Being an artist today means going beyond the canvas. This piece highlights the shift from traditional art into the world of design—where creativity meets strategy, technology, and opportunity.

Surrounded by bold colors and digital layouts, the message is clear: artists who embrace design expand their reach, increase their impact, and unlock new creative paths. It’s not about replacing art—it’s about evolving it.

Rethinking your entire creative process, your designs, your sketches, your drawings, and so forth is a thing. And I want to talk to all the creative artists out there, all the fabulous uh people that have designed some wonderful creations, uh, but you need to pay attention to the people. You need to pay attention to your audience, you need to pay attention to the actual art buyers, the actual art influencers, the um the gallery owners, the art conductors, and all the people that are involved in the process of purchasing art. Uh, I can tell you, over the years, I've had to rethink the way I do my designing. And the reason why was because I did a whole bunch of shows. I did like 17 shows in one year, and uh the people that were coming to me, the buyers, the other artists, the art gallery owners, and they were looking at uh 20-some pieces, and they said, I really like this, I really like that, I like certain types of designs, I like certain types of creations, I like a certain type of um canvas type look. And some pieces I like that have uh semi-gloss to it, and other pieces I like it more uh of a matte finish. And you really have to pay attention to designs and and creating items because it did influence me uh, you know, seven, seven or eight years ago, it did influence me the way I saw things and the way I started designing things because I adapted some of my style and brought it far, far right over to more of a deep, passionate, abstract style and landscape, not just basic landscapes, but incorporating the landscape themes into an abstract type of evolution. So you have to pay attention to what you're creating, and you have to pay attention to what the buyers want. And the more I produced all these new unique designs, the more people that were buying my product. There were more people buying my wall art, my pieces, my paintings, and they're all acrylic. Uh, right now I'm no longer doing oil, um, but they're all acrylic and they're all you know unique and custom and beautiful designs. So pay attention to your to what you're hearing and what people are saying about your art, and then go forward and adjust your style because you have to give the art lovers and the art buyers what they want, what they're looking for, what they have in their mind. And so that's what you got to do. Pay attention.
