Light Bearers in Training was inspired by the novel "Light Bearers: The Awakening". Just as Sarah was awakened to the Light and trained in her powers, we are awakened to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and we need to train to live for Him in this world and carry forward the message of His good news. This is a devotional-like Podcast geared towards teens and young adults, helping them walk in the Light of Jesus Christ and reject the lies of the enemy. Parents of teens can also listen to help facilitate discussions with their children. In a time when darkness seems to be winning as Light Bearers, we stand firm in our faith and our identity as blood bought children of the most High King!

Episode 16: Start with the Basics
On today’s episode, we are going back to the basics. What does it mean to hear God? What does it mean to commune with God?
Today some people believe that we can no longer hear God, that the Bible is the only way to hear from Him, but scripture doesn’t support this. All throughout the Bible people heard from God, talked to God, and met with God. Why would God stop? He wouldn’t. He is unchanging, so that means he still speaks to us today. In fact, Jesus himself said in John 16 that he needed to leave so that we would get something even better in the Holy Spirit. In John 16: 3 Jesus said, “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.”
