Jeff is the founder and head instructor of The Rising Phoenix Martial Arts Academy. Jeff's martial arts history begins in 1971 and he has spend several decades earning instructor ranks in several martial arts including Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts, Majapahit Silat, and Combat Submission Wrestling. A well respected instructor of adults and children, Jeff has carved out a well respected place in the martial arts community and even hosts his own podcast, The Martial Brain.
