court.
