Nero

The first book of the Alliance Series begins with the story of Nero and Payton. After running away at 17, Payton has struggled to make ends meet for the past ten years until one night a man walks through her patio doors, stepping into her home and life. Instead of being terrified she is instantly intrigued. Nero, as head of the alliance, has built a name for himself but as all mafia leaders, it's taken work and many lives to do so and when the woman he falls for the second he walks in through her patio doors is in danger he is more than willing to paint the streets red for her.
