In May 2024, Accenture appointed its first Chief Responsible AI Officer, Arnab Chakraborty, a new role and sign of the times. As Chakraborty shares, “this is the summer of AI.” As fast as artificial intelligence (AI) is catching on, ChatGPT recently passed 200 million monthly active users, Chakraborty stresses the importance of responsible AI and “making sure that you have got the right guardrails” in place.
