Every threshold tells a story — the question is, who’s writing yours?

In this message, drawn from Deuteronomy 6:8-9, God commands His people to write His words on their doorframes before stepping into the land of promise — not because He’s concerned with decoration, but with authorship. Pastor Mike reveals that before Israel could inherit blessing, they had to decide whose narrative would define them: the writing of Egypt, the writing of Canaan, or the writing of God.

He shows that what’s bound to your mind and acted out by your hands eventually becomes the script of your life. Every culture, every household, every believer lives under a story that either aligns with Heaven or resists it. Yet through Christ, the handwriting that once condemned us has been erased — replaced by His. The Spirit now co-authors what we couldn’t write ourselves, ensuring that what Heaven reads about us reflects what was written about Him.

Because the land isn’t just territory to enter — it’s a posture to keep, and only the narrative God writes will last beyond the threshold.
