I’ve been wanting to have this conversation for a while on this Podcast.
I’ve been through a lot with Perimenopause symptoms and I have a lot of friends and cousins who’ve suffered for a long time not knowing what was happening to them. When I started MHT (Menopause Hormone Therapy) formerly known as HRT, I felt I discovered the Holy Grail and I knew I had to share it with every woman I know. Granted, not everyone has the same experience, I think that it’s an option everyone should know about. Unfortunately, there are many failings in our medical system and sadly enough not all doctors are informed on the slew of symptoms that come from peri/menopause and still prescribe anti-depressants and sleeping pills, or tell women to exercise and lose weight, while they could simply benefit from MHT! Anywho, who am I to say??
