hat if the thing keeping you from growing isn’t your situation—but the belief that you need a different one?

In this message, Paul reminds the Corinthian church that spiritual maturity is not found in changing external circumstances, but in remaining faithful to God right where you are. Whether rich or poor, married or single, influential or overlooked—our identity is not rooted in status, season, or success. It is rooted in Christ.

Paul challenges the lie that fulfillment, purpose, or godliness begin “once life finally changes.” Instead, he calls believers to pursue God in the middle of their current reality and trust Him with the season they’re in.

This message speaks directly to comparison, discontentment, unmet expectations, and the pressure to measure your life against the world’s standards. Because when we allow culture to define our worth, we become enslaved to expectations God never placed on us.

The invitation is simple but powerful: remain with God where He has you—and let Him form you there.
