Dr. Lynmara Colón promotes innovation by utilizing technology and artificial intelligence to support multilingual learners and drive personalized learning. She leads with a “Disney mentality,” focusing on exceptional experiences, attention to detail, and a caring environment in all aspects of her work. Lynmara is a champion for building positive school culture, emphasizing the importance of relationships and mentorship, and motivating young women to break down barriers.
Lynmara is the co-author of Empower Our Girls: Opening Doors for Girls to Achieve More. She received the National School Boards Association “20 Leaders to Watch” award in 2017. Lynmara earned a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Tarleton State University, as well as a master’s degree in educational leadership and a doctorate in educational leadership and policy from Old Dominion University.
