Columbia, South Carolina. Prior to his appointment at Erskine he was for 20 years
Associate Pastor for Teaching at First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, South Carolina. He is the author of Letβs Study Matthew (Banner of Truth Trust, 2009).

Season 3 begins a two-year journey through scripture we're calling The Books and the Book of the Bible*
This first year is a read-through of the Old Testament, titled "Thus It Is Written" (from Luke 24:46).
What to expect:
- PDF reading plan for 2026 taking you through Thanksgiving.
- A literary and canonical reading plan (not chronological).
- Books of the Bible read together, as literary works and in the order of the Hebrew canon.
- Weekly readings designed for one sitting (or spread across the week).
- Built-in breaks for additional study, reflection, or catching up.
- New episodes release Saturday evenings.
