Intro:

Hello Everyone! Welcome to The Game of Life Podcast; I am Alexandria Burek and I am your host.

If you are new here, thank you for joining us (me) on this journey, if you have become a regular, I am sending you so much love and GOOD VIBES.

Our ride on the metaphysical magic carpet ride continues, this week, diving even deeper into the law of vibration.

In today’s episode, you can expect to walk away with 7 practical actions you can take to raise your vibration and create the life you desire (or at least like). Before that we will first learn about the different scales we use to measure vibrational frequencies, how we can use neuroplasticity to our advantage, and how this all works together to create the reality you experience each day.

Given I released two episodes on the same day to get caught up, we will skip the personal update this episode. Hopefully I will have something happy to share following Valentine’s day weekend.  Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

The Law of Vibration: Philosophical Roots and How it Works

In the previous episode, we learned, that everything (every person, living being or plant, and object) is all made up of energy and everything vibrates at its own frequency. We can raise (or lower) our frequency and our vibration based on our thoughts, emotions, words, and behaviors.

In this episode, we will explore the core concepts and principles of the law of vibration.

There are actually so many concepts of the law of vibration, that I had to pair it down to the three categories. First will be the scales we have developed to describe consciousness, sound, and light. Second will be frequency synchronization and neuroplasticity. Finally we will look at vibrational healing which includes sound healing, chakras, and reiki.

So first, lets talk about and explore the scales that exist to measure our consciousness, sound and light. In the previous segment on the law of divine oneness, I mentioned that I was reading a book, Power Vs Force, which was all about the Hawkins scale of consciousness, which quantifies the vibration of our emotions. At the lowest end of the scale is Shame (20 Hz). Hawkins says in his book the magic happens at 250 Hz and above. Courage comes in at 200 Hz and Neutrality at 250 Hz. From Hawkins perspective courage is the gateway to positive energy; courage is a shift from destructive to constructive action. People who are courageous are proactive, they take responsibility for their lives, embracing challenges and view problems as opportunities for growth. Ultimately people who are embodying the essence of courage are honest with themselves and take ownership of their lives. Neutrality is all about achieving balance, being flexible, and nonjudgemental about life’s circumstances. Neutrality is associated with a calm sense of knowing and trust in life. You know you are vibrating at this level when you are letting go of your resistance and finding your flow with life. If you are serious about upgrading your vibration, I highly recommend Hawkin’s book Power Vs Force as it ties the unseen vibration with things we can all understand or are more familiar with, like actions or emotions.

Another concept that highlights the law of vibration, is the way that sound vibrates–this is likely why music has such a direct effect on our vibration. When I think of songs that uplift me they are always songs with high pitch and that's because those sounds vibrate faster (at higher levels) than low-pitched sounds. Thinking on the example of heavy metal and its affect on people in recovery, we can make the connection between the low tones and the potential energetic drain.

Light (or color) also corresponds to different vibrational frequencies. On the high end you have violet and then on the low-frequency you have red light. Light can affect our vibration in many ways and has the ability to affect our mood; it can penetrate tissues with its vibration which can be used for healing (or can result in energy drain).

Before we move on, we should make a point to check in with ourselves to determine where we might be currently on the Hawkin’s Scale of consciousness, and furthermore consider how our choice in music (or exposure to different sounds or lightwaves) contributes to an increased, improved vibration or decreased vibration. Over the next week or so, see if you can tune in to changes based on your exposure to sound and light and see how you might be able to improve that to raise your vibrational frequency.

Speaking of raising your vibrational frequency, I have good news. If you are vibrating at a lower frequency, and you are in the presence of someone who has a higher frequency, because of entrainment, you can synchronize to the higher one. This is why people with low frequency, want to be around, and feel good around, those vibrating at higher frequencies. This does not apply only to people, but if we listen to music, or read books, or eat good food, this can all help us vibrate at a higher level; we can boost our mood and vibration simply by being strategic about who and what we have around us or what we consume. Another cool example of this synchronization is between brain and heart; when we feel love, or gratitude, or compassion, our hearts and brain waves synchronize which creates a beautiful harmony in the body, naturally raising our frequency.

We can shift and raise our vibrational patterns by using techniques to rewire the brain. All of our brains, regardless of age, can be rewired using new, repeated, positive thoughts. At first, these new thoughts will seem foreign, and strange, but as neural pathways are formed, these thoughts will not only become more common and comfortable, but eventually they will become your new default. By selecting new thought patterns, you can shift your responses to the external world and rewire your brain to operate on a higher frequency. I have talked about this since the formation of the podcast, and I will continue to advocate that everyone tap into the power of neuroplasticity; you can literally reshape your reality by creating these new pathways. This changes your personality, this changes your perspective, by changing your thoughts and leveraging neuroplasticity, you can actually change your life. One example I have not shared is shifting my mindset and self view from a victim to an inspiration. I would use my morning walk to repeat, out loud to myself, “I am not a victim. I am an inspiration. I am an inspiration to women, I am an inspiration to anyone who has been sexually abused. I am an inspiration to anyone who has struggled with managing their money. I am an inspiration to people who face addiction. I am an inspiration to people with mental health struggles. I am not a victim. I am an inspiration.” and after enough time I sincerely believed it, but what I found most profound, is that so many people from all different areas, started saying to me, that I inspire them, which I was blown away by. I am living proof (and a constant work in progress) of the possibilities of neuroplasticity. You can use this is in so many ways, and I cannot recommend it enough.

Last and certainly not least, is vibrational healing. There are a couple of healing methods I will cover as it relates to raising your vibration, but before we talk about healing we must first understand what impacts the flow of energy in the body, our Chakras. Our bodies were built with seven energy centers where our nerves, bioelectric energy, and physiological functions intersect, these are our chakras. If any one of these centers is blocked, preventing the flow of energy, we will be physically and emotionally affected. One modality of healing is reiki. I have had many reiki healing sessions and have physically felt the stale energy exiting my body–my arm hurt me for hours sometimes after a session because of the release. The lasting sense of calm and peace, and spiritual experiences I had, last long beyond these sessions and the effects are more than I can begin to describe. Again, the use of sound to raise your vibration comes up in healing as well; one my favorites are energy clearing chimes or bells which I use to clear stale energy out of my home. Another is the use of solfeggio frequencies–I thought I had this linked in the show notes, but I apparently do not. If you are interested, message me and I will send you the link, or you can just search on spotify for the solfeggio tones. One of my friends LOVES these and was really surprised about the way it helped him focus at work. He is also about to embark on a new mission in life, which is very exciting, and one might wonder if it is related to his elevated frequency..?

Before we wrap it up, I want to leave you with a clear picture of how this all works together and why it is SO CRITICAL to control your thoughts. So how does this all work. Your state, your vibration, determines your reality. When you are thinking good things, eating good food, speaking good words, listening to good sounds or music, you are resonating and vibrating at a higher frequency. This will attract other beings and experiences, that are on that same high frequency. Because you are thinking about these positive people and experiences you are having and attracting, you continue to emit a high frequency, which then attracts MORE GOOD into your life, this creates a positive feedback loop. Your personal vibration is creating this positive reality. NOW–the same can happen with negative thoughts and experiences. I had to catch myself recently, and I knew I was thinking about the negative experiences too much, I literally told my therapist and my mom that I do not want to get trapped in a negative feedback loop; I knew I was only creating MORE of what I didn’t want by focusing on it–SO I changed the script. Instead of saying “I am in pain, I am exhausted, I am sad,” whatever, I have shifted the statements to “My body is in repair, I am becoming more energized each day, I am making incremental progress” and these shifts have physically, emotionally, and mentally manifested. Just in the last 4 hours, by spending time focusing on this podcast and this topic, I can feel the energy coming alive in my body. I can feel my soul breaking through the quicksand. You have the power to flip the script. You make your own reality.

Before we close out today’s episode, I want to leave you my go to actions that will no doubt raise your vibration. I would love for you to experiment with this and comment about the shift you have seen:

  • Affirmations – Pick one to three that resonate with you, say them out loud if you can, but definitely think them as often as possible–you’ve got to get the reps in. Your affirmations can be situational (like my examples I just shared) or affirmations you want to focus on for a longer period of time like “Everything is working out perfectly in my favor.”
  • Daily Wins (3 today 3 tomorrow) – I have started to write these down (because there is something about being able to look back on the progress you have made). But at minimum I start my time in bed, going over my wins for the day. Most days, even in these last weeks as challenging as they have been, I have been able to find 3 wins. I initially learned about this from Daniel Amen, a world renowned psychiatrist and author on brain health, and I have to say by implementing this several years ago, I do believe this was a HUGE contributor to my new life and the rewiring of my brain. Last night I took it a step further (because right now I need to deploy every trick in the book to get back on track), and envisioned my 3 wins for today–this I learned from the book the Gap and the Gain by Benjamin Hardy and Dan Sullivan. I am happy to say I hit some version of those wins. Find your three wins. Write them down if you want to be an allstar. If you want to be best of the best, envision the three wins you want to reflect on at the end of tomorrow.
  • Gratitude – In Steven Furtick’s book, “Do the New You” he mentioned a Grateful 8 exercise that I decided to implement–if you want to check out the food for thought episode, it is going to be episode 39. But I love doing this activity right before bed. I do not write these down, but I do go through and really think about what I have to be grateful for, and it's a habit I sincerely do not like to go without. 10 / 10 I recommend.
  • Choose your food (consumables) wisely – THIS IS HUGE. I cannot stress enough that you need to be very careful about what you put in and on your body. From an energy standpoint. I know juicing is a superboost to get me back on track. If you know what foods will boost your energy, pile up on those, create systems that make that your normal diet. If you don’t have a clue, notice how different foods affect how you feel (believe me when I say salad is a different vibe than a burger–once you see it you can unsee it). That said, this is more about knowing your body and knowing what makes you feel good.
  • Connect with Nature – go for a walk. You can’t actually be anxious while you are walking because walking engages your parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest). Ground or earth – Stand barefoot and connect your body with the electromagnetic frequency of the earth. Just being outside, breathing in the fresh air, or listening to the sounds of water, or wind, or wildlife, activates relaxation and boosts your frequency.
  • Exercise - exercising will help to increase endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin to help raise your frequency and shift you away from low vibrational emotions like stress, fear, or sadness. Exercising also clears stagnant energy and blockages helping energy to flow more freely.
  • Meditate / Breathwork – meditation raises your brainwave frequency and clears mental clutter, lowering your stress levels. I have a link in the show notes, which extends 30 days of headspace free to any one of you–I highly recommend you take advantage of this! Breathwork will supercharge your energy field. Breath is considered the life force and can help to clear those emotional blockages. There are many breathing techniques. I personally like to use breathwork as a tool to “snap” me out of a state of high arousal or into a state of deep relaxation.

You guys, I hope you enjoyed this episode and feel better having listened to it; I would love to hear if and how these strategies are helping to raise your frequencies and those of the ones around you–if you are feeling extra bold, leave a comment or shoot me a note!
