Faithful Mama Rising I Overwhelm, Mindset, Marriage, Faith, Identity
Do you ever find yourself wondering, “What am I even doing with my life?”
Do you put yourself in “time-out” just to catch a breath?
Do you ever feel like you belong to everyone else—your husband, your kids, the chores, the commitments—and somewhere along the way, you stopped belonging to yourself?
Well Mama, you are in the right place.
Faithful Mama Rising is a faith-filled podcast for overwhelmed moms who are tired of living in survival mode and ready for calmer days, better rhythms, and fewer meltdowns—yours and theirs.
This is where you’ll start feeling seen, supported, and grounded again… where you finally finish that book you started, make space for the devotional you keep meaning to open, and build routines you can actually stick to—without pressure or perfection.
I’m Mitch—girl mama of two, wife to my hunk-o-hunk of lovin’ husband, Andrew, and a former Mom-ster who once lived knee-deep in overwhelm, resentment, and loneliness.
For years, I believed the right checklist or perfect schedule would magically fix everything. But no amount of planning stopped the Mom-ster from returning—and it definitely didn’t help me feel supported or seen.
Everything changed when I shifted my thinking, got honest about what wasn’t working, and finally asked God what He actually had for me.
Through simple mindset shifts, faith-centered conversations, and practical tools, I learned how to release the pressure of the endless to-do list, ask for help, reconnect with myself, and—get this—be playful again. My lips literally remembered how to smile.
And now? I’m here to walk this journey with you.
If you’re ready to stop chasing quick fixes that only last three days, reclaim the woman God created you to be, and rise out of feeling stuck and into a life of grace, support, and purpose—these are the conversations for you.
So fold the laundry—or don’t (honestly, it’s clean, that’s what matters)—and let’s get our change on.

A New Chapter: Welcome to Faithful Mama Rising
If you’ve been listening to Fun Rich Mom, you might notice something new—and intentional—happening here.
This podcast is evolving.

While the name has changed, the heart remains the same—supporting moms as they grow stronger, more grounded, and more aligned in the lives they’re already living.
In this short trailer episode, Mitch shares why this shift was necessary and what’s ahead—conversations around:
- Overcoming overwhelm instead of living in survival mode
- Mindset shifts that bring clarity and emotional steadiness
- Marriage and communication that move beyond quiet resentment
- Faith that supports real life, not just Sundays
This podcast isn’t about hustle or doing more.
It’s about rising—right where you are.

Let me ask you something.
Do you ever feel overwhelmed before the day even starts—
like no matter how much you do, it’s never quite enough?
Touched out.
Emotionally drained.
Resentful… and then guilty for feeling that way.
Do you ever think,
“Why does this feel so hard when this is the life I wanted?”
Or wonder if you’ll ever feel like yourself again?
If any of that feels familiar,
you are not alone.
Welcome to Faithful Mama Rising.
I’m Mitch—and I’m not here because I’ve arrived.
I’m here because I’ve been where you are… and I’ve taken a few steps forward.
I remember one day when my husband came home from work.
I handed him the kids, walked into my closet, sank to the floor—
and just started bawling.
I didn’t want to seem like I was losing it.
But I was.
I so totally was.
I felt like I had lost the woman he married.
And somewhere along the way, it felt like my whole function had become
being the maid and servicing everyone else’s needs.
I didn’t feel seen.
I didn’t feel supported.
And I hated that I had become the “hold it together until I implode” kind of mom—
because everything just kept piling on.
And here’s the truth—
at that point, I wasn’t truly walking with God.
I believed in Him,
but I didn’t know faith could actually support real life.
I thought exhaustion was just the cost of being a good mom.
Smile. Push through. Keep going.
But that breaking point became an invitation.
Jesus says in John 10:10,
“I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
Not barely surviving.
Not constantly depleted.
Not holding it together until you break.
And that’s why Faithful Mama Rising exists.
Here, we talk about:
Overcoming overwhelm
Strengthening marriage and relationships
Renewing your mindset
And growing a faith that meets you right where you are
This isn’t hustle culture.
This isn’t “try harder.”
It’s real conversations, practical, simple shifts, and faith-filled truth—
for moms who want to rise within the lives they already love.
Because this podcast isn’t just something you listen to…
it’s something you grow with.
So if this feels like what you’ve been needing,
subscribe to Faithful Mama Rising.
Until then, take a breath, Mama.
God isn’t asking you to stay stuck—
He’s inviting you to rise.
Welcome to Faithful Mama Rising.
I’m so glad you’re here.
