About Kimberly Zimmerman
Kimberly Zimmer is the Assistant Vice President of Admissions at Knox College, where she oversees all admissions efforts, reporting directly to the Vice President of Enrollment. With 15 years of experience in college admissions, outreach, and leadership, Zimmer is dedicated to expanding educational opportunities.
Previously, Zimmer served as the Associate Dean of International and Regional Admissions at Illinois Wesleyan University, where she managed regional recruitment and international admissions. She also initiated the regional recruitment program in Dallas, Texas.
Zimmer holds a B.A. in English and American Studies from Illinois Wesleyan University and an M.A. in Leadership Studies in Higher Education from North Central College. Her thesis focused on supporting first-generation college students. With her expertise, Zimmer aims to continue making a positive impact in higher education.
