We all have a life story, and these stories are created daily, monthly, yearly, and over a lifetime. This podcast explores how we can intentionally shape, construct, and ultimately create good life stories.
Each episode begins with Tal and his brothers, Noah and Eli, sharing stories from their upbringing. After their (sometimes lively) banter, Tal conducts in-depth interviews. Season 1 focuses on a diverse group of dads and the unique ways they connect with their children. The conversations in season 1 are inspired by Tal’s book, Dad Mode: 25 Ways to Connect with Your Children.

This episode begins with Tal sharing a few lines from one of his favorite poems, “Wild Geese” by Mary Oliver. He uses the poem to introduce the question of what we truly love, and how we can make more space for those things in everyday life.
Tal shares his own love for exploring the landscapes of Switzerland, especially the forest around his mountain hut. He then invites listeners to reflect on what they love and to consider how they might spend more time with those people, places, and practices.
