In Episode 2025_38 of The Martial Arts Lifestyle Podcast, host Tim Becherer interviews New York City based Martial Artist Phillip Cruz. Phillip is the co-owner of Unlimited Martial Arts in Williamsburg Brooklyn. He became interested in martial arts by watching martial arts movies on VHS and a young boy in Puerto Rico. Growning up in a rough neighborhood in The Bronx, Phillip new that martial arts trainining was a must for him. He found a school that taught Jeet Kune Do and began his journey that currently has him certified as an instructor under Guro Dan Inosanto and a full time martial arts teacher. Phillip believes in giving back and paying it forward by teaching underprivileged kids in schools from kindergarten to high school. His other martial arts studies has included the Filipino Martial Arts, Savate, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Tune in and hear his story.
