Guests range from full time martial artists/instructors, stunt people and actors, military/law enforcement, to people with all kinds of other professional lives. The Martial Arts Lifestyle Podcast Episode 2025_41 with Saeed Badiei
In Episode 2025_41 of The Martial Arts Lifestyle Podcast, host Tim Becherer interviews Utah based Martial Artist Saeed Badiei. Saeed began his martial arts training as a young boy in Iran. After the Islamic revolution in the late 1970's, he found the martial art he was practicing banned by the government after its founder had fallen out of favor with the governemnt. After practicing with his group in secret for awhile, he took up training at a formal school that was approved of by the government. After some time and political turmoil, he decided to get out and had a long, event filled escape to Germany. Eventually he determined he'd like to settle in the US and did so. He first got involved in the study of Hapkido in Woodland Hills California. His training eventually exposed him to FMA and Jeet Kune Do. This finally led him to his studies at the Inosanto Academy of Martial Arts. Tune in and hear his story.
