49: Hex Cougar, Pauline Herr, So Sus
Some artists put on for up-and-coming artists, but Hex Cougar puts those up-and-comers on his songs directly. The LA-based DJ and producer brought Pauline Herr, So Sus and Sejo---three super talented visionaries--and joined the trio in a grand and true-scale sonic epic. The "Genesis" EP and its four tracks blend each artist's identity to create something new and larger than the sum of its parts. It was the first time they'd all collaborated, and they did it all over text and email!
In this chat, I get three of the four super producers together to hear how their avenger product turned into one of the most exciting EPs of 2021. Shout out Sejo who couldn't be here because he had to work. We'll get you on next time!
