Brooke Barnett
Brooke Barnett is the 16th president of Rollins College, beginning her tenure in 2025. She previously served as provost and exe. vice president for academic affairs at Butler University, where she led academic strategy and student success initiatives across undergraduate, graduate, and online programs, with a focus on student belonging, faculty development, and innovative learning. She also helped advance major efforts including the launch of a two-year college, expanded graduate offerings, and a first-year experience. Before Butler, Barnett spent nearly two decades at Elon University, where she held senior leadership roles and helped establish the nationally recognized Center for Access and Success. A former journalist turned academic, she is an award-winning educator and published scholar, authoring six books and more than 40 articles. She holds degrees from Georgetown College and Indiana University.
