A WORLD GONE MAD
Karoline Leavitt Leaves Trump, Josh Kushner Buys LA Lakers for $12B
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Jeff Alan Wolf is in a weird Wednesday mood, and this edition of A World Gone Mad takes a decidedly different turn. It’s shorter, more relaxed and a little experimental, while still finding plenty in the news worth talking about.
Karoline Leavitt is leaving the Trump White House, bringing another change to an administration that rarely seems to stay quiet for long. Mike Lindell, the pillow guy, is also back in the headlines following his latest venture into politics.
Then there’s the LA Lakers. A massive reported deal involving A Kushner has Jeff’s attention for reasons extending well beyond basketball. When politics collides with a team he’s followed for more than half a century, there are a few things he needs to get off his chest.
But the biggest part of this short episode may have nothing to do with Washington or sports. Jeff has a personal request for the WolfPack, especially those listening across the United States and around the world, and this time he’s hoping they’ll actually answer the call.
How far does A World Gone Mad really reach? Jeff has come up with a decidedly old-school way of finding out, but he can’t do it without the people on the other side of the microphone.
It’s a different kind of A World Gone Mad: a little news, a little politics, a little basketball, and a much more personal conversation between Jeff and the WolfPack.

Weird Wednesday Mood Setup
SPEAKER_01This is a world gone mad. This is a world gone mad.
SPEAKER_00Mad Mad Mad Mad From Studio 19, I'm Jeff Allen Wolf, and this is definitely a world gone mad. Hey Wolfpack, I'm uh still in one of those, let's call it, a weird Wednesday mood. So this episode is going to be low-key, a little bit of news for you, a tiny bit experimental, and send you some laid-back vibes. If this is your first experience with my podcast, I'm telling you now this is not typical of my podcast episodes at all. So please listen to other earlier episodes, and you'll get a true indication of what my podcast is about. Okay, here we go.
Trump World Turnover And Losing Streaks
SPEAKER_00White House press secretary Carolyn Levitt leaving her role, Trump announces. Never saw that coming. I say that sarcastically. Wow. People leaving Donald the Delusional Ones administration. Remember the first go-around of Trump? And how many people were either fired or walked out on Donald? We lost count. Levin said she's leaving for personal reasons and to be with her young children. I believe she recently had a baby. Well, that may be true. It's more likely she can't deal with such a dick like Donald, who has zero respect for women. And here's more consistency with Donald, the delusional one. Republican Mike Lindell, Mr. Pillow guy, lost his primary in running for Minnesota's governor. One big frigging yawn. If this guy got elected in that primary to run against Amy Clobisher at the midterms, I would have given up my residency on planet Earth. Failed people in Trump's cabinet posts, failed people and endorsements from Trump. Same shit, different day with Donald's circus. And other maddening things happening.
Lakers Sale Anxiety And No Escape
SPEAKER_00The Los Angeles Lakers basketball team repeatedly to be sold to Josh Kushner, Bob Iger, for a record twelve point five billion dollars. That's with a capital B. And I only bring up the sports news item for two reasons. One, I'm a diehard Lakers fan for 50 plus years. And two, Josh Kushner, sound familiar? He is the brother of Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Oh, terrific. Because apparently Donald Trump fucking up the country wasn't enough. Now we're coming to fuck up my Lakers. We just can't get away from Trump. Wherever we go, we can practically smell him in the air. And I'd say if we stayed off social media and turned off the TV, at least we wouldn't have to see Donald. Except where I live in Arizona, there's no escape. We walk outside and it's Trump t-shirts and Trump hats and Trump bumper stickers. T-shirts and hats and bumper stickers. Oh my. So basically, living in Arizona has turned my visual cortex into a political crime scene.
Send Your City For The Wall
SPEAKER_00I'd like to switch gears slightly, ask you another favor, you the wolfpack. It's something I've asked over and over again, and almost none of you have responded. I'm trying to find out just how far the voice of this podcast is actually reaching, across the country and outside the country as well. So I'm asking politely. I'm repeating my ask. Hell, maybe at this point you could call it begging. Would you please check in with me? Tell me the city and state where you're listening from. I have this big giant wall in my studio, and I'm putting push pins, or I want to, in all the different locations where listeners are hearing this podcast. I want to actually see where the wolf pack is out there. But I can't just start sticking pushpins into fake locations because nobody wrote me. That would be cheating. And what the hell is the fun in that? So would you please send me a one-line email? Seriously, that's all I'm asking. One line. It'll take you less time than it took me to beg you to do this. I'm pretty sure all of you use email, or at least most of you do. Just send me your first name, the city, the state where you're hearing my podcast. And if you're outside the United States, your region and country, that's it. You don't have to write me a novel. You don't even have to tell me I'm brilliant, although I'm certainly not going to stop you from doing that. If you like my podcast and you've ever wondered how you could help me without spending a dime, this is one incredibly easy way to do something. Help me fill up that wall with pushbins. Show me just how far this podcast is actually reaching. I see the downloads, but I don't know from where. Wolfpack talks at gmail.com. W O L F, just like the big bad wolf. Pack like a pack of wolves. P-A-C-K talks like you're talking to me. T A L K S at Gmail.com. I'm really not asking a lot from anyone. I'm asking, you know, I've asked you this before, now I'm asking again. Give me one line in an email, your first name, where you're listening from. Let's see how many of you will actually take a minute and answer the call this time.
How The Show And Substack Grow
SPEAKER_00There are some funny misperceptions about this podcast. Some people, mostly my family and friends, and I'm sure a lot of strangers think I just turn on the microphone and I talk, and it's easy as pie. Trust me, it's not. Takes a lot of time and effort to do each podcast, usually three times a week that I do the podcast. And now the Substack article once a week. And speaking of my Substack, it's taking off a lot of people reading the articles. So a huge thank you to those of you that have read. If you don't know, Substack is where people write things, whether it's poetry, opinions, comments, articles, etc. I write a weekly column. You could go on a browser, search for Substack, and inside of Substack Search, search for Jeff Allen Wolf, The Wolf's Den, the Wolf's Den. Some listeners have said when I send the link out to them for my Substack article, they are told they have to download all their contacts. That's not normal. So if it's happening to you, ignore it. And let me know, I'll fix it for you. The easiest way to read the articles in my Substack is just to download the free Substack app. Go to Google, go to Apple Store online, download the free Substack app. And please don't tell me, oh God, Jeff, it's technology and it's another app. It's really simple. You go to online on the Google Store or the App Store on Apple, search for the Substack app, download it, enter your email, that's it, you're done. Then you could read my articles each week. And please don't send me comments here in Instant Messenger or Facebook. Could you leave the comment below the article you read in Substack? That's what makes the Substack grow and other people see it. If you have any questions for me, anything at all about any episode or podcast segment, or even what's happening in the world today, or you just want to email me and bitch at me, could you send me an email at wolfpacktalks at gmail.com.
Reset For Friday And Sign Off
SPEAKER_00I will be back to a normal podcast episode Friday, hopefully in a much better mood. I'm Jeff Allen Wolf. This is definitely a world gone mad. Until then, I urge the Wolfpack. Remain skeptical, question everything. Please don't lose hope. And most of all, stay alert.
SPEAKER_01There is chaos in the world. Can't you see? And we need to stand up and freezer. This is a world.
