Create Good Stories
We all have a life story, and these stories are created daily, monthly, yearly, and over a lifetime. This podcast explores how we can intentionally shape, construct, and ultimately create good life stories.
Each episode begins with Tal and his brothers, Noah and Eli, sharing stories from their upbringing. After their (sometimes lively) banter, Tal conducts in-depth interviews. Season 1 focuses on a diverse group of dads and the unique ways they connect with their children. The conversations in season 1 are inspired by Tal’s book, Dad Mode: 25 Ways to Connect with Your Children.

In this episode, Tal reads a poem by Antonio Machado on failure and follows it with Rainer Maria Rilke’s poem Let This Darkness Be a Bell Tower. Together, these two poems invite us to think differently about failure, darkness, and the difficult seasons of life.
