How can God's people's suffering be what happens in the context of a judgement that has come from God? How can the people of God, prior to a period of wrath, escape this great suffering, and yet another group of His people, now in another period, be the subject of absolute injustice?
This text, if not looked at carefully, can easily paint God in the wrong light. However, it also has present-day applications, where many have the same question. How can this happen? How long do we have to wait until justice is seen?
In the episode 5 instalment of our Seven Seals series, Pastor Mike helps us understand what can be mistaken or misunderstood in this text. Thankfully, it's more hopeful and stirring than it would appear.
